I would recommend Stafford Mechanical to anyone after our experience. Gary helped get someone to our house fairly quick and the tech who came was kind, professional, and honest. I would welcome this team to come back to our house for any future needs. The price was reasonable and much better than the quotes received from competitors. Thank you so much to Gary and the tech for taking care of us. We can happily wash our toddlers again with warm water :) Thank you to Bob as well for being very responsive and helpful. Nothing short of 5 star service.

I had an error code, low coolant, on my mini split unit. Set up an appointment on the first call for 7 days later. On the day of the appointment, the tech arrived on time and quickly found the leak. The tech made repairs and recharged the system. The system is now performing better than ever. The job took 3 hours. I am very happy with the price and results.

I worked with Greg at Stafford Mechanical to install a 5-zone ductless system in my home. The team was nothing short of superb!! My wife and I are extremely happy with our new install. Just in time for the heat wave.The team at Stafford Mechanical was professional, and guided us through the entire process. Will definitely be using them again for any future work. Stafford Mechanical was one of three companies I called for a cooling solution for my home. I was undecided between central AC added to my existing furnace or a ductless mini-split. After talking to Greg, we went with a 18k BTU single zone mini-split to cool approximately 1k square feet. Greg spent my money as though it was his own and didn't try to oversell me. I have zero complaints from beginning to end and the system functions exactly as I had hoped. I would strongly recommend these guys to anyone.Service: Ductless heating & A/C services

Stafford Mechanical came highly recommended to me by a friend who had just built a beautiful new home. I did my research when I general contracted my home and these guys earned my business due not only to their competitive price but more importantly their professionalism, punctuality, knowledge and workmanship. I never had to wait on them and they always kept me informed on the next step. Everyone who has seen the hvac system they installed in my new home has commented on how nice of a job they did. The technicians that installed my Hyper heat Mini-split system were fantastic. One issue, I never knew who I was talking to. They have a thing that Rick is Frank, Vern is Don and who knows who Sinjin is.Seriously this crew works so well together, knows their stuff and are genuinely nice guys. Very professional and knowledgeable.I am so glad I chose Stafford Mechanical for this job. The final result was beyond my expectations. Starting with my initial personable consultation with Greg, Project Manager, we were both extremely pleased with the level of professionalism and personal detail put into our proposal. We believe that the system quoted was a great value as well. The installation team of Sinjin, Nate and Elijah were equally professional and very personable. Extremely efficient crew and neat as a pin. We were impressed with the level of detail and the huge amount of work fully completed in two days! They took extra special care in our home, always wearing foot and face coverings for COVID-19 concerns. The crew were patient with my many questions and they were all a pleasure to have on my property and in my home. Greg is an effective and responsive communicator, which is huge when overseeing a project of this scope. I will gladly recommend Stafford Mechanical to anyone that requests a referral and look forward to seeing them on my street again in the future.Services: Install AC, Ductless heating & A/C services

My experience isn't complete yet. But at this point I'm convinced I chose the right A/C repair company.Local, Honorable and Talented are the three words that come to mind when thinking about these folks. Later on in the process, we noticed an oversight. Almost over night they had a Solution and a way forward.I have noticed how all the employees have the same work ethic and values. They should be proud of the talent they have. If I was an A/C technician, this place would be my dream job.

This is the second and third HVACinstallation that Stafford has completed for our church. They have been very understanding of the complexities of securing the necessary approval of the congregation involving major projects. Hired Stafford Mechanical to repair a leak in steam radiator. They charged $200 for an estimate which was never told to us up front (although they said otherwise). Get everything in writing because they are not an honest company. When we questioned the charge, we were told if we spent $1000, it would be deducted from our bill, which was never applied. Then we got another surprise bill after the tech returned to reinstall the radiator (we had our floor repaired). He and my husband carried it outside- tech was there 15 min. but we were charged 1 and 1/2 hours of labor PLUS a truck charge. Spoke to Bob about this who was VERY unprofessional on the phone with me. He basically called me a liar and continued to bully me. I'm certain that if I were a male, he would have treated me with more respect. They finally re-billed us and removed one hour labor charge. Altogether, the pipe repair cost over $1000. Even after telling Bob that I would not recommend their company, he didn't seem to care and even told me to hire my oil company for repairs. My advice: Don't hire them but if you do, get everything they say in writing and keep your wallet open!Service: Heating system repair

SMS went above and beyond the normal call of duty to assist us in replacing our ruined, 25 year old heating boiler. They hand walked me through the costs, our payment options and how to get the ball rolling on a stressful, emergency replacement.Once their team arrived, they were professional and pleasant to be around while they removed our old boiler and installed the new one. Their plumbing was top notch, the new plumbing was an improvement over the eyesore old plumbing.I hopefully do not have to deal with SMS again in our near future, but not because I was disappointed, because that would mean the new boiler lasts another 25 years and it ll be someone else s problem at that point!I would recommend them to any local business or homeowner that is looking for quality workmanship and no BS answers about what you need.Service: Heating system installation

This was truly a painless experience. Talked to Mike, from Stafford Mechanical Services, on a Thursday and had a quote the next day. The crew (Vern, Mark and Nate) started the work the following week. They were on-time, professional and the neatest group of workers I ve ever seen which was no small feat with all the blown-in insulation we had in the attic. It s a small house and they had to work in a tight attic space in a couple of the most humid days we ve had and never complained! Each worker was just as professional and friendly as the next. Rich then followed up after the work was done to ensure everything was completed to our satisfaction. I am incredibly happy and would highly recommend Stafford Mechanical Services to anyone looking to install a central air system. It was such a great experience that I will now consider them my go to for any heating and air conditioning work.

