Excellent service. Punctual, very important to me. Opens at 7:30 am, arrived at 7:30 and customers were already inside. Bought fuel injector cleaner, cashier was very knowledgeable and explained the differences in brands and grades of gasoline. I learned something this visit. Higher grades of gas at top tier gas retailers have more detergents to keep my engine running cleaner. Amazing service, saved me a bunch in expensive repairs.

This pick up today BS is getting old. In stock online, ordered online, I drive 30 minutes to get here and they don t have the product I ordered for in store pickup. Bait and switch tactic that s becoming the norm unfortunately. 2 stars because the employees were nice about me wasting half my afternoon.

I needed a radiator, for my truck. I looked it up on line. They showed a few different ones. When I called the next day, they had one in stock. Perfect.. I received a 15% off email discount. When I went to the store, it wasn't valid, unless I purchased online . The radiator did fit, with no problems.

I went to get a new battery. The guy behind the counter was very helpful. I can t remember his name. Very friendly. They removed the old battery and replaced it with the new one. I d definitely would recommend them to everyone.

There was only 1 person behind the counter and i was purchasing windshield wiper blades and needed help taking the old off And putting new ones on and the guy refused to come outside and help me and i thought that was very rude especially since i had already managed to rip one off i was very disappointed because they used to b very helpful!!!!! I understand that he was the only one in there but there wasn't any other customers there and he could easily see if someone pulled up. I'm very disappointed

Didn't buy anything because they didn't have what I needed, but the person that assisted me with my questions was very helpful. He even went above and beyond to call another store, that wasn't an Advance Auto Parts, to see if they had what I was looking for.This location has hired at least one excellent person and I regret that I don't remember their name.

Always great working with the staff at the store. Every time they make the experience easy and seamless. There attention to detail in unmatched anywhere else. I can say that hands down Eric is one of the nicest employees and has been nothing but helpful every time I go in there for parts or call to check on an order. John the manager is very accommodating as well and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for the best value on parts and service in the Wallingford area. Thanks again for all your continued help!

Went there March 4, 2020 around 5:30 p.m. no other customer in store. One attendant on phone. I told the other attendant I might need a car battery, could he check it. It turned out it was bad. Since there was a core charge, I asked if he could replace it and not charge for the core. He said yes so I paid, but while going to replace it the phone rang and he went to answer it, and stayed on the phone helping whoever had called. And just when I thought he was done he starts helping another customer who had just walked in and had some questions about some items that he wanted to purchase. I said from the door "can you please finish helping me, I already paid", he responded, "in a second". Then someone else comes in and he starts helping that customer. I said to myself "that's it I've had it", and I went to the counter, threw my receipt on the counter and said "you can keep your battery, and cancel the charge on my credit card". So instead of doing the credit-back himself, he hands it over to the other attendant who was 'still on the phone'. Since I was set on canceling the purchase I had to now wait for this guy to get off the phone. Finally this guy tells the person he is talking to that he has to put him on hold "cause he has a customer waiting".....imagine that.....the other guy didn't even tell him what the problem was, cause he thought I was returning something I purchased previously and was now returning it. If this is the kind of customer service to be expected here, then needless to say I will not be buying anything in this place again! And as far as all the other 5 star reviews....after my experience they don't mean squat!

Soooooo rude. Customer service was awful. I usually never post bad reviews but after the way I was treated today I had to. The guy at the front desk cut me off mid sentence and was so condescending towards me. Didn t even try to help me, seemed like he was just miserable with himself and lazy. Would never go back or recommended anyone to this location.

I dropped by and asked Eric to check my battery. It was such a pleasure dealing with him. He checked battery and alternator. No hard sell. He ended up replacing my battery. Terrific and friendly service. Highly recommend.

The gentleman named ERIC was very attentive. Took the time to walk around the counter and assist us on the floor. He found exactly what we were looking for and even was kind enough to allow us to use the tools to what needed fixing. Also, he made time to give us an estimate on a couple of parts and share some valuable information to our needs. Thanks again Eric, you're a great asset to the company ADVANCE AUTO PARTS

I was driving home in the down pouring rain and my windshield wiper flew off. Horrible drive home. A co-worker suggested I go to Advanced Auto Parts and see if they could help. Eric was fabulous. Turns out where I purchased the blades they did not install a part that made them fit to my Honda. He explained that this part frequently gets thrown out since not all cars need it. When we looked at the one wiper blade left it was ready to come off too. I purchased one new wiper blade and Eric literally went to the ends of the earth (or the end of their parking lot to the dumpster)to find the part I needed to fix my other blade. Refreshing to find someone that was not only friendly, but knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely go back.

Customer service at this store in particular is usually always great! Other Advanced stores is a different story. Jeff and Sonia are fantastic and are quick to get me what I need or help me out.

I never cared about what auto part store I went to untill i came to this store and met Eric. This employee is a commercial salesmen hes not even supposed to be at the front desk. He not only was very helpful and knowledgeable but he very clearly cares about helping people. He help my girlfriend and I diagnose a problem with the windshield wipers. We didnt get it fix the problem was bigger then we could fix. But Eric had punched out and the stood outside with us on a 30� night trying to help "Off the clock"!!! People just dont do that kind of stuff anymore. And because of Eric not only would I recommend this place over other auto parts stores but I wont go anywhere else now unless i have to.

Needed a battery. Clerk installed it for me. I know it's their job. But it was cold out, I had just had surgery I couldn't do it myself. He didn't complain and was very professional and courteous.

Helpful and informative. Went in for a check engine light check, they don't do the checks anymore, but will allow you to borrow their tester. They were very helpful afterward when we came back with the test results.

Typical auto parts store. Some employees don't know too much, such as standard to metric socket sizes and product knowledge. Definitely better service than Auto Zone in Meriden though.

Amazing service and helped us out tremendously when our car wouldn't start. Turned out it was a loose wire and not a bad battery and saved us an extra 160 dollars

Took a LONG time for someone to be able to help you. Came in there were two people. I was next by the time I was able to check out there were at least 8 people waiting. Ridiculous!!!
