Terrible customer service. Thank goodness I was fully refunded for my first rental when I called hertz customer service dept after I was told in house, since I booked through my credit card the credit card would have to compensate me.Then I called my credit card, which I use for travel only to explain the hell I went through. Which included, but was not limited to being told "to kick me out because they dont need my business" by one of their "penske regular customers" who literally walked in the door had no idea what was going on, (neither Scott or Jamile interjected) bare in mind this was a fully pre paid rental i was picking up. So my CC compensated me for the second rental I had to book on the spot through hertz after they heard my experience. Maybe I should give them 5 stars because I actually got paid to drive their car. Spend the extra money and just use the Enterprise in Willimantic.It seems like they used to have good reviews maybe they are burnt out but I had one of the worst customer experiences with them ever in my life. Do not use Hertz South Windham it's not worth the hassle.

Awesome people to do business with. Real affordable rental, brand new sparkling clean car. Skip airport rental, get a ride to and from them, you'll be glad you did.

The staff was fast and nice and explained my options clearly. My make and model were not available, but they gave me a bigger car. The car was clean.I recommend that you have a friend drive you there to pick up. Uber and Lyft have low availability in the area.

Hertz, South Windham is awesome! Jamile's customer service skills are superior! I needed to extend my rental twice and she made the process painless. She also arranged for Hertz to pick up the rental car in Hartford at my car dealership where my car was being repaired! I will definitely do business with Hertz, S. Windham again.

Scott was very nice. He was very understanding. My SO hit a pothole and it registered as an impact causing the airbags to deploy and shatter the windshield. It was crazy. And Scott was very nice about the whole thing. I would highly recommend.

Fast service, I was the only customer on a Monday at noon. The shop made no mention of covid 19 and the sole CSR didn't wear a mask or mention covid. The car I got had not been cleaned, it had a layer of dust on the outside, and on the inside. But it got me where I needed to go.

Hertz rent-a-car located in South Windham, Ct are extremely professional, friendly and fast in processing your vehicle. The vehicles are tip-top clean and the selection is great. I enjoy Hertz of South Windham and would highly recommend them to all.
