Schaller Honda told me in Summer 2022 my "brakes wouldn't last the winter". Took a gamble and here I am Summer 2023 and 15 minutes later Cliff tells me my brakes look fine and pads have about 40% life left, no charge. I know where I'm coming back to get them serviced when they're ACTUALLY due!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Brought my van to cliff to check out a no brake pedal situation. Cliff was told the rear driver side tire had brake fluid on wheel. Cliff replaced both front calipers and used old pads. Cliff stated the van was allset. I picked up the van after hours to find brake pedal was still to the floor. Cliff stated that all he did was chang caliper and bleed brakes. My van still has no pedal and is still leaking brake fluid on rear tire. Hes a good salesman and a bad mechanic. WASTE OF $500Service: Brakes

Cliff has working on my vehicles for the past 10+ years. He is the most honest mechanic I know and recommend him to all my family and friends. I have never heard of a single person who has had a bad experience at his shop. Highly recommended! A+++

I have been going to Cliff for year and every time he gives me a fair price and does great work. We thought my wife car need a new motor for the vents. A garage I went to said it would be $1100 and I took it to cliff and it wasn t the motor it s was a bad resistor. A lot less to fix it. I drive from NH just to see cliff. Great man and amazing mechanic.

I do all my own work. When I get stuck, this guy is the only one I trust. I've been fixing cars for years only because I'm poor with seven kids. Cliff does a good job! Trustworthy in my opinion

I brought my car to Cliff's in June, after being very disappointed with my present mechanic over repairs to my car's coolant system. Cliff not only fixed the problem with my car's coolant system, he made sure to check over everything with my car's coolant system, and found belts that had not been repaced by the other mechanic that should have been replaced. Cliff took the time to go over all of the repairs with me before repairing my car. He also topped off all the fluids and and checked to make sure the rest of my car was in good working order. I couldn't be any happier with the job Cliff did on my car! I will be going to Cliff from now on for any repairs my car may need! When I took my car to my last mechanic, I had to bring it back three different times, because of the same issue with my car over heating due to not fixing the coolent system correctly, causing other parts of the coolant system to go, and needing to be replaced. Since Cliff repaired my car, my car hasn't had any further problems, or issues, and has been running excellent! it's nice to not have to worry that my car might break down at any moment, and then having to have it towed and pay for more repairs. I highly recommend Cliff's Auto Repair for his Excellent Service!

Just had a steering and front end inspected by Cliff on my recently purchased used pickup. He found a bad tie rod end, and told me everything else was OK. Repair was done quickly and for a fair price. I like that he only repaired what was necessary. Will definitely use his shop in the future.

I run two heavy work vans on the roads in Terryville, which are some of the worst in Ct.I have had Cliff do brakes many times for me, and also ball joints, and alignments. He has always been done when he said, and the work has always held up well, with the vans working like they should again.I would not hesitate to recommend Cliffs Automotive to anyone I know.

Excellent place, great work & great prices. It is truly hard to find a great auto repair shop & one that is also bluntly honest. Good news or bad, Cliff will tell u how it is & will do what he can to help u out. I have recommended this shop to friends & family. And will continue to do so. You will not be disappointed.

Cliff is a good mechanic. If you have no idea what is going on with your car it is not a good mechanic s fault. A good mechanic can find all the problems fix the problems and the customer will flip out for unauthorized work done. If you can get auto work done anyplace for under $300 that is not a good mechanic. My rider lawn mower cost over $500 to repair. Cliff keeps my cars on the road for less than a 7 year $500 per month loan.Last repair on a 1999 crown Vic PI $500 ran for 6 months. I am going back and ask for help. Cliff will give me a professional answer, yes i can or no it's not worth the cost.

Cliff has been my family's mechanic for over 20 years and you couldn't ask for a more honest and friendly person.There were times he could of taken advantage of my lack of car repairs and he didnt.If you are looking for a mechanic who you can trust to do a great job Cliffs the one.
