I was not happy with the Southington, CT location due to the lack of customer service I experienced this afternoon. I went to the Southington store due to my driver's side wind shield wiper skipping on the glass. I had just bought it at the Watertown, CT location less than an hour before I was on the road. I asked the sales representative to look at my wiper. He looked at it and said I bought it in Watertown, company policy is, with or without a receipt, it has to be returned to Watertown. Then he said it was defective so it wasn't his problem. I then went back to Watertown after visiting my boyfriend in Glastonbury, CT, and was told by the Watertown location that the wiper was not defective, and it was too long and was the wrong size as it was hitting the other wiper. I was very upset about driving on the road throughout Connecticut in the rain with a wiper that was not working properly.

I came in July second at 12:35 to do a return the lady Nicole ended up doing my return. I was then cut off by another customer which Nicole decided he was more important then me who was already in line she had a attitude and this will be the last time thwack come to this store very rude her demeanor wasn t calls for and Fernando seemed to also be no help totally unprofessional I will go to quest or auto zone your employees are the face to your company and therefore you lose customers

They had tire foam directly up front and on sale. Staff were aloof and reluctant to greet and offer help and reluctant to ask if I was ready to check out.

I've shopped here for several years with generally good experiences. During my last visit to purchase oil and dispose of used oil, I was greeted by an unpleasant employee that couldn't be bothered to assist me. While she was playing on her phone she rudely answered my questions. When I went to check out, I waited for several minutes for another employee that was helping a customer while the girl that I originally spoke to ignored me and continued to play on her phone.My most recent trip to an auto parts store was O'Reilly's down the street. There I was greeted by a pleasant employee eager to assist me. I will continue shopping there despite it being an additional 5 minute drive.

If my car broke down in front of this advanced in a blizzard, I would walk the extra 2 miles to get to the oreilleys, this place is the worst parts store in town, all employees are extremely rude, typical easy questions end in accusations and yelling. Very very bad experiences each time I come. DO NOT COME HERE

I m starting to believe this store doesn t want my money for a battery. My fianc� and I went last night after work to get a new battery for his car and after almost paying they said they couldn t install it until the next day (today) because it was dark . I m sorry, it s January and any time after 5:00 is dark out! Also, why can t you use a flashlight?! In desperate need of a new battery after not being able to get one at a few other stores, my fianc� returned today around noon. Now they couldn t install the battery because it s snowing ! We re talking snow that s not even sticking to the ground while it s partially sunny out. Do not give this store your business. They probably don t even want it anyways.

Bought a jump start and realized I didn t need one. Brought it back to the store and they didn t let me return it saying this is their policy. Yeah right, this is not Advance Auto Parts policy. Contacting their corporate right now for this. You can t return an unneeded item really?

I generally assume that a business that says it's open until 9 would conduct business as usual until its advertised closing time .Arrived at store at 8:35 with a return which I paid cash for the previous day with receipt and product in hand and was told it was closing and they had no cash to refund my cash purchase. OK UNPROFFESSIONAL . I proceeded to drive 5 miles to the store in the next town arrived 8:51 and left 6 minutes later with my cash. Things that make you go hmmmm! So southington store bad business.

A great place when an emergency pops up in regards to your vehicles needing a part to get back on the roadway. Some things are definitely not available in store or they just don't carry them anymore for some reason or another.

We were broken down pulling a 42 ft fifth wheel, needing a water pump. Guys were super nice and helpful. Great people!

Always my go-to auto parts store. Good amount of stock, staff is usually knowledgeable, good prices. Way better than the clowns at the "zone" stores.

Asked for the correct filter for the oil change bundle she gave me the wrong one the overcharged me then gave me attitude why wouldn't she just get me the correct filter to the bundle I asked for

Ed & Shawn are the best thing to happen to this location. They are THE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE guys I have ever come across at this location. They will bend over backwards to get what you need.

Sold me a battery then told me that I needed to replace my alternator because it wasn't charging my battery properly went to another place ran a diagnostic on the battery and the alternator everything was beyond superb felt like they were trying to rip me off

I get parts at all of the local places equally. They did not have what I needed at this visit. Could be that a lot of customers bought what I was searching for. I will shop there again when needed.

Was given the wrong tools to do the job. Partially due to my lack of knowlege when it comes to automotive tool measurements. THE SECOND TIME WAS A CHARM. THEY ACTUALY LENT ME THE RIGHT TOOL. TO GET THE ALTERNATOR BELT PULLEY ADJUSTED PROPERLY. AM SHIFT VERY HELPFUL.
