Mark was fantastic. Worked on my bike like he would his own. Honest and knowledgeable. Fair prices amd great work. I gave him a laundry list, and he went above and beyond. I couldn't be happier. If your looking for an extremely reliable and passionate motorcycle mechanic, look no further. Mark is a very honest and friendly person. I called all the shops near by and they were booked for weeks. I called up Tek-1 Cycles and he was able to fix my leaking tire the same day. Very satisfied with the service. Thanks again Mark

Mark did a great job fixing my tire rapidly after I had rolled into a flat heading south through CT. He got me back on the road same day. Very fortunate to have found Tek1 Cycles and would give them my business, no problem.

just wanted to add on to the great reviews....had a slow leak on rear tire. vstar 950 ...left bike and picked up in am....quick service repair , fair price, and a personable guy....surrounding cycle shops have closed down and had to find a new dependable shop so its TEK 1 now. Next on my list, or should I say Marks list , is 2nd bike vulcan 900 clutch cable.which is frayed ...........

Mark took my bike in right away. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and he gave me the information that I needed so the problem wouldn t happen again. I also asked him to help my with my timing chain to check and make sure the tensioner was all good. He took the extra time and did it for me. Very happy and would recommend his services!!!! I will be back for my motorcycle needs.

Can t recommend this place enough. Tek-1 cycles has top notch customer service. I called Mark on a Friday afternoon to swap some tires on my bike and he got the job done. Not only did he do a great job, he handled my bike as if it was his own. He also made me aware of other minor mechanical issues on the bike. Super knowledgeable and very friendly. I ll definitely be back.

Mark is amazing! He is very experienced, knowledgeable and informative. He worked on (and made like new!) my 2007 Suzuki Boulevard, which I could not find any experienced specialists in my area (other than the dealer) to work on.From my 1st call, Mark completely understood what I was attempting to explain (as a very new rider/owner) was wrong with the bike sight unseen. Once he had the bike in hand, he was very good at communicating with me what my options were along the way, as I had a few issues (electrical and hardware) due to some mice deciding to make my bike a home!When I picked up my bike, I couldn't believe that it was mine! Mark had buffed up the Chrome, fixed a couple of cosmetic things just cuz that's the kind of guy Mark is, I so appreciate everything he did to resurrect my bike and his end price was very reasonable!I so appreciate what he did for the Suzuki, I've already discussed with him about repairing somethings on my Harley, which I was very happy to hear he works on too!Huge weight off my shoulders that I have finally found a qualified and talented motorcycle mechanic in my area! I've utilized Mark at Tek1 several times over the last several years. His knowledge is great and was shared with no feeling of rush nor bother. I've taken 3 bikes to his shop for a pre-purchase inspection. He has gone over every inch of the bikes and not only inspected but educated me about the different things each bike may need. I would trust Mark with any repairs or anything cycle related. Though he has never asked me for a dollar I always throw him some cash for his time as he has always delivered and twice saved me from bad purchases. Dropped off my Yamaha R1 with drivability issues on a Friday and I had the bike back the following Wednesday in perfect running condition for a fair price. Very friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me I would highly recommend them!

I brought my 2014 GSXR-1000 to Mark right after I got into a little accident. As soon as I arrived he assessed the damage and made a list of what was needed for the repair. Picked up the bike today and I was very pleased with his work. Mark is 100 percent the real deal, his workmanship is astonishing and he makes sure you leave his shop with the confidence you re looking for when having someone repair your motorcycle.

Mark the owner is an amazing person. I have been going to him for 3 years now because his knowledge and work ethic are exceptional. Not only did he help me with my old bike but when it came time to trade up to a new bike this year he was unbelievably patient and walked me through what bike I should get this time around. I am very happy that I found Tek-1 Cycles and I would, and do, recommend Mark to anyone who owns a motorcycle.

Mark fixed my 2011 Yamaha R1. He installed a variety of aftermarket parts, did routine maintenance, and installed new tires on my bike. He is very knowledgeable and does an extremely good job. His prices are very reasonable and his work is top notch. I will be returning to have him work on my dirt bike too. Mark is one of the best motorcycle technicians I ve came across. Thanks again Mark!

I am so happy that I found Tek-1 Cycle of South Windsor. Mark is so knowledgeable in all matters in servicing your bike. He is very professional and takes time explaining everything. When you leave, you know you left your bike in great hands. After a nerve racking 45 mile ride on a rear tire with steel belt showing, I woke up the next morning and started making calls. Nobody had my tire size. (Older bike) However, Mark had enough knowledge and experience that he was able to get it done, that day, with a slightly oversize tire so I can get to work. He probably ended up saving my life, as I would've ridden it till the tire fell off, with no choice in the matter for weeks. I'd recommend tek1 to anyone and everyone who rides and has limited time. I went through all the usual checks on my 2013 CRF250L after having it sit for about 2 years and couldn't even get it to pop with starting fluid. I called Tek-1 thinking the head would need to be pulled ($$$). I got some expert advice over the phone to try one more thing before bringing the bike in which worked, saving me time and money. Based on that experience alone I would definitely recommend Tek-1.

Mark is the man. Hands down the most knowledgeable motorcycle tech/mechanic in CT and probably New England. He s a straight shooter and one of the friendliest guys around. Took the time to explain everything to me along every step of the way. I ve got an older bike that almost every shop in the area turned down and Mark took it in and brought her back to life. Not only did he take the time to diagnose and fix multiple mechanical problems, his communication and service was absolutely top notch. The owner/Tech Mark is the real deal. With over 30 years in the motorcycle industry he's very knowledgeable and willing to share it. Mark is very cool and respectful. His level of professionalism is unmatched compared to every dealer or shop I've experienced in Connecticut hands down. If you are looking for a guy as dedicated as Mark who will not cut corners in the work and who will go the extra mile to give you top notch quality look no further than this guy. Mark is the best kept secret! I was researching repair shops after my bike had been stolen and damaged badly. I came across Tek-1 Cycles and took a leap of faith based on the reviews. Thank God that I did because from day one when Mark came to pick up my bike and every day since it s been nothing but great, professional, transparent, customer service! Prices are fair but most importantly the work that was performed on my bike was top notch! I couldn t be more happier and it s good to know there are still trustworthy mechanics/technicians who love what they do, and it shows! Shane H.

Thanks for correcting the mess up of another business Mark. New chain and sprockets feel so much better! You put so much time into just initial consult & have so much experience & knowledge. I feel much better having a mechanic that actually cares about my bike and my safety.

I brought my Kia Stinger to Mark for a brake and tire job. He was so knowledgeable and was so easy to talk to about what had to be done. He kept me updated on the progress and was very reasonable in price. Very friendly! Mark is the most knowledgeable and friendly Motorcycle Technician I have ever met. His vast wealth of knowledge is amazing and he openly shares his knowledge with you. Tek-1 is my go to for all motorcycle services. If you ride a motorcycle, you definitely need to check out Tek-1. You will not be disappointed!

I haven t gotten any work done on my bike with Mark yet but what I can say from meeting with him today is that he is Super professional. He looked over my bike and gave me a bunch of knowledge about my bike. He didn t have to do that for me. I m so appreciative and looking forward to working with him in the near future.
