DON'T GO THERE! They are absolutely incompetent! My oil leaked, causing damage to my engine. Since then, I've been having trouble with my car and had to pay $2600 to fix parts of the engine that were damaged by the oil leak. After all that, I spent half of the day talking to the representatives, they issued me a coupon (which I will obviously never use ) and refunded me only $18. WHAT A JOKE AND WASTE OF TIME! NEVER AGAIN!

Today Jesont and Jorge helped me on my car. They had excellent customer service and made me feel safe about them doing my car. They did a great job and even helped me talk to a girl on bay 1. I got her number!!!! Will definitely be coming back!!!!!!

I showed up at Vavoline at 7:15 AM and was probably the first customer of the day and was expecting to be greeted as such. This was NOT the case. I was greeted by Dijon who was very friendly and helpful. Dylan was equally helpful in explaining the process, since it was my first time at this location. I was in and out in 20 min. I heard that this location is one of the busiest location in the US and these guys were proud of it. These guys are the kind of guys that make you want to be a return customer.

If I could give negative stars I would. Stay away from this place and Valvoline in general. They did an oil change but inserted the oil plug incorrectly and the plug came out resulting in massive damage. They will not do anything for me. They are denying all responsibility. Oil change done in January car breaks down because of oil related issues in February - how is it not their fault. Stay Away from this place if you need to use your car.Then I get an auto response - see below. They are sorry I am disappointed in their decision to decline my claim. Not as disappointed as I am being that it is going to cost me $15k because of their mistake. WARNING STAY AWAY -THEY WILL REING YOUR CAR.

I came here to get my oil changed and had a good experience. I had to wait about 10 minutes before they were able to service me and the oil change itself took about 15 minutes. They explained everything they were going to do and asked for permission for everything. The prices were as stated on the website. Overall, a relatively quick experience with friendly staff! I will come back here for future oil changes and small car maintenance issues.

EXPENSIVE, but GOOD service. Before I came that day, I had a banging noise under the chassis of my 20-year-old SUV that often occurred when turning after a stop. I was going to get it fixed. Didn't need to after the Valvoline visit. I guess the car just needed a good fluid change/lube/radiator flush job!

Don t bring your car here!!!! I took my car to valvoline Stamford for a simple oil change. Well here s the story! Demicheal (bottomside tech) broke the bolts in the frame of the car, that hold the skid plate up. Joell and Casper (topside techs) walked down to the bottom bay to talk with demicheal. Joell comes back up trying to offer me more service. I denied his offer being the fact I just bought the car a month ago! I asked was everything alright with the car? Joell replies yes, we are just putting your skid plate back! He hands me receipt. I drive away! Get on the highway, back to Waterbury and the whole skid plate falls and burns in the road. The next morning, I call to speak to a manager. the girl who answer the phone puts Joell on the phone. Joell responds with, on the receipt we reported the skid plate bolts were missing on arrival and they will not do anything about it!!!!! When I pulled up skid plate was on the car, when I pull off it now falling dragging in the road. I will be returning to talk to a manger when I have the time!!!!! I bought full synthetic oil change for 72.99 on groupon, but the guy who did service charged me another 8 dollars. No other business ever did this to me. I would call it a scam because I did get oil change at other Valvoline locations using groupon before and they didn t charge anything additional. Also, the guy was careless and not at all friendly, kept pushing me to take other services

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! I was told that my battery needed cleaning. The photo on the left shows what it looked like after they said they cleaned my battery. Also, the same day I could NOT START MY CAR! I immediately took my car to another location to have it checked out. Photo on the right shows what my battery looked liked after another placed actually cleaned my battery. The other place had to tighten up parts so my car would start again.

I recently visited the Valvoline in Stamford, Connecticut, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received. Bryan, a member of the top side crew, truly went the extra mile to assist me. Had a very positive experience. I was able to get oil change and other services done. I would like to thank your Employee by the name of Remi that provided me excellent service. Not to many auto repair shops will be honest and and provide you with explanations as to why you need a service and how it benefits your vehicle but this Valvoline on East Main St. in Stamford does and that s exactly why I will be back. My first experience was really positive. I was greeted by Jose and Sam helped me for the rest of my visit. Both gentlemen were friendly and customer service oriented. I use this Valvoline for oil changes during the winter months as its to cold outside to do myself. I recently went in for oil change and everything seemed as normal. Upon driving home I felt a slight vibration that was not present before my oil change. I decided to pull the dipstick once I got home (about 5 miles of driving) and realized my oil was Black as if it were never changed at all, and overfilled. I had 0 confidence in what they did to my car and decided to Re-do the oil change myself.Upon redoing the oil change myself I drained about 9qts of oil! (My Car takes 6) Pictured below is the remaining 1.5 pans or 3qts of oil after filling the oil I drained into the empty 6 qts my car took. Also pictured below is the dipstick Still showing over after I took an entire pan out.* How did I wind up with about 9tqs of oil in my truck that takes 6 (Your not even close)* I have a strong suspicion they never drained all the oil, or just topped off with some new oil. After being to this location many times a have a sense of about how long it should take when dispensing oil, and they were there WAY To Long!.* I know you cant 100% go off the color of the oil but that oil looks very dark for only 5 miles of driving.Do yourself a favor don't go to this location.Service: Oil change

Sam was great! Explained what I needed. His manager and team had me out in less than 30 minutes, and I was back on my way! Oil light came on in the middle of a road trip, so was super anxious. I had a great experience from beginning to end. I was so surprised at how kind, friendly, and helpful every single employee I interacted with was. I don t know much about cars but Robert was very patient and explained the service in a way that I would understand. I also was helped by Kevin, Jeremy, and the manager Jorge.They also checked my tire pressure, lights, AND wipers! Seems it s standard here but I have not experienced that at another location before! Each one of them made me feel comfortable and at ease with their professionalism and reassuring communication. Went there for oil change. They open the splash shield (a large piece of metal covering the bottom of the car) and didnt properly put the screws back. I ended up dragging the dropped cover on the floor driving until two weeks later some one in the parking lot told me my car was making huge noises when moving that i noticed the problem! Worst quality of service ever.edit so i read some of the reviews here and after 5 mins i already read 2 more people complaining the same problem. The splash shield was not put back properly. You go in for oil change and what you get is damage to your car.

My car dealer said it would be a 2 or 3 hour wait for an oil change so I went to Oil Star instead. 15 minutes and I didn't even get out of the car and got an oil and filter change. The employees seemed to have a lot of fun working together. It was simple and I would highly recommend

Went in to get an oil change and some anti freeze and was charged 120 alone for them putting anti freeze in my car. He absolutely did not ask me if I wanted to get a whole flush and when i went back to ask why i was charged so much the worker was rude and said i didn t let him explain what the work being done was. During this time of the work being done he was coming to ask if i had a boyfriend instead of explaining to me what he was doing to my car. They took advantage of the fact that I was a female with no car knowledge so they could overcharge me 120.Service: Oil change
