Pep Boys of Southington is my go-to for anything that concerns my car. My Toyota is my baby and they always treat my car with care! The guys at the shop are quick and efficient, I ve been here 3 times now within the past year, I got my tire plugged within 25 minutes and I also recently got my splashguard replaced and all within 20 minutes! Special shoutout to Derrick and Dominic, they always share tips and suggestions for keeping my car in tip top shape

I went to get my flat tire fixed and was met with such great hospitality by every worker I encountered. I dropped my tire off the be looked at and it was done in less than an hour. Since nothing was wrong with my tire, they filled it up and put it back on my car all free of charge!!! I will definitely be going back here in the future and you should to!

Angelis was super friendly! I came in looking for new tires for my vehicle and was hoping it wasn t crazy expensive. She helped me get four new tires for a price that didn t make me feel taken advantage of. She explained how long they should last and what I should do to maintain them (ex: tire rotation and balancing). They need more people like her in customer service!

Called in to confirm my appointment and figure out which tires made sense to purchase. I spoke to an associate over the phone and she was extremely helpful and patient with my questions. She recommended a solid Cooper tire and gave me a decent quote. On the day of my appointment Tim got me situated. I loved that Tim had easy access to my quote and tires left by the sales associate I spoke to! She did an excellent job and was well organized. Tim got me in and out thanx to his team. Most notable however was how he interacted with each customer having a personalized touch! I definitely recommended this spot! Thanks guys!!

incredible incompetence...First they couldn't get to my car all day after i had dropped it off the night before for a 9am appointment. Then when they finally get around to doing the work (which involved a couple new tires, wheel alignment, and coolant flush on my '04 monte carlo), i get the car back with a crooked steering wheel, a twisted steering rack boot (from not loosening the outer boot clamp prior to turning the tie rod adjuster), and an empty coolant overflow tank.I brought the car back in the next day, and after being assurred (once again, lol) by Tim at the front desk that everything would be taken care of promptly, i called back at the end of the day to check on the status and was once again told that they were unable to get to my car and i would have to wait until the next day. When i picked it up the next day thankfully the steering wheel was now straight, but they had once again twisted the steering rack boot (pic included). Never again will i go to this nightmare place to save a few bucks.

I took my 2003 Cadillac here to get it fixed. I had a check engine light that was giving a P0160 code. They said they could fix it. I was charged about $360 for the repair. I picked up my car, started driving it home and the check engine light came right back on. I took it back to them for a second time, picked it up, drove it home and the check engine light comes on again. Bring it back for a third time. They claim this time it's fixed. They also charged me an extra $41.00 this time. Picked up the car and on the way home the check engine light comes right back on.I'm now out $400 and my car is still not fixed. I contacted Pep Boys cooperate to see if they could send me to another Pep Boys that is capable of fixing the issue with my car. They were receptive at first but now are just ignoring my emails.BEWARE! Find somewhere else to get your car fixed.

Amazing customer service! Tim was great! He was able to fit me into the schedule with my tire leak. I was in and out in less than half an hour. Would definitely recommend!

Refused to mount "used" (1 year old) tires. We change summer to winter tires every spring and winter, so we have "used" tires most years. They had no problem doing it for us on another car in December, apparently there's a new manager. Dumb. Also, feel free to mention that you have a hyper-restrictive, money-grab policy when we are making the appointment to begin with so we're not scrambling around for another place. Goodyear across the street had no issue doing it immediately.

Worst experience ever, please do not come here unless you have to do something simple like an oil change, flat tire, change tires, etc. I came for a diagnose to fix ac/heater problem of my car. They diagnosed the car and said the car will be done today, 4 hours later they call me to tell me they couldn't get the part, the car will be done next day. Then next day comes, still without updates I call the guy had no idea what were the updates of my car, and said will call back they call me 3 hours later to tell me that I need to fix another thing in my car, which it didn't make sense for me. Fist there is no good comunication in this place. I call my personal mechanic for an opinion, since I didn't trust this people, and he tells me if both parts of the car were bad, my car would be overheating if that would be the case. I spend almost $400 and they didn't even fix the issue because I had to fix "another part" by them. Anyway I decided to wait for a mechanic that I trust to check my car because he was full. When I bring it to my personal mechanic, he said whatever they did or wanted to do wasn't the problem. So I left my car to local mechanic and with $100 my ac/heater was fix in 4 days. BELIEVE ME THEY JUST WANT MONEY!!!. I CAN'T BELIEVE I SPEND ALMOST $400 AND THEY WANTED MORE MONEY TO FIX ANOTHER PART THAT WASN'T EVEN THE PROBLEM. WHILE THE PROBLEM WAS ANOTHER DIFFERENT PART THAT DIDN'T REQUIRED TO EXPEND THAT $. Shame on this people!! I won't never come again to this place.

