Visited on Sunday 2/18. After asking for $20 of regular the pump attendant acted dumb and filled my tank totaling over $45. After asking why I got over $45 instead of $20, the attendant gave me the receipt, didn t respond but instead laughed and walked away. Great customer service! Never going back even though convenient!! :)

We love Long Ridge Service. They are the best! I can always trust them to be honest and to do the repair perfectly so I feel safe driving my car.

I drove up to Long Ridge Service from downtown Stamford this morning and only had less than a half hour to get my emissions done. I took the chance before work. What a pleasant experience! I only had to wait 10 minutes until the mechanic drove my car into the bay and conducted the test. Very courteous service as well. I originally went to Goodyear on East Main Street in Stamford 2x!! I went to get the test done at 8:15 am . , no one at the front desk for 10 minutes, finally, a reluctant rep comes to the front desk, could care less, and the front desk rep told me they don't start taking cars for emissions until 9! Then I showed up at 9 and was told there was a 35 minute wait at least because they had a car in the bay and could not do any testing. I never had an issue 3 years ago when I went but now, customer service has significantly deteriorated! I can only imagine how the treat their regular customers for car repairs..

I have lived in the area for 20+ years and have had most of the servicing done on all my cars here. The mechanics are top notch and are truly a full service shop. I have found their pricing honest and fair (not cheap). They remember the work they have done on my specific cars sometimes years later. Best of all, when they feel they don't have the experience to work on a particular car (old mini cooper), they were upfront and honest about it. I will continue to bring my cars here for servicing.

Buyer Beware - I was heading to Maine and stopped in for gas. They have gas attendants and I asked the man to fill it up with regular. He said, no need to get out of your car. He also washed my rear window. He gave me the receipt and he filled my car up with Premium and also made a mess of my rear window and car. The water was greasy and dirty...streaked everything and was overcharged for gasoline. Bad business practice Long Ridge.

small shop with good service. The guys are courteous, quick and don't try to oversell you. I've had my cars serviced here for quite a few years. Tom is taciturn but precise and helpful. I don't check the gas prices against other stations, I'd rather them stay in business and keep such a place. Shop local. I've even started getting my tires here against Town Fair a few miles away, which was my habitual place.

Emission testing - I was the 1st in line and it went very smooth and quick. The staff is very friendly. You will have to pay cash for the emission test.

Would give 0 stars but not possible, very trash mechanic with little to no concern about the cars they work on or what condition they come out, save yourself some time and money, don't use them.

Called to ask if they were doing emissions testing and was told they are.Upon arriving, there was a sign saying no emissions.I wasted time and effort to be told bad info and drive for nothing.

I hve been going herr for 4 years. I appreciate these guys. They are very courteous and very professional. They never keep anyone waiting. I dont know how they manage it because they get a lot of people. But everyone is treated very respectfully and expediently. Thanks guys. Lp

Got the Connecticut Emissions Test done here. Was in and out in just 20 minutes. But it's cash only for the test. Nearest ATM is a dive away.

Tom's been great repairing my cars for well decades actually. I think they're honest, he doesn't make up bogus extra repairs.

Great staff who are nice and knowledgeable. They're always working on a complex project. Smaller, well-equipped and qualified shops like this are a rarity, and I'm glad to see this one around.

Stopped at this full service station for gas- my vehicle takes 15 gal completely empty- I still had 1/4 tank- took 16GAL!!!!- and the inside smelled terrible of gas for an hour- AVOID this place-
