I had the wonderful luck to meet Cassandra Cardona (sales consultant) from Stamford Hyundai. She is very responsive and got back to me really fast. Was able to explain to me everything about the different models of Hyundai, and find a car that suited my needs. That happened to be a 2023 Hyundai Elantra in electric blue. The whole process is so seamless, she s very patient and friendly. Cassandra truly embodies the spirit of service excellence and is a very amazing woman. I couldn t be happier with my purchase!

The people at Stamford Hyundai make it a great place to buy a car. From Anthony, our sales person, to Mike, the finance person, everyone we met at the dealership was friendly, courteous, helpful and knowledgable. Our experience purchasing a new Santa Fe was pleasant and stress-free. It's not a fancy dealership, but it's obvious customer satisfaction is their main concern.

I have been servicing my vehicle at Stamford Hyundai since 2021, and this has been my most WOW experience to date. At every point the service was courteous, pleasant and efficient. I got the impression that I was important and what I had to do was important to them. From the outside reception, inside consultants, drivers - ALL. In addition, I m noticing for the first time the improved lookOf the department. I m impressed. Its apparent emphasis has been placed on improving customer service. It is working. Keep it up!

This dealer is great! I test drove an Elantra in New Jersey but my local dealership didn t have the color I wanted. I searched for the car in a 100 mile radius and found it at Stamford Hyundai. Sales person Frank Flutie sent me photos of the car in the color and trim I wanted and provided me with accurate pricing over the phone and emailed a price sheet . The following morning I drove up from NJ and everything was as promised. I highly recommend Frank and the dealership. John, the finance manager, was also excellent. No pressure. They are in the business to move metal - not mess around with customers and give them false promises. Cannot go wrong w Stamford Hyundai!

Tried to buy a used car from here. They have lower prices because their doc fees are $1299. So the low price brings you in the door and the doc fee makes the deal no better than anyone else.They also offered me 8.5k on a trade in when other dealerships offered me 12k.They are also careless. I worked with Jonathan and when he opened the truck of the car in the garage it went right into one of the stone supports and put a scratch on the back. I asked if they could work on the price at all and he said it s 100% non-negotiable . After scratching the trunk doorHonestly I wouldn t recommend anyone come here for used carsEdit: In response to their response: I went looking, the doc fees are not advertised as they claim. I searched the page for key words even and numbers and nothing yielded the fees. Could they be there, maybe, but if i couldn't find them they must be intentionally not advertised well. Let it be known, no comment on the carelessness

My son was on a road trip 200 miles from home when he had an issue with his car. I called Stamford Hyundai and they said he could bring the car right over. Upon arrival at the dealership, they did a quick diagnostic and determined the issue which was pretty major. Knowing my son was from out of town and stuck, John, the service manager, took care of the issue quickly and even checked and determined the issue was covered under warranty. Yes, my son had to find accommodations while it was getting fixed but I am grateful to Stamford Hyundai for taking care of things so quickly, communicating with me regarding the issues and getting my son back on the road.

Stamford Hyundai provided me amazing customer service and a great deal on my very first lease! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and welcomed very kindly and offered something to drink. My sales rep Max S. was the best and would highly recommend you him to anyone!!! I walked in, told him what I was looking for and he found me the perfect SUV packed with everything I needed and more. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all of my 100s of questions which made me feel at ease with the entire process. Anyone looking for a great deal, personalized customer serve, and an easy seamless process, go to Stamford Hyundai!

Even with the high conveyance fees, this dealership, and Max in particular, is outstanding. Max was patient, helped me get a good deal on the price I wanted for my Genesis, and followed up with me about the car afterwards. Even after signing forms, Max helped me get a lower price due to some discounts Genesis had online. That conveyance fee definitley sucks, but to be honest: even with it, I'd come back here as I felt Max and the rest of this dealership's salespeople are honest and not trying to take advantage of you. I still got a great deal and they took my leased Tuscson to boot. I wish I bought my Tucson from these guys too. I highly recommend Stamford Hyundai and I'm glad I bought from here.One criticism: they need to build a seperate Genesis dealership (and put Max there). It's definitley a Hyundai dealership in terms of look and feel, and us Genesis owners would love an experience more like Lexus, BMW, and Mercedes where you feel like you're buying a luxury car from the second you walk in. That's a minor quibble tho: Max is excellent and so is Stamford Hyundai - good salespeople and honest financing. Very happy to buy my GV70 here and I encourage you to do the same, whether Hyundai or Gensesis. 5 stars.Edit: they sold me a car with one non working license light and it's been horrible trying to reach their service department to recifty. Very disappointing.