This is the best Pep Boys in the area! Everyone is very friendly and they diagnosed the issue very quickly and had me in and out in no time. I definitely recommend bringing your car here for servicing!

It's a smaller Pep Boys but the personal care they took on my car was above and beyond what I expected. Angie is the best. If you haven't given her a raise please do.

We had them rotate the tires, oil change and check the brakes and replace if needed. We also asked them to replace a TPMS sensor but they said they have them on back order and they haven t come in yet, they ve been waiting for months. They completed the oil change and rotate the ties quickly we were able to watch as they completed it and inspected the brakes. Everything was completed quickly.

Was able to get a appointment quickly for complicated headlight replacement. Technician was able to figure out what light it needed do to online info about vehicle being incorrect. Very reasonable parts and service charges.

Made an appointment to have my tires replaced with the cooper adventurer buy 3 get 1 free deal. When I arrived at the store I was informed that the website was incorrect and they they did not have these tires in stock. When I asked for recommendations for a tire with the same 65k mileage the gentleman at the front desk told me he had something cheaper but the same mileage. I didn t care if it was cheaper but the $50 he saved me or not. They put cheap Solarus 40k mileage tires on my vehicle after telling me it was the same as the cooper tires I had purchased. As a female I feel comepletely taken advantage of and I will not be returning. Had Pedro informed me that the solarus tires having a 25k shorter mileage warranty I would ve taken my vehicle elsewhere. Other than misinforming me about my tired the process of making an appointment was easy , drop off and pick up was easy although I waited. My only other complaint was that they started my car 90 minutes after my scheduled appointment time.

I made a quick appointment online with Pep Boys (Southington) because of tire pressure light, it concerned me right as I arrived to my job. After work I went down the road to Pep Boys, waited abit then the gentleman was professional, took my car in and the guy Derek explained that my tire pressure was low so he put air in it. Then I was out the door. I felt comfortable and was not pressured into anything else.Thank you!

Came here for a set of new tires and an alignment. Price was fair and the shop had a very pleasant atmosphere. Tim at the front desk in particular was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable to both me and all the other customers that came through. It's nice to go somewhere that doesn't feel like it's trying to rip you off.

Where to begin... dropped my truck off on a Monday, I was assured it'd be done by the end of the day... fast forward to Friday, I go into pay with my fleet card and it gets denied. After calling the fleet company (WEX) they determine Pepboys doesn't accept their cards, despite the sign stating otherwise at the door. We scramble to make a different payment option available (as every other repair done goes through the fleet card) and told them we will be back Monday to pay. Monday morning comes (not even 1 full business day after the truck was completed) and I get calls threatening me, telling me if I don't come get the truck it's going to be impounded. I get over there, pay for it, get back to work and notice THEY DIDNT EVEN DO THE OIL CHANGE I PAID $104 FOR! I'll NEVER recommend or go to Pepboys ever again. Thanks for literally nothing.

The wrong brake fluid was used on my car for a brake line flush. Either the amount of oil or viscosity was wrong for my car since after the oil change the level is close to minimum and is much lower than it was when I brought it in. Finally, After I was told all services were done when I picked up the car the tire rotation and not yet been done. I had to insist it be done that day and had to wait extra time for it. This last item has happened twice at the same shop.

It took five hours for an oil change. I asked them to check my fluids for potential flush and they never responded. Told me my car would be done by 2:30, and when I came by to pick it up at 3:00 it was still on a lift in the bay and I was late to my next appointment.

Courteous and quick. But was not told that the tires I had ordered a week prior were not available until 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment. My options were to reschedule my time or purchase more expenssive tires. This should not happen.
