Made a deal on a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu to buy within 2 weeks, was told I didn't need to put down a deposit and the car would be placed in another lot. The car wasn't put in another lot, the owner took a trip to Florida, and a different worker sold the car to someone else. We offered to put a deposit down and was told that all we needed was a handshake. Don't go here if you want a car, they're extremely unprofessional.

I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Ct auto wholesalers every staff member was very professional and helpful. They went above and beyond for me. and although I may have lost hope when obstacles arose they continued to work hard to make my auto purchase happen. Special thank to Stephanie and Johanne they have been a blessing in my life not just threw this process they continue to check in and make sure everything is ok with me and the truck. This place is a scam. People are constantly reporting issues from here and it has a reputation for selling vehicles that either break easily or were never fixed in the first place. My brother bought a truck and the condition of it made it unsafe to drive, they are nothing but con artists.Since you generously called this a scam I will give information. This place sold my brother a 2006 gmc Sierra. It has obvious spots on the frame where spot wielding had been done to cover any damage visible from a quick look. By the ay my name is Geg, and it's not my fault you don't like being called out for being shysty. I will still convince others not to go here and have thought about contacting the better business bureau for an investigation based on my personal experience and what I have read from other people.

I brought my car there to have some work done and the service was impeccable from beginning to the end. I could not say thanks enough. The new mechanic they have is a godsend. He is very experienced and does not b/s you. I will bring my car back for future work.

I love them. Fair prices. Great people. Beyond honest. For the prices of their cars and trucks and quality of service when I ve been in for oil changes, brakes, etc., you really can t get a better deal. I ve been buying from them for years and never had any issues that couldn t be fixed. Highly recommended.

This place it the BEST! I won't go anywhere else now.I was changing my 02 sensor and having issues getting the old one off of my car. I went to a bunch of other car places who basically brushed me off, and didn't have time for something like that, which was a pain and not worth a lot of money.But these guys were different.They helped me get the stuck O2 sensor off, which they had to cut and torch, AND rethread... And wouldn't even take any money!Just the fact that they were so helpful and accommodating for me, some random person off the street, let's know a lot about their character, and their business.This is definitely going to be my new car place!I'm trying to make this car I have last as long as possible, but I know when I do need a car I'll come here!I would highly recommend them to anyone!They also restored some of my faith in humanity!Thank you guys!

I bought a Subaru from this company and they have been nothing but amazing. I had some issues with it early on and they have been more than willing to step up and fix it and get it back to me ASAP. They are great with communication and are dedicated to helping out the customer no matter what. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a smooth transition to becoming a new vehicle owner. We were in a bad situation we needed a vehicle at first they were great. Well no not really we were told that that we could trade in my moped for the down payment then the day came and they changed your mind said they re only giving 1000 for the trade in so then we needed to wait another week. Now with my health failing we fell behind on four weeks payment. Tried lying and saying it was ten weeks. Had there tow truck driviver call the hospital in Torrington asking if I were there. Breaking hips. they had their tow truck driver pretend to work for another company in winsted and claim that he was a police officer and threatened us with a $10,000 fine now they won t answer their phones they re scams when we got into an accident with the car They would not allow us to bring it anywhere else they tried forcing us to say it was a total loss even though it was only two bars it cost me $100 to fix both bars there scams and thieves

I just bought a car from here and let me start by saying first and foremost Stephanie is nothing short from amazing she went above and beyond to make sure my deal went through and she got me in the car she was very helpful even when I felt the deal was gonna fall through she reassured me she would help and that s exactly what she did thanks again for all ur help it was a pleasure

I will echo what most of the reviews say. Run as far away from this place as you can. DO NOT GO HERE. We brought our truck down as a trade for a WRX. They agreed to give us $9,000 and also to waive the conveyance fee. When Rob texted us the numbers we noticed that they were charging us $500 more for the car instead of the price it was advertised for on their website. Website price $12,500. He texted the price as $12,999. When we called him out on the wrong price and provided the screenshot of their website, instead of doing what any legit and honest salesman/ business would do which would be to apologize and correct the numbers, he said he would have to talk to his dad. Next day they call and say they will need to redo the numbers because they want to give us less for our trade-in now. I would give zero star if possible.