I recently had another frustrating encounter with the Hyundai Stamford service department, and unfortunately, it s becoming a recurring issue. Every time I visit, the system seems to be down, resulting in prolonged wait times and inconvenience. When I get to my appointments, I am told I will be without my car for over a day. When I bring up an alternative option, like a loaner, I am instantly denied. My vehicle is telling me it s not safe to drive.This lack of preparedness and foresight on their part reflects poorly on the overall efficiency and customer service of the establishment. It would be nice for them to call me before I get to the dealership and communicate before coming to Stamford. It s disheartening to consistently encounter such setbacks, making it challenging to trust in the reliability of their service department.

I bought my Palisade in August 23 from Max and needed an urgent oil change/maintenance in December 23 and Max was able to squeeze us in right away! Our car was quickly taken care of. Max doesn t just stop when the car is sold, he continues to provide amazing service long after! I recommend anyone to ask for Max at Stamford Hyundai if you re interested in a new Hyundai.

Terrible experience terrible customer service and will not honor their original services offered when the vehicle was purchased in 2018. How do you offer something then just choose to discontinue it. I get no longer offering it to new customer but customers you already sold a vehicle under those circumstances should still be honored. This is our second vehicle purchased here and it will be our last. Do not trust anyone who will not honor what they rightfully owe you.

The salesman Rob ran my credit score, before I went to look at the car, during my visit, and AFTER. Mind you I did not consent to a credit check as I told him I was paying for the car outright and he said they just needed my SSN with the deposit to secure the car? That should ve been the first red flag but I didn t see it at the time.Also I did not end up purchasing the car in the end due to pushy tactics as in trying to force you to buy an extended warranty and having to walk away from a purchase. LOOK.AT.THE.REVIEWS.If you are getting car parts, service, or sales this place just can t seem to get it right because they are dishonest to customers or potential customers. You are going to waste your time and money. The manager is going to reply to this like they do with all the other low star reviews and do nothing!! Same way they did nothing when I called about it. An absolute nightmare.

This location's service department doesn't prioritize their customers. Have had an issue with my car since last year and was told they would contact me to address it. Nobody ever reached out and when I've called them (repeatedly), it's a ghost town. It's as if they don't want the business or couldn't care less about safety and dependability. Really disappointing.**UPDATE**Since posting this, Chyna has reached out to me to rectify the situation. She expressed genuine concern/empathy, and has gone above and beyond to be of service. It feels good to know that good customer service isn't a lost concept. Thank you to all involved!

DO YOUR RESEARCH, KNOW YOUR CREDIT, AND REQUEST AN ITEMIZED BREAKDOWN OF WHAT YOUR PAYING FOR BEFORE STEPPING FOOT HERE OR ANY SALES FLOOR.I went in knowing exactly what car I was aiming to purchase along with what I was willing to pay. My sales rep Anthony R. went to his team and came back with three quite exorbitant payment options. In disbelief, I asked for a breakdown on the projected monthly payments. To my surprise, he added THREE warranties that I DID NOT consent to nor was even informed about (YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO DECLINE UNNECESSARY WARRANTIES PEOPLE).After politely asking him and his sales manager Hensley B. to remove them, I walked away with the vehicle I wanted at a fair price ($15,000 difference in my case). Yes buying a car can be exciting, but please do your research and stand your ground as you can easily be taken advantage of leaving you to pay the price in the long-run.Leaving two stars because of the additional time wasted on such nonsense. When I was promised a full tank of gas and a spare key, it was like pulling teeth for their team to honor my sales guys (Anthony R.) word as he told me to return on a day that he called out of work.Happy shopping folks!

Misleading practices. Beware of Rob. The first clue was his long "honesty pitch," about how the numbers are the numbers and he would be straight forward with us. This went on for a bit. Next came the warranty pitch. We had driven two hours, thanks to the car being listed on their partner website in Danbury as well as Stamford. This vehicle was advertised as "certified used" with very low mileage. After test driving and deciding to purchase with cash, was told, "we can't sell it because it hasn't been certified yet." Personally, it seemed Rob wasn't happy that we were paying cash and not financing and that we didn't want any additional warranties. Dealership false advertised. This car was already posted under their "certified used." We walked out with, "I'll call you first thing Monday, at 9:30 am." Seemed like there should be no problem with it being certified, as it was already listed as such on their website with only 8,000 miles. I followed up Sunday only to be connected to Rob again and he was less friendly, actually sounded kind of rude and annoyed I bothered him to follow up on the car. There was no phone call at 9:30 a.m. Monday, so I called sales again and was told, Rob will call you back in 5 minutes. Finally, hours later I received an email the car did not pass certification. Rob did not even have the courtesy to call, but emailed. So much for his straight forward honesty pitch. Shady practice, terrible sales person and mis-represention online. Be aware of false advertising. Will not recommend this dealership or using Rob as your sales guy. Be careful of their bait and switch scam. Hyundai Stamford lores you in with low prices online only to find out they prefer financing and purchase of their warranties. Online car prices or cars are not what you actual see and may not even be available or there.

