I went into the dealership, completely unsure of what vehicle I really wanted. Misha was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and kind. He helped me to select and test drive several vehicles. He then helped me understand how each vehicle compared to my needs/wants. He never pressured me towards any particular choice, and when I made my selection, he worked tirelessly with me to help make sure every single question I had was answered. When it came time to take delivery of the vehicle, he spent a great deal of time with me, helping me understand how all of the features worked, and helped me adjust the settings to my preferences. Since then, he also followed up with quick tips and tricks for me to use as I get to know the car better. I have purchased a lot of cars in my life, and Misha was by far the best sales person I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I am thrilled with my purchase and cannot recommend he or Mitchell enough. (And the bow at delivery was a nice touch! )

We had a great experience with the purchase of our new car. Misha was wonderful to work with. He was kind and patient, taking the time to explain everything about the cars we were interested in. We never felt rushed or pressured into making a decision. Josh handled the finance process and was very patient taking the necessary time needed to make sure we understood everything. Would absolutely go back to Michelle Volvo of Simsbury!

My husband and I purchased a Volvo XC60 from Mitchell Volvo last week. Our salesperson was Alane and she was exceptional. It was the most pleasant car buying experience we have encountered. No pressure sales! We drove several cars and were provided ample time to make our decision. The week before we had test driven cars at another Volvo dealership, but the experience at Mitchell inspired us to buy locally and they provided very competitive pricing along with their top notch service. My new car is a dream and I look forward to commuting to work daily to get more time behind the wheel.

Excellent dealership. Worked with Alane Comerford to get the car I wanted at a fair price. No hidden costs, everything above board and no high pressure sales pitch. She knew her product and answered the questions I asked with honesty. I will be back here again in the future and recommend this place to anyone that asks.

Amazing experience at Mitchell Volvo! I worked with Misha, he was outstanding to work with. He was very professional and informative without being pushy. I never felt rushed and pressured. As this was my fist Volvo experience, he made it smooth. I love my new Volvo!!

This is the worst dealership i have ever been to from the salesman talking bad about my father directly to my face his name was seth. The packages they sneak in and un willing need to help after you buy one of their vehicles. I wish i never bought a vehicle from them.

I was interested in purchasing my second Volvo and had a WONDERFUL experience at Mitchell Volvo. I have recently had a great experience with their service dept. Regarding sales, Misha was extremely knowledgeable, communicative and an absolute pleasure to work with. We have now found our local go-to Volvo dealership!

We enjoyed our experience at Mitchell Volvo. Misha Malchevsky was our salesperson. He was honest, knowledgeable, responsive, and patient, very different from past experiences at other dealerships. He worked hard to get us a fair price, listened to our needs and didn t pressure us through out the process. Even after the sale, he was responsive to questions to ensure we were enjoying our new Volvo. We are big Volvo fans and would definitely go back to Misha at Mitchell Volvo! If you want a Volvo, we recommend you do the same!

Great buying experience with Michael (Misha). He really took into consideration what we were looking for and was patient and helpful. When we got the vehicle he put in extra time to make sure it was setup and that we were comfortable. Great experience.

I helped my mother complete the purchase of a used Volvo XC40 and it was the best car purchase experienced EVER. Our Sales consultant, Misha, was kind and knowledgeable, no pressure, and very thorough. When it is time for me to get my next Volvo I will definitely return to Misha at Mitchell Volvo.

Our Sales rep, Misha, was very good guiding us through the purchase process at Mitchell Volvo Simsbury. He was patient and helpful when we had follow-up questions about the details of operating the electronic and safety features of the pre-owned car. As he was preparing the sales contract, Misha also brought our attention to a discount coupon offer through Volvo. The entire sales support staff assisted us, addressing our questions, when Misha was not available. Our purchase and service experience with Mitchell's is excellent.