Very nice family owned place, Everyone is very friendly and helpful! had a great experience I was looking for a jeep Cherokee reasonably priced and quite honestly this was one of the only ones I could find in my price range. I brought my own mechanic and they had no problem with him looking at it in the garage! There were no extra fees they were completely honest with me and explained everything I had a question about. Location is actually quite small but was rather busy when I was there and still got everything done within hour or so! has a lot of personality and makes you feel comfortable, the people there seemed like they go out of there way for there customers and I liked that. I cant speak for the negative reviews here but I certainly don't think it reflects the guys I dealt with. will buy here again

Last year I bought 2 Jeep Wranglers. My wife and I were treated like we were family. They went above and beyond for us. This year I had an accident with my Jeep and I saw that Ct Auto had a Ford Ranger. I told them I was interested in it, and now I'm driving it. I am really happy with their commitment to the customer. I would give 100 stars if I could.

I went to this place about a week before i had to leave for school looking to purchase a vehicle. Not only did they do their research to find me a car, they went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed, at a very fair price. It is understandable that there will be bad experiences with a used car dealership but these people are very honest and up front, this dealer definitely is worth the shot.

I bought a truck from this dealership recently. yes, I was skeptical due to several bad reviews. John and Rob helped me out with the sale and delivered on everything they promised, and did so quickly and for a very fair price. I have nothing but positive things to say about them and the truck. I have owned many cars, some low end and some high end, and would say that my experience here was top notch, comparatively.

This is one of the best car dealerships ever. they sell so many cars in a month. All the cars are in good condition, only bad people leave the bad reviews. Every dealership makes a mistake, this is one of the best dealerships ever. Give it a chance

I just purchased a 2002 Honda about 3 to 4 weeks ago. They didn't even charge me $3,000 for the car and I have had no issues with it. I love it! My last car cost me almost $5,500 and I had nothing but problems. They kindly bought my car off of me that could barely drive up there to make the deal work with my new Honda! Not only were these guys very kind and professional to me, but they really understood my situation and helped me get out of the hole I was in to move on. Thank you Connecticut Auto Wholesalers! I will be more than happy to refer all my friends and family to you and come back for myself when I am ready. 100% Satisfied

My boyfriend bought a truck from here in November 2014 and everything went great. We returned to buy another vehicle, and after 3 trips (an HOUR drive each way), ended up walking away. Every car we liked would get "sold back to the auction" and when they finally had a vehicle we liked they didn't want to honor the deal we had made with my car I was trading in. They also claimed my car I was trading in had lots of issues, which is not the case and I am still driving it. Every time I called it was like they had never talked to me before! They also said that the lender wouldn't approve me because I lived in Massachusetts, but the same lender sent me a letter saying I was approved but the dealer didn't act on it. They very much wasted our time and I would NOT recommend anyone do business with them!!

This place is nothing but a joke. They lie, they cheat... This is the only dealer that i have ever been too where i was threatened with MY LIFE! There work is shady. They will take full advantage of you. All there cars are gross. You would think they would clean the cars, Nope. to much work.. I would run away from this place. They have been reported to the better business bureau!!! I really hope this helps make you think twice about going to this shop.

Honestly someone in my family has gotten cars here since 2016, so i went here in 2019 and i looked at a 1999 Acura TL they had on Facebook Marketplace, they said it needed a fuel pump but runs and drives, FUEL PUMP BUT RUNS? Red flag #1 So i was changing the transmission in an 01 acura TL at home already and i wanted to just get another car to replace it while the other one was being fixed, so already having one apart for a transmission that was the first thing i checked - when I checked the transmission fluid it was burnt BLACK, red flag # 2 quick test drive up and down the road (sales person came with red flag #3 because they usually didnt when my family member got cars they knew were mechanically sound cars here) so now flash forward a bit and someone else i know got a car here that s apparently been in 2-3 wrecks and they financed it, no disclosure of accidents, tail lights arent screwed in, headlight plastics all broken so those just sit in there too check engine light has been on since 100 miles after picking it up, honestly, you re better off looking elsewhere and beware on marketplace id it leads you to this address or the place nextdoor too.

