Always go above beyond at this location!I have an appt there today @5:30pm to re patch a small hole from the muffler they installed. When the muffler and pipe were installed a couple weeks ago, the tech was awesome and said if it needs any patch work to present the receipt and they'd handle it. And true to their word I'm going in to have it patched today! Always great service and very friendly staff too.Mike P

Needed a brake job fast so I called up and they had me come in the next day for 9am. I got there for 9 but no one was there and no one to pick up the phone. It was Veterans Day so I thought maybe they made a mistake and weren t coming in. Called again 930 they picked up so I brought the car back and they took it right in. Was done by 1230 for back rotors and pads. $450 not bad considering another shop wanted more. Would definitely come back if need more brake work or muffler work. If you speak Spanish that s a huge plus but the nice lady inside speaks English well enough.

I am very pleased with the premium quality craftsmanship. The flanges on both ends of my vehicle's resonator separated due to rusted hardware and the metal was too weak to bolt back together. I needed someone to make a permanent repair and weld the pipes together. Having sublet work like this out for customer's cars where I used to work, I new what to expect for this vehicle. This job came out better than the other three shops I've used before. The welds are very clean and the angle of the pipes maintained a stock appearance. I highly recommend this shop for exhaust repair.

I went there to get a custom piece for my civic and I m not disappointed at all. It was not an easy task yet. The mechanic completed it with is we were missing parts and it was at times very hard, but they were always extremely kind and even stayed after hours to help complete the job I would recommend anyone needing repairs to visit here.

I reviewed these guys 3 years ago under different management and they were great all around with customer service, pricing, and quickness. I called in on a Saturday and got a quote for a muffler and resonator delete for my 2015 Focus ST. The quote was literally exactly what people on all the forums said I should expect to pay, they are very fair and honest. I asked if I could bring the car on the following Wednesday or Thursday (my days off) and I was told that would be fine. Wednesday morning I called and they remembered talking to me and told me to come by any time. My girlfriend and I arrived about 20 minutes later. Upon arrival they checked out my exhaust to make sure they could do the job and confirmed the price I was quoted. I was told it would take around 2 hours so we went down the street to eat. We got back to the shop about an hour and a half later and he was doing the final weld.Very clean work, they checked for leaks and seemed to do a thorough job.Cool group of guys, they were smiling just as much as I was when we got to hear the finished product! I'm much happier with my car now thanks to this shop!

I was driving from New Jersey to Mystic CT on vacation when I began to hear my brakes rubbing and scraping. I called the shop and they were able to take my car in on short notice for a diagnostic, and they were able to fix my brakes for a reasonable price before lunchtime. My car now runs the smoothest it has in 1.5 years due to ongoing brake problems I was unaware of. If my car breaks down again I hope I'm near this shop!

Went in because my catalytic converter had rusted off at the muffler pipe joint. Called up this shop and brought my own part and he welded it on for well under what you'd pay for an hour at any other mechanics shop. Drove by later that night on the way back from dinner with my girlfriend to see the light still on in the garage at 10:00pm, the owner was still there working and my car was ready to go. Great place, great service.

Extremely fair and totally understanding. I hit highway plates yesterday, and my exhaust immediately got loud afterwards. My broken pipe was about to hit the ground, but they got it up in the air and replaced quick. I'm so beyond grateful for their service! Had aftermarket mufflers installed on my 2010 Mustang GT and they look and sound great! The labor prices are very fair and the staff is very friendly and down to earth. Their welding skills are top notch. I will definitely be bringing all my vehicles there from now on! Thanks again American Muffler.

I went in last weekend to get some repairs done after I lost my tail pipe on the highway. Edwin and his crew were fantastic and they gave me a great price too! Thank you American Muffler and Brake! I will definitely be back!

I went in to have a very loud exhaust leak in my Vibe repaired, without an appointment. They got me right into a bay, and had the leak fixed in about an hour, for less that half of what I was expecting to pay. The guys were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get exhaust work done.

VERY selective about who I let work on my car. Found this place local and was so satisfied with the work Ali & the guys did, that I went back for a second job I had been putting off! Great customer service, quality work done both times & great pricing compared to the other top named muffler places. Would highly recommend!

Heard about this place from a friend.My Nissan Versa SV 2015 a few days agomy muffler got loud and i had a lose pipe.Took it to American Muffler for the first time .Instead of the dealership which would havecharged me a lot.To fix it I did not need to buy a new muffler .and it only cost me 55 Dollars.This place is honest ,friendly and do an excellent job .I would recommend this place over everyone else in the area.Hands down.

Took my truck in for repairs, was there for a week, patiently waiting to get my truck back. Once supposedly repaired(close to $1000.00), the truck still has check engine light and after replacing parts, truck is worst than before which left me on the side of the road waiting for tow truck. Mind you, I was charge the same for used parts as the same for new parts after I did some research. Called to report the issues and customer service was so bad it needs a new category. I would never return nor recommend this chop shop. Having the name "American" as part of the business name is an embarrassment. Us hard working Americans are always looking for a reliable and trustworthy mechanic and this place simply is being managed by a hacker with a good talk. Carry on ladies and gentlemen.

DON'T GO THERE!!! They do half a$$ work, payed for a 2.25" Y-pipe and they connected it with 1.5" pipe putting a huge bottle neck in my exhuast. When confronted he said there is nothing wrong with it, wrong! Refused to fix it. But told me if I wanted it "fixed" that I'd be charged again. Terrible customer service. #hackjob

Only people I trust working on my car. Recommend to anyone for any job not just muffler work. All the workers they're kind, fair, and actually look out for their customers. Not disappoint!

Best place ever. Really satisfied with the work these guys do. Good price good work fast and nicely done. Definitely recommend. Ive been viewing review's and i really dont know how some people can hate and leave the types of reviews ive seen. I give 5 stars bc thats all i can give but in my opinion this place deserve ten. Wont regret guaranteed.

I went there in the last week for brake work and was told they don't do that anymore. The nice guys that were there are gone and replaced by new guys. Not sure if whole shop changed hands or if these are just some new mechanics that took over but SO not happy and want the others guys back.
