Traveling for work I needed an oil change so I came here, and Matt my technician was very knowledgeable and professional. He did a thorough check of my fluids and my engine air filter and tire pressure. If I lived here, this would be my go to place. Props to Matt, guys like this is why businesses have a great reputation. 5 stars

I recommend if you want a proper service never go to the place. They somehow managed to make the hole on the oil pan bigger and blamed the previous place where i went which is also a valvoline branch.I had no issue of any leakage or anything before going for a oil change and during the oil change the hole suddenly got bigger its a joke.Then they said i had to get my vehicle out of the property and i had to tow the car from there to a workshop. Even when i claimed that it was their fault they blamed it on the car as it had a mileage of 200,000 and they said they are not responsible for damage to oil pan if the car has more than 100,000 miles on it and it turns out the previous owner had the oil pan replaced once so it was a new one.Now my car is in the shop and i have to get an uber to work and that s costing me a lot of money and on top of that i have to pay for fixing the car which turns out also cost a lot.My time energy and money is wasted because of lack of professionalism from the people working there.

Terrible service didn t tighten drain plug lost oil damaged engine. Don t stand behind there work. Denied they did anything wrong even tho I have pic of oil running out from under car. Had expensive repairs due to there negligence go to reputable mechanic only! Never again the convenience is not worth it!matt at southington local lying to protect his kids that he has working for them. Takes no responsibility for leaving oil plug not sucured properly or the damage that was caused by me leaking oil and caused damage. Do not ever go there Won t even admit to leak as u can clearly see in pictures. Don t ever use them or any volvoline. Dishonest and poorly operated ! update contracted Tyler talked to me like a child no resolve whatsoever. What a horrible experience all around. Never ever again will I deal with such substandard care that I received at Southington valvoline I m out $600 to repair there mistake stay away

I don t know who is in charge of hiring but this valvoline always has the absolute NICEST people working. I ve been here a few times and there are always the nicest and most polite young men. I don t feel intimidated or like they are trying to scam me, which I have felt at another valvoline in Danbury. The gentleman helping me is named Dean and I hope he gets a Christmas bonus. I also hope his parents are proud! They were also quick and efficient. Will be returning.

The manager was drunk or on something. He had put milk in my oil tank when I confonted him he said Milk does a body good so why not a car? I left in anger and disappointment.

I made the mistake of using Valvoline back in May. My car has been slowly dripping oil since then. I have kept an eye on it and topped off as necessary knowing I would do the next change. Pictures show the proof. There was no crush washer and the bolt was on way way to tight which still couldn t stop the drip. Avoid and stop trusting your car to other people if possible.Service: Oil change

It is always expensive, but it is a convenient place to go to drive up and get an oil change. They make it easy, although I do reject the additional services they tend to suggest as I find it a little fishy always, but they're just doing their jobs.

It was my first time going to Valvoline.I am very pleased with the service that I recieved there.I went for an oil change but got way more done than expected because my car needed the services.Jay and his team were very professional, fast, efficient and courteous.I liked that I got to stay in my car the whole time while it was being serviced.Jay explained everything very well and even showed me some of the things that were wrong with my car, and being able to stay in the car and see what he was showing me and all the servicing being done was great and it was very helpful to be able to see what had to be done while he was explaining it.There were some services that Jay said they could do but didn't necessarily need to be done yet but they would need to be done very soon and he didn't pressure me to do them it was just the opposite which made me very comfortable with the whole process, but I elected to do them anyway.All in all, I was very pleased and satisfied with Jay and his team at Valvoline I will recommend Valvoline to all my family and friends and I will be back in the future. Thanks again to Jay and his team.

My second visit to this location because my first experience was positive. I was happy to have Jason greet me again as well. He s very methodical when explaining services and offering recommendations. He listens to my concerns and talks to me, not over me. The whole crew works very well together.I was happy to see them protect my car s paint when they needed to lean under the hood. They re very efficient. I didn t feel rushed and believe they keep my best interest in mind. Thank you to entire crew!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

I had brought my vehicle there and it has been a mistake. One time they didn't seal the oil pan correctly and all the oil came out..I brought it back and they fixed the issue and decided I would let it go because it's convenient . Recently they changed the oil and said my gasket was leaking. I brought it to the dealership and they showed me the oil filter was not even tight and it was the wrong one. To expensive I'll find a better place to get my oil changed. I asked for air in my tires and never got it. They check everything else that you don't want them to.

Awesome experience. Every single Valvoline I've ever been to has been a great experience. If you need a fast oil change with some of the most friendly people around vaveline is where you need to go. If at all possible this is the only place I stop. Doesn't matter what city or town I am in every Valvoline runs very smoothly. Thank you guys again for everything you do to keep my work vehicle running so well.

I just have to leave a review for Cyrus A. He was professional, polite, easy going, had a great sense of humor and was honest and genuine. It s not every day that you come across a young man with such fantastic work ethic and an attitude that showed that he enjoyed his work. I was really amazed by his professionalism and kindness. This is the best place for oil change! Employees are awesome not to mention you sit in your car while the oil change is being done! They had my daughter and I laughing with jokes! AWESOME PLACE AWESOME PEOPLE!!!!!!

I have got my car and I'll change on the on the 3rd of July and on the 4th my truck broke down they have pulled the pin from my transmission cable I was going to the restaurant with my kids and my truck stopped in a gas station to find out they have pulled the PIN on my truck transmission cable this is the second time I have brought my truck to a valvoline two months ago I have also got my truck oil change with the same company in a different town and my transmission broke down four days later I will never ever use these guys ever again this is the second time is the worst experience I have ever imagined 07/040/2023

I used Valvoline on Queen St. in Southington for the first time (my husband usually does it) and the staff treated me with respect and were very polite. I highly recommend them. I went to get my routine check up on wiper blades, tire pressure and getting my oil change. They changed my oil and just went through the list saying everything was good when they didn t even check. I had to fill up my tires myself because I had low tire pressure and my windshield washer fluid is being filled by myself now. They did the bare minimum and I do not recommend there services. If you do the bare minimum expect the bare minimum. I couldn t have been less satisfied.Service: Oil change