Cheaters! Please don't go to this place.I went here a few weeks ago for buying an Accent. After fixing a price, the dealer agreed to register the vehicle the next day and fix some issues in the car by then.I added this vehicle to my insurance(paid 2 weeks premium) and faxed it to them.The next day, they said they needed buy some parts and the vehicle will be ready in few days. But eventually they stopped picking up the phone and apparently the sold the vehicle for maybe a $100 more!Not trustworthy!

I wish there was something positive to say about this place. Speaking from personal experience, I was lied to, misled and sold a lemon. These people don't care about anything or anyone, they are only out for your money. I would highly advice you to purchase your car elsewhere. In fact, I just filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against these crooks. I am extremely disappointed in this place, save yourself a headache.

SO, I guess I should have further researched these crooks at Connecticut Auto Wholesalers before buying a car from them. After making a phone call about a flawless Audi TT convertible listed on craigslist, I decided to take the 2 hour trip to go see the car. When I arrived, the car wasn t as described, but for an older car, with the negotiated repairs, it seemed to be worth the money.I was given an Auto Check printout showing it to be a one owner vehicle. After the car was delivered, I did my own Carfax report, only to find that it was in fact a 2 owner and had been in an accident.I was told that the front faring was on order and that I would be installed prior to delivery. The same with a shifter boot that was torn on the interior. The car was promised for a Monday delivery on a flatbed to my home.After numerous calls and texts to Joanne the car never did show up on Monday. At 9 pm after being jerked around for the entire day and told that it would be coming up tonight they finally admitted that they were not bringing it as promised and it wouldn t be until the following day.The car showed up while I was at work. It WAS NOT brought up on a flat bed. They drove it up.The front faring was not replaced and it appears that an amateur did a shoddy fiberglass or Bondo repair and then painted it with a spray can. No matching color and the paint is so thin that you can see the repair work through it.When it was delivered, my wife was told by Rob, that the shift boot was an Audi part, and being shipped directly to you. It has been a month, and there is no sign of the boot. I assume they never ordered it. I have sent several messages to Joanne who sold me the car, and keep being told things like it will be to you on Wednesday .Add all this to the fact that on the initial drive after delivery, there are 2 warning lights on the dash. The Traction control and Air Bag Lights were on after the delivery and NOT WHEN THE CAR WAS TEST DRIVEN. After having the car hooked up to a computer, it was determined that there is a bad airbag computer and an error with the brake pressure switch.Due to the airbag light, this car can t even pass inspection in Massachusetts. Their answer? Take it to an Audi dealer to have the lights shut off. Not an option, as the parts need to be replaced before the errors can be cleared. I am looking at over $1000 in repairs to make the car even road legal. I was told that the car would need to pass inspection in CT prior to delivery and I assume that this never happened as it showed up with 2 spider webs in the windshield as well.My opinion?STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AS YOU CAN. WHEN THE DEAL LOOKS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT PROBABLY IS! I REGRET MY PURCHASE. EMPTY PROMISES AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER AFTER THE MONEY CHANGES HANDS. HOPEFULLY THIS WILL KEEP SOMEONE ELSE FROM MAKING THE SAME MISTAKE I DID.

Great people to work with has nice family atmosphere, they went way out of there way to get me into the vehicle I wanted and for that I felt I should share my review. I currently love my Volkswagen im driving now and when the time comes ill return to purchase my next vehicle!

Worst ever place u could ever think about buying a car. The staffs are rude. How are you guys selling a car but the owner is still driving it??? Don't even consider this place when thinking about buying a car, you will regret it.

They try to be good people but i know someone who just got a car from them and its been back ecery week for the same problem. And someone else who they keep telling a car will be their in a few days and its been moiths and the car has not shown up other then that no a bad place

Dangerous do not buy a car from here, my family including my 5 month old has almost died in it 2ce. Everytime we go it's always well call you or come next week, never a call back & everytime you go for help that next week they can't help you. Bunch of skeemers.
