Ct Quality Transmissions did a wonderful job on my 1999 Honda Odyssey and at a very reasonable price. They do a one week follow up check to make sure everything is working properly. Peter was a pleasure to work with !

I came to CT Quality Transmissions with a failing transmission for my 2018 Odyssey. Everywhere I asked, I was told it's impossible to fix and that I will need a replacement. Here, the owner took time to find the best solution and found a way to rebuild it. Now it works like new - I feel I was treated fairly and the service was honest and top notch.

Absolutely great work. I couldn t ask for anything more. They did a phenomenal job with my transmission, and were very quick. They also worked very well with my third party warranty insurance. I definitely recommend this shop, so not second guess it whatsoever!! There s no point looking for another shop when this one does an incredible job in a timely manner and will constantly keep you updated on your job. Your vehicle is in great hands when you leave it here!! Trust me!!

Boris and his team were extremely helpful, timely, honest, and knowledgeable. They did a great job with my car and have expressed that I am welcome to bring it back if there are any remaining problems. Boris also helped me with a great referral to get emissions testing done. Would definitely recommend this shop and would use again!

Vinny has done a very quality job and come through for me over the years every time I needed help to fix my car problems . The first time was for a major transmission rebuild, second time for a window that wouldn't roll up, third time to replace a brake line and very recently for a muffler and brake pads and rotors. I am very satisfied with the work he has performed and glad to have found him. I would go back to him again and highly recommend him to others for their car issues.

I've been going to Vinny for a long time for repairs on my Xterra, I appreciate the fact that he has always been honest about what I need repaired and what I do NOT need repaired on my car. After going to Nissan for the 3,000 mile oil changes and hearing some scare tactic almost every time I go there it's nice to be able to go somewhere where I can ask questions and get an educated, thorough response about what is really going on and how long I REALLY have to fix it. Vinny is clearly passionate about his craft and it has reflected in my experience with him. The peace of mind I get from Vinny is very much appreciated.

Vinnie is not just a mechanic. Figuratively speaking, he's a MAGICIAN! Not only does he have over 40 years of experience, but he makes sure your car is fixed and on the road at the drop of a hat, and for an EXTREMELY fair price. Vinnie will literally go the extra mile to ensure that everything is perfect. I brought in my Chevy Traverse with a transmission issue that my local dealer and even Meineke couldn't fix (unless it involved installing a completely new transmission). Meineke referred me to Vinnie, and I'm glad they did. I expected my car to be in his garage for 3-4 weeks, but he had everything ready in just one week. He even took the time to fix other issues in addition to rebuilding the transmission.This was my very first visit with him, but it will most definitely NOT be my last! You, sir, deserve more business.

Great service & FAIR price.I get asked a lot "Are they Expensive ?" Regarding auto mechanics in general.The short answer is yes. Auto repair isn't ever what I'd consider cheap.If it is cheap, it's probably poor quality.I'm in the trades & I'm not cheap either. Likewise, I consider my work to be of good quality. FAIR is the answer you are looking for.I know Rob personally & I'm confident in the shop's overall work ethic.Services: Transmission, Brakes

Thank You Bori not only was a pleasure meeting you but your services was excellent let me tell you I ve taken my vehicle to the Volvo in Old Tarrytown & The Bronx then I took it to Amoco all of them gave me the runaround to get a gear shift sensor put in basically is all about the money for these big name brand shops but Bori he is a class by himself forget coming to the Bronx for work done on my car I ll drive to Connecticut and have Bori be my Full Time Mechanic Thank You Very Much his shop is where is at

I brought my 1974 BMW 2002 to Vinnie when I couldn t get it to downshift. I was worried that I was going to have to spend thousands getting it fixed. Vinnie put my car on the lift as soon as I arrived and had it fixed 45 minutes later.Vinnie is extremely knowledgable and does good work. I m glad that I brought my car to him.

Vinnie, thanks very much for bringing my old, beat up MDX back to life. The suspension and brakes feel great and the heat has never been hotter. And, thanks for helping me get the tires I wanted. Vincent can not be trusted. He made good impression ar the beginning. I thought of him as reliable proffesional man. I asked him to give me written estimate of repair in advance, but he didn t . He demanded 40% above agreed price, when he finished the job. I asked him to reduce it-NO WAY! So, I told him, that I was going to leave my car for one more week to be able to pay the higher amount. Vincent got very angry: threatened me to harm the car and also to sell it... WOW!

Had a transmission installed for my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500, Hemi Sport. The transmission was installed promptly after delivery. These guys are trully transmission PROs. Moreover, prices were fair when compared to most NYC shops i have been too and the customer service was great!I will definitely use the shop again for more services. I further recommend Vinnie s shop for other big or small transmission repairs and diagnostics if you are in the Stamford area seeking automotive repairs.

Vinny treated me like a family member. I brought him an old Dodge Dart and he immediately knew more about it than I did. He walked me through different possibilities and went above and beyond to get me the fixes and upgrades I wanted. Vinny is by far the most reliable, most honest mechanic in all of Connecticut.

Last week, I got stuck on an entrance ramp to The Merrit Parkway. Stepped on the gas, the engine raced, and I went no where. Reverse didn't work either. I was sure my transmission blew. I got towed to A. Ct Quality Transmission where they could have taken me and sold me a new transmission. Instead, Bob and Vinnie were great. Bob said transmission is fine, broke an axle. Less than $500.00. Dodged a bullet. These guys are honest and I learned extremely knowledgeable as well with decades of experience. You will not be disappointed.

Vinnie is a genius solution to the problem that my infinity fx 35 car had that neither in the dealer itself knew what was happening to him and you found the problem that the computer had. tank you very much for fixing our car for giving us a good price and very honest we recommend you are the best.

Great place! very knowledgeable and helpful, Vinny is a very pleasant person to work with. If i need to get my vehicle worked on, i bring it to A Connecticut Quality Transmission! You do not have to believe me (definitely don't believe these other crappy reviews, Try them out and find out for yourself how great they are.

Needed a new transmission in my 2003 Chevy Blazer. Finished in a timely fashion and at a reasonable price. Truck feels great now . Vinny the owner was pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended!

Very unprofessional. Last Thursday I spoke with vinny about my transmission I gave full detail on what was wrong with my car and he told me he wouldn t be able to see me until monday(today). He told me to call him and let him know what would be a good time to come check my car. I called him this morning to remind him and he said he can t help me with my problem. Very unprofessional if u specialize in transmissions I don t understand what the problem was.

Terrible, brought my car in with a skipping transmission. Asked "Vinnie" to do a fluid flush and fill to see if the filter was clogged and bad fluid. $150 bucks later he says I need transmission cooler lines. He ordered them after topping off the transmission fluid, "gave you a little extra" brought the car back the following weekend to drop off and thank god he wasn't there. He called me loud and angry that I hadn't left the car. Got me so mad decided to do the lines myself, but when I went under to check them and the fluid level, which is a real pain on an 07 Chevy Equinox btw, the lines looked fine. Brought it another shop and sure enough the cooler lines are fine but the torque converter is shot and throwing fluid out through the bell housing.BOTTOM LINE THIS GUY IS A REAL RIP OFF CON ARTIST DON"T TRUST A WORD HE SAYS

Always a pleasant visit at A CT Quality Transmission they gave me an estimate that was very reasonable, repaired my 99 volkswagen passat as well as my mothers new hyundai sonata, Vinnie was very helpful and gave me specific details on what needed to be done and i can assure anyone that needs to have their car or truck looked at that this shop is a honest and reasonable i recommend it to all my family and friends !!