BEWARE PRICING SCAM! $1,500 non-optional Glasscoat, $800 dealer fee, and won't accept cash! YOU CANNOT BUY THE CAR FOR THE ADVERTISED PRICE PLUS TAX & REG - Very dishonest practice. As a longtime customer, I wrote a letter to Mark privately to express my dissatisfaction but have not received the courtesy of a reply. I can only conclude that buying two new XC60's and having them serviced there for the last decade is just not enough to warrant a reply to a serious matter. Just bought a third XC60 from Secor in New London - no funny business there.REPLY TO MITCHELL COMMENT (02NOV23) - My contact details are in the letter I sent to Mark - please avail yourself of those and have a policy decision-maker reach out to me (that's why I sent the letter - and I'll be more than happy to share my point of view). To be clear, I'm not interested in a transactional solution, but rather to improve the transparency you claim to have for all potential car buyers at your dealership. Fundamentally, if you add an option to a car that people don't have the option to refuse, then it is not an option at all, any more than axles or windows are options, and the cost belongs in the advertised price. Failing to include it renders your advertisement false, prima facie, and attempting to cover this unsavory practice in fine print somewhere is disingenuous at best. Your service department has been good to me all these years - such a pity to have that experience overshadowed by these practices on the sales side now.22NOV23:Just got a card in the mail from Mitchell telling me they really appreciate my loyalty and trust, except they have neither after pulling the stunt detailed above. Where are you Mark Mitchell?? Will you answer my letter of two months ago?? I know you have my address....

Alex and Josh were very kind and helpful throughout our process of getting our Volvo XC90. They are both very knowledgeable and able to answer every specific question we had about the details of the Volvo XC90. I highly recommend you to check out the deals at this location because they have the best deals for used cars if you are currently looking to get one.

Came fully prepared to purchase a vehicle I found online, left no longer wanting it specifically because of the salesperson, Alane. Instead of trying to sell me the paint protection service, she lied and said it CAME WITH the car. So I said "oh cool, so it's already installed on the car and built into the price?" (Because you know, that's what "COMES WITH THE CAR" implies.) But no, it's an extra $1500 that she was just trying to tack on. Then she lied about how much they could give me for my trade, reciting Kelly Blue Book, unaware that I had already checked KBB AND gotten a quote from another dealership for thousands more than she offered, and when I revealed this to her she replied with, "I ASKED you if you got a quote." I'm not going to tell you what someone else gave me just so you can match it, I was hoping for more, and KBB also said my car was worth way more than she offered. Then she had the gall to tack on some OTHER service she didn't explain on my quote too. Unreal. At this point I felt like I couldn't trust anything that came out of her mouth. She also was awkward and seemed like a poor fit for a sales role, and as a salesperson whose personal brand is based on trust I'm very offended by this entire experience with her. Thanks for turning what should have been an exciting experience for me into a total waste of my time and total lack of faith in you, Alane.Edit: The reply is from a 3rd party service they hired to give dry, canned replies to bad reviews. Awful and impersonable way to deal with customers!

To the Mitchell Volvo team,You were a dream to work with! It took about a month but Alane was patient with me while I made my decision between the xc40/xc60. I ultimately went with the xc60 and Mitchell was able to beat out another Dealerships quote which was so nice. The process was such a breeze as well. Alane set up a time and I met with their finance manager Josh, he was so pleasant and kind and went through everything slowly to make sure everything was perfect. I am so grateful to have my xc60, its perfect for my growing family and I am very happy to have worked with such a great team at Mitchell. Special thanks to Alane and Josh for making everything so easy!

Condescending, lack of communication, doesn t listen to customers, rushed, and overall terrible experience. Seth spoke ridiculously rude to my father who was just trying to understand. Talk about disrespectful to both people of color and women. Didn t even get to test drive, yet salesman was speeding in the cars in the lot. I don t think they care at all about customers they just want you to put tons of money down to get approved and make sure it s fast! Never again.

Volvo S80 power steering rack replacementI have been coming to service my Volvo S80 here at Volvo Mitchell of Simsbury since 2016, and I have never gotten the promptness of service, quality, and courtesy as I got on this past visit all together. I have to say that it has been my most expensive trip, but it is still well worth it. In my humble opinion, I can say that this is the most friendly, knowledgeable, and professional crew that I have encountered at this location.I want to thank the whole team, from the service manager, Mr. Sloan, onwards, to all the technicians, service adviser, and valet driver.I appreciate your help.

Went to the dealership with a specific vehicle in mind. Seth and the Mitchell Team were able to facilitate a smooth and painless process of test driving , a trade in assessment, and purchasing said vehicle. The staff was patient and ensured I was completely satisfied and more with the purchase. The optional Warranty and other options were thoroughly explained without feeling pressured to make a hasty decision like you would get at other dealerships. The vehicle was available for pickup same day and was received Detailed as if it rolled off a Barrett Jackson podium! Highly recommend.
