Tried to order a Turkey grinder and felt very rushed to order by the guy making the sandwich who wasn't friendly at all and seemed irritated he had to make the sandwich, I think he was the owner???. He finished the sandwich and then I then asked for a 1/3 lb of sliced American cheese and he said , NO you buy from the case?? All they had were 1 lb packages or larger which is too much for just myself so I just didn't buy one then I asked if he could give me just a half pound of potato salad and again I got the NO! He shouted u buy one pound only!! Well, ok how bout this.... NO, I buy nothing!! First and last visit ever at this dirty deli joint!! Good Ridens mr rude man, guess you don't want me to spend any $$$$ in your store!

Store has a little bit of everything. Great deli and grinders. The guy working the deli was awesome

Not what this place used to be. Very rude while making my grinder, I ordered a steak and cheese,, worse steak I have had in a long time!

A great place for just about anything you'd want. Good workers too, mature workforce, makes all the difference. Great deli. Voluntowns best. Update...minus 2 stars. However.... as the locals know a lot of the offerings are expired. Bought some apple cider donuts the clerk raved about only to find them completely covered in mold. Come on now. Be better huh?

It's pretty good. Bad is the fact you can't have cold cuts cut to order. Been told they aren't allowed to use the slicer, but, I've seen them use it. One person said that the butcher comes in the morning to slice meats, he's the only one. That's a lie. One other thing.,never buy any kind of water off the floor. It doesn't taste right. I'VE given a try many times, the taste is not right. Even Poland springs. Don't know about the ones in the cooler, but, the water on the floor is no good. I've been taken a couple of times asking anout the deli meats that are already cut. Is it thin? Is it rare? Have been told yes, but not so. Also, all deli meats are kept in the same cooler, which makes them taste funny. I like this store, but, i don't like being taking moo advantage of.

The grinders here are excellent but you should never swipe your credit card on the gas pumps because it charges a massive card card fee.

amazing. this store has everything you need , even in this tough time. Hand sanitizers are there ! To make sure employees are safe they have huge plastic covers at the cash register. This is a great place. Owner is so kind and helpful. Would recommend !!

A small town grocery store that although you won't do your weekly shopping there because the prices are a bit higher than normal it's a fine place for a grab and go stop.A fair sized selection of beer and soda. A superb deli case and honestly the best grinders out this neck of the boondocks. There is a little of everything here including charcoal and propane tank exchange. Eight station gasoline pumps too!The staff are polite and friendly and add a real homey atmosphere to the store.As I said. If you're passing through and want a great grinder don't pass this place up!

This morning I made a purchase for $12 and some change. I paid with a 20 and three 1s because I wanted a $10 bill back. You cashier only handed me back a few coins. I noticed and told her there was a mistake and I paid with $23 I should have a $10 bill back as well. She insisted I gave her a $10 bill and not a 20 (impossible because I only walked in with 6 $1 bills, I took $20 out of your atm). I wasn t upset by the fact a mistake was made I'm a retail manager these things happen. I m upset by her attitude. She should have counted the drawer which is standard procedure in most situations like this, I even asked her to do such. I would have waited for a manager to be called, a camera watched or a drawer counted. Instead she argued it, she was very rude. She opened the drawer and practically threw the $10 at me. Don t act like I m stealing MY MONEY YOU TOOK in the first place. I will never go back here I was actually going to get gas as well but I took my business down the street. It may have not been a lot but I work too hard for my money to have it taken from me. It s just a reminder to pay attention, count your change, and check your receipt.

There grinders used to be really big and good now it's a rip off barely any meat not impressed unforgettable grinders yea right Hamilton Market has unforgettable grinders

Courteous service, good Italian grinder and good liverwurst grinder. Very close to Countryside Campground & RV Park. Overall nice little store.

Staple of voluntown. The owner is nice. The workers there are amazing ESPECIALLY Becky she's the best one. But the sandwiches are ok. And the freshness of the produce could be better. I've noticed some improvement with it but it could be better

I go to Sunny's for everything especially their sandwiches, best grinder I've had in awhile. They pretty much have everything and the prices are great.

They have great grinders for cheap. call 15 mins ahead if picking up because then will take some time to be maked. ENGOY!!!

Great grinders and the meat cooler has a great variety and good prices i snagged a 10lbs pork butt for $19.

I stopped by Sunnys for the first time when chuckys was closed. And boy let me tell you I have only had dunkin drive thru from chuckys since! Sunnys is way better! They have a deli and a mini market as well as an ice cream machine and a sandwich counter. The sandwiches are big and the price is a better value than subway.

Fishing bait, snacks, drinks, great coffee, a deli, a restroom, merchandise and very friendly and attentive staff. This has always been my go to store for any outings in Voluntown, CT. Close to all parks in the are for convenient trips to a store while camping.

Went for the first time and it is one of the best grinders (genoa), at an excellent price point, for the area. Definitely worth your time.

Great store just a normal bodega. Got everything you could want just triple or quadruple the price on everything. They got ramen for $1.50 per individual soup....that should say it all.

If you are a minority you will get racially profiled at this place. I visited this place and was skipped multiple times even though I was in line before the other customers. The cashier told us to move to a different register, and helped someone else, and then tried to help another customer, but we spoke up and that s when she finally helped us. She seemed upset that we asked her to help us and said we would go somewhere else.

Every small town needs a good small grocery store and gas station. For Voluntown, it s Sunny s.These places are never inexpensive, but they are convenient and a necessity sometimes.The employees are friendly and make stopping in pleasant rather than uncomfortable.When owner Vinod happens to be around, he makes you feel at home.

I stop here often for grinders when headed to Green Falls. Highly recommended! Try their seafood salad, you won't be sorry!

Unique gas station/convenience store. Yoy can get everything from CBD hemp to a grinder to eat. Pretty cool spot.