I recently purchased a car from Stamford Hyundai and had the pleasure of dealing with Sabi, one of their salespersons. Sabi was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. He was patient, answering all of my questions, and went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable with my purchase, explaining all the features of the car. The entire process, from browsing to finalizing the deal, was smooth and hassle-free, thanks to Sabi. I am extremely satisfied with my new car and the price I paid for it. I would highly recommend Sabi from Stamford Hyundai to anyone looking for a new vehicle. His service is top-notch, and he makes car buying a pleasant experience.

Horrible experience. They don t pickup the phone in service or parts. Left numerous emails, voicemails to see when my part came in. I only received assistance 3 months later when I contacted Hyundai corporate and they got a hold of the dealership (corp also said dealer didn t pickup the phone). My part had been sitting there for weeks. It wasn t over: it took waiting two hours at the dealership and coming back a day after before I got the part.Chaos. Great experience when buying my car here, the opposite with service. I ll be buying my next car elsewhere.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Stamford Hyundai and in particular with their salesman Max Shaikh. Save yourself time, money and energy and just go somewhere else where your needs will be met professionally and you won t need to sue to obtain what was promised to you in a binding contract.On Friday, November 10, 2023 I purchased a used 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe with Stamford Hyundai. The purchase agreement stated The mileage as shown on the odometer of the motor vehicle to be purchased is 16,613 . I went back to Stamford Huyndai to pick the vehicle up on November 18, 2023 and drove it home, excited to be the proud owner of this great looking SUV. On the way home, I realized that the odometer did not indicate 16,613 miles, but rather 20,169 miles. I thought to myself no big deal, I will let Max know and he will fix it . I texted him and he initially ignored me completely, but when I followed up, he had no other choice but to respond and wrote May of (sic) just not been updated since that car was a loaner. Don t think it affects anything . I apologize the car was listed online with 16k while it was still being used as a loaner. Your warranty still ends in the same period regardless of what mileage was on the car when you bought it. When I let him know I actually cared that the car I purchased had over 20,000 miles and not 16,613 miles as indicated in the purchase agreement I signed and wanted to be compensated for it, Max said he would discuss with management. He then completely stopped responding to me, even after multiple attempts on my part. I am left with no other options than contemplating legal proceedings against Stamford Hyundai. Do yourself a favour, avoid the kind of unprofessional service I received at Stamford Hyundai and in particular from Max Shaikh and just go somewhere else.

I've enjoyed doing business here. Pricing are fair, the buying process is easy, and I left with a great deal on my new car. My seller Cassandra is the best, this is my second time using her services. Ugh. Buying experience was not too terrible but there were various add-ons, only just small enough to keep me from walking out. But the service is just awful. The 2023 Santa Fe stops in the middle of intersections and won't restart for indeterminate time - we have had to deal with the police multiple times, including in the middle of Manhattan. Took it in once, twice, three times - they have it the last time for a week before they even look at it. Not interested in our video evidence of the problem. Nobody there wants to use their brain, just follow the playbook. "Can't find anything." They still have the car... AVOID.

The Stamford Hundai Service department are a stand out A + team. They are warm and friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. Jay Strassberg, the service director is fair, honest and really compassionate to the needs of the customer. I highly recommend the Stamford service location!

A couple horrible experiences with the service department at Stamford Hyundai - poor communication, oil changes that should take a couple of hours that turned into them having my car for a couple of days, etc. I would save yourself the headache and go to a different location.Responding to the "response from the owner" - I was told from your service department that I needed to replace my windshield before they could do the recall, so the fact that me doing that "voided my warranty" is a perfect example as to why so many other reviews state that all your dealership cares about is scamming people.If there is a chance that a windshield cracks when removed for the resealing process, you should have the parts and the technicians you need to make that fix that day. And if you can't make that happen, and it takes 7 days to repair, then getting your customers a loaner vehicle for the inconvenience should be a priority.

I was able to work with Sabi very recently when buying a new Sonata. He was extremely communicative, helpful and kind. I d come back to Stamford Hyundai simply to work with Sabi again!! He made sure I was comfortable with my choices and was aware of every detail both positive and negative. :-)

Literally the worst experience I've ever had a car dealership. I brought the car back multiple times for the same repair. On one of my visits, car came back not repaired but with something new broken. Waited five plus hours for a repair that I was told would take 2 hours. The service people were all friendly and seemed to be trying but it's not enough for a second star.

Jeff was awesome at Stamford Hyundai. Very friendly and prompt and even though he might be newer in his career he was very responsive and quick to answer every question I had. I just bought a 2021 Honda Civic and could not be more happy with the honest and dependable service. Jeff and all the mangers there are great at what they do. A very responsive team at Stamford Hyundai.
