Came here for an annual emissions test. I called ahead, and was told they were booked solid, & that I could come by & they would squeeze me in. They did. Staff was friendly, everything was completed in a timely manner. Highly recommend.

Don and his team at Knechts are awesome. He always comes through for my family! I had a dead battery today. I was able to get AAA to jump it and dropped it off to Don late afternoon. I pleaded my case to get my car back asap (appointments, errands, no other car to use). He fixed it and I had it back after dinner. I have a new car as of this year and my neighbors have raved about Knecht s garage. I had a slow leak in one of my tires and stopped by Knecht s to see if they could check it out. They were great. Sandra and Bill helped me right away. They have very friendly and efficient staff. The mechanics were able to take my car in pretty quickly and completely remedy the issue, without a long wait. Fair price, too. I will return to them for oil changes, emissions and full services. My new go-to spot! They are reliable and trustworthy. Highly recommend Knecht s garage.Service: Tires

Can't say it enough. Have been doing my vehicle inspections there for a few years now and the service is quick and always with a smile. That's all I have done there so my review is a happy one for what I have been there for.

I would recommend Knecht's Garage to anyone who needs any repairs or maintenance done to their vehicle. It is not often you come across a repair shop that is honest, friendly, and just downright genuine. I brought my 2004 Toyota Tacoma in to have the truck looked over and Don actually tried to save me some money, by not recommending I do much to the truck. It was going to be dump run truck only and not driven daily. Their customer service is second to none and you will leave knowing they did not try to "pull the wool over your eyes". Definitely give them a call for any repairs or maintenance you need done. 5 out of 5. Big Thank you to Don and his team!Services: Auto emissions testing, Vehicle safety inspection

Had some shaking with my set of high performance tires. Called Knects garage after researching service providers with the Hunter Road Force Ba lancer. Sandy was an absolute pleasure to speak with while I waited for my emissions test. They got me in and out quickly, despite the fact that I had no appointment (do make an appointment.) Will return.

I m new to the Trumbull area. I needed to get my emissions done so I google searched places in the area. As soon as I called Knecht s Garage, they picked up right away and we booked the appointment. The sales representative was efficient, knowledgeable and extremely nice! I went for my emissions and it took about 30 seconds! The mechanic was very informative and let me know the exact issues with the car, when to come back, and with what paperwork etc. I was very happy with the service at this garage and will be back again!

Excellent customer service from scheduling the appointment and all the way to picking my truck up. Timeline and estimated cost are always on point and never feel like I am being charged for something that is not needed. Top 3 garages I have ever sent my truck into. Highly recommend.

I was there for emissions. They were very efficient and friendly. I have been a customer for over 25 years and I have been pleased with their repair work. They have always been fair and honest. They are always busy and you may have to wait if you need a major repair but it is worth the wait.

It is so hard, if not impossible, to find great quality mechanics coupled with honesty. Knecht's Garage encompass all these things along with integrity and awesome customer service. Recommended from a good friend, I took my 2002 Lexus in for a water pump replacement. After this experience, I never look back. I have been doing business here for 10 years. I don't dare to go anywhere else. The business has a large volume of work but will always be right there for you if your vehicle breaks down. I taken tires to tire places, mufflers to muffler places. Not anymore. If Knecht's Garage is too busy to have my car service, I will wait because it's worth waiting to have peace of mind of a job well done and customer service unsurpassed by none.

Efficient friendly service...polite, good communication, resolved my problem in a few moments and gave some good advice as I started a 1500 mile journey back to Charleston from new england. And....the mechanic was adorable. Wish he were my grandson.

I go here for emissions testing on my truck. Not the fastest but you do not need an appointment. Park in front, walk in and let them know you need an emissions test. Bring cash. Everyone there is really nice and if I needed work done, I would not hesitate to bring my truck there.

Absolutely a wonderful surprise!Went in expecting grizzly wise guy mechanic types disgruntled because they were busy doing emissions... But wow! Incredibly clean and tidy waiting area. Sweet old school manneredMrs Knecht behind the counter, let me know she was thankful I chose to patronize her establishment. So courteous and personally professional, Highly recommend.

I've only been for emissions testing. The staff is friendly and helpful. Being able to make an appointment for emissions is great! If I needed repairs to my car, I'd consider their services.

They are so friendly and helpful here. They do emissions testing, but are a full service repair facility. Reasonable prices and excellent work. I don't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for repairs.

Knecht s garage is the best in the area! I own a local service business in Trumbull and can tell you that Knechts s Garage puts customer service at the top of their list. I have been a customer of theirs since 2004 and have had nothing but 5 Star experiences with them. They know how to diagnose the issues with your vehicle and get it back to you in a very timely manner. It s not often that I will take the time to write a review, but this one was way over due. If you want to deal with honest, friendly people who provide high quality workmanship then there is no other place to go. They service my truck fleet and my personal vehicle as well. If you need your emissions done, make an appt., be there on time, and you're out in 10 minutes. Cash only - $20.00It works for me...nice people too. Wear a mask.

Very fast inspection! Only took about 20 minutes and I was on my way out. The lady in the front was very nice and pleasant to talk to. I would definitely come back for future issues.

I would say that Knecht's Garage has great customer service, but I'm not exactly a customer. I called the garage hoping to get an appointment to look at an International box truck. Instead of immediately setting up an appointment and taking my money, Rich asked questions about the problems we were seeing, helped me to troubleshoot said problem AND called me back when I had a few more questions. What a relief to talk to someone who is interested helping people at no benefit to themselves. I can't say I'm surprised they already have have fantastic reviews.
