This is the best place to get your emissions done. The staff is so kind and truly makes such an effort to help you. This is the only place I d recommend for emissions or getting your vehicle repaired, don t waste your time going anywhere else. This is most honest and stand up location in Fairfield county. They take pride in their work and are so honest with their customers. I had issues at a different emission center - these guys were so kind and professional. Can t wait to come back, but hopefully not too soon ;)

The short version: The super nice and friendly young guys that were working here were incredibly helpful. I will definitely come back here.The long version: a couple of weeks ago I took my car to a different emissions station and they could not get it to work. So I made an appointment with my local mechanic which took a few days to get. He said there was nothing wrong with the car. At my next opportunity, I went back to the original station and they could it get it to work again.So I drive a little further to West High Service Station out of desperation. The two young men working there were really friendly and enthusiastic and they were able to get the emissions to work correctly with a little effort. It's hard to put a finger on it, but they just had this great vibe like they were really into their jobs and proud of their work (I mentioned that the other station could not get it to work and the seemed to want to take up the challenge). I will 100% come back here.

I came here to get my emissions test after Firestone basically was giving me the run around and did not want to do it. The guys were very friendly and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Highly recommend!

I brought my VW Passat in for an inspection after another place was giving me a hard time. The inspector who took care of my car was named Macc and he went above and beyond in providing the best possible service. Would definitely recommend you to come here for all your auto needs.

I brought my car for emission test but the men wasn't to friendly, the first time didn't pass because check engine light was on and fix the problem I drove back, and he said he want to see the light on why

This place from the outside looks rough and many bad reviews that really dig into it, but let me be the first to tell you that this place is the best shop you'll find in Stamford. They're honest hard working people that have been around for a long time. They know what's they're doing and what they're offering you. They're not the type of shop to try and sell you something your car does not need because they want to make money on you. They go above and beyond to make sure you understand what you need done and give you options as to what to get done. That is something that is lost now a days. They offer gas at a pretty competitive price. They also offe full service gas which makes it super convenient. A lot of have said that the gentleman who pumps gas is very rude but let me tell you something when you have to deal with so many different walks of life every day all day long sometimes you can come off as rude but Juan is a stand up guy and looks out for all his customers and has been very kind to me anytime I go there. Stop by, get some gas and get your car serviced here If you looking for a jiffy lube. This is not the place to go. Go find a jiffy lube. If you're looking for a family oriented business that offers a great service that a great price is as a place to go and if you need emissions done this is the place to go!Services: Transmission, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Auto maintenance, Battery, Oil change

Small family run shop. Great service and they get work done efficiently. The prices are great too. Not to mention their workers are extremely friendly and make you feel welcome. As a woman who doesn t know much about cars, I have always dreaded getting work done on my car but, I have never felt taken advantage of or like I was paying more than I needed to. I will be recommending West High to everyone.

Unfortunately I couldn't reply back to your response about me giving you a 3-star rating I have so many questions but I cannot ask them all. it's just a little alarming to me that your reply was anything about me tipping the gentleman...A simple I see your rating what can we do to make it better I felt like that would have been a lot more acceptable talking about his tip and stuff was just mind blowing but since he was brought up shout out to the gentleman that did put my gas with the long hair he was very nice and very fast you have a great employee on your hands have a blessed day.

I brought my car here for some repairs and didn t have high hopes after others either said they can do the work, the qoute was too expensive or the wait time was too long. The level of service from west high service was unmatched and their attention to detail and customer service took care of me. I now feel safe and confident driving my car again and they have a customer for life now.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Oil change

Went in for a flat repair as I had a screw in my tire tread. The young man who helped me did a wonderful job! From the time I arrived to the time l left was a total of 15 minutes. Got a VIN verification here the other day. I just moved to CT and had to switch my registration. Getting the VIN verification was very easy at this location. The guys who work here were very friendly, informative and respectful. I have white seats in my Tesla and the mechanic asked me to get in to show the necessary information so he didn't dirty my seats.

This is the automotive repair shop and snow removal business you go to for honesty and integrity. There is a reason they have been in business since the early 1950's. While other businesses may schmooze you and sell you stuff you "think" you need, you will get an honest assessment and fair pricing everyday at West High. When was the last time you heard an automotive repair shop talk a customer out of making an unnecessary repair? And their fuel prices are competitive with all stations around and they are always Full Service. Or feel free to tell the attendant you want to pump it yourself. Same price.

Excellent service. Friendly and reliable. One of my favorite gas stations to go to. I don t even have to get out of my car. Love it, especially in this pandemic where you don t want to be touching everything.

Came here to do an emissions test for my job, it was quick but when I kindly asked the technician for a receipt , he pointed to the inspection report and said that was my receipt. I calmly explained I needed a written receipt for my job and he muttered a smart remark under his breathe. Very unprofessional.

Just got the emission test done for my Car. Excellent customer service...complete transparency into what they're doing with your car...you can see on TV live streaming of the mechanic working on your car. Front desk person was good to talk too.

Great service & super friendly employees!! Always fast service, and the air for tires is so easy to get to/never has a line. It s also no cost which is key when you re out of change!