Rich at Stafford Mechanical Services is installing a complete HVAC system in our new construction home. I had the pleasure of meeting his crew. Frank, Dan and Jess (ducts) and SinJim and AJ(pipes) who are doing an incredible job. They are professional, respectful and on time during a challenging time with construction. I am one to take full advantage of 'free estimates' and so it was over a 2 year period that I had many HVAC contractors review our Heating and AC needs to provide an estimate. It was not until I found Stafford that I was satisfied that the contractor knew what I needed and could provide the services at a fair price. The installation included a new oil tank, new furnace and new AC unit. Both crews (tank and hvac) were excellent! Clearly knowledgable, profession, clean, Covid respectful..... The Sales experience and follow up were equal to all that.I would not hesitate a second to recommend Stafford Mechanical.Services: Heating system installation, Install thermostat, Install AC

We received excellent service from Stafford Mechanical. Greg helped us plan our ductless system, and was always available to assist with the process and answer questions. Sinjin went the extra mile in constructing the system so drainage hoses were less conspicuous and located in a preferred location. He also clearly explained how to operate and maintain the cooling system. The excellent quality of service was greatly appreciated!

Sinjin and Matt did a great job. The crew showed up on time to disconnect my very old Air Conditioner System (AC) and install a new (AC). They checked to make sure it was operating correctly and before leaving they made sure everything was pickup up, leaving no messes. Excellent company & very knowledgeable hard working crew. I highly recommend people hiring this company to handle your air conditioner & furnace needs. Can also make appointment with them to do the yearly inspection/cleaning of your units.

The Mini Split install team that Greg Cyr oversees arrived on time & got the job done in two days as promised. They were very knowledgeable, and the lead tech, Sinjin, was excellent. I Highly recommend Stafford Mechanical Services Inc. for sales & installation. I will be calling them for service on my main AC system too!

I have used Stafford Mechanical for service since 2013 for all my HVAC. The company is very professional and knowledgeable. I needed to replace my 18 year old oil boiler, and they quoted me the best price compared to other companies in the area. I would highly recommend them for any of your HVAC service. Bob the owner and the service crew are a pleasure to work with.

We had a rough week losing our well pump and boiler within the span of 3 days. All this at the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Due to excellent previous experiences with Stafford Mechanical, I decided to consult with them for a new boiler. Originally Nick came out and diagnosed my leaking boiler as a "money pit" and after 30+ years informed me it was time for a replacement. No surprise to me I let Nick know my thoughts and requests relative to a new heating system. I later spoke with Bob about my options and being in the month of March was not clear of "Old Man Winter". Bob and the team of Stafford Mechanical went above and beyond to accommodate my families needs and never tried to gauge my wallet. In addition,to their main concern to respect to my needs/requests. Once the design layout was agreed upon Stafford Mechanical sent out 4-5 team members to make sure the job got done efficiently, professionally and in a timely fashion. Especially in the tail end of Winter and in the heart of this Covid-19 pandemic. Major props to team at Stafford Mechanical and coming to our aid. Will absolutely recommend them for anyone in need of their services...thanks again!!!!!

Recently had Stafford Mechanical install central air into an existing home. They were very conscientious when deciding where vents were going to be placed as well as the condenser unit. I can't say enough good about their employees, especially Vern and Adam. They arrived when they said they would be there, were thoughtful when coming in and out of the house and mostly were wonderful when dealing with my three dogs being nosey and checking to see what they were doing. We are very pleased with the work and would highly recommend Stafford Mechanical.

I had just arrived home after a trip and noticed I had a problem with my furnace. I called Stafford mechanical told them I had no heat in the house they said they would get someone to soon as possible. It was only a couple hours before someone was here. He did everything he could including stay a little longer to get the heat going again. I will call them from now on the tech that helped was GREAT. So thank you Stafford mechanical and thanks to Nick for helping out. Brad.

I've had nothing but good experiences when Service Technician Nick has come to my house. He came out yesterday to clean my oil boiler. He did a fine job at that, but also found another problem with my switching relay/thermostat(Nest). Thanks to him, I swapped the thermostat and now it takes a shorter time to heat up my house and I won't prematurely burn out the relay. Thanks Nick

We had gotten 30 years of service out of our old heat pump, but it suddenly died. I phoned Stafford Mechanical that afternoon, and the next day AJ was at our home taking measurements and giving us an estimate. They fit us quickly into their already crowded schedule, and did the work in less than two days, as they promised. AJ is an excellent foreman who answered patiently my many questions. Sinjin was particularly friendly and an excellent electrician. I highly recommend Stafford Mechanical.

Guys from Stafford Mechanical starting with meeting with Greg and work performed by Joe and Sinjin was top notch. Installation was very good, Joe explained everything and was very patient with my 20 month old son when he was trying to help. Have already highly recommended to a coworker.

Stafford Mechanical installed a new boiler and water heater in our home in Ellington, and we couldn't be more satisfied. The technicians were knowledgeable, tidy and polite. We especially appreciated the attentiveness from Bob Polmatier back at the office. He answered all our questions and then some. We intend to use them going forward for all our mechanical needs.
