What a refreshing experience! I had finally found the vehicle I had been searching for (for months). I was immediately contacted by Steve who scheduled a test drive with me. His vibe was completely what we were hoping for during this experience. He was knowledgeable about our vehicle ('21 Atlas), and if he was unsure about something he made a point to find out. His tour on pickup day was great and I felt like I had a pretty good handle on all the tech when I finally drove away. We loved his honesty and candid demeanor. The whole Mitchell VW team was friendly and super accommodating to us and our 6 week old baby we dragged along for the ride. We LOVE our Atlas and wouldn't hesitate to refer friends/family. Thanks again, Steve!

Had a great experience from start to finish. Worked with Steve and he was excellent! No pressure, very knowledgeable and nice. He walked me through the differences in the cars I was looking at and helped me make an informed decision. He was available to me through the whole process and had excellent communication.

I recently went to Volkswagen to get a diagnostic check on my speakers. I left feeling very disappointed and taken advantage of. The lack of communication I received from the service advisor on the whole process was very shocking. I feel as though I would ve had a better experience speaking directly with the mechanics or a manager about the issue. I totally understand the mechanics have to be paid for the hard-work and labor, I just wish the service advisor communicated with me the exact price / hours of labor it would take so it wasn t a shock when I went to pay. She did not inform me the cost of labor per hour or how many hours it would take, not even an estimate, she only told me this information when I went to pay. The details she gave me were extremely vague and the charge increased tremendously when nothing was fixed. They also did not let me know that my car was going to take another day and held overnight until I called and asked for an update. Thankfully, I spoke with Scott the service manager who was super helpful and informative and he let me know I d be able to pick it up the following day, but I was surprised I even had to call in the first place. As a younger female, I wish I had gone with a parent due to the fact that I felt like the service advisor was taking advantage of the situation and my age, not giving me clear cut details or pricing just to receive the money. There definitely could ve been way more detail regarding the pricing and cost of labor and overall better communication. If there was, my experience would ve been tremendously better.

This place was amazing to us. Marin was awesome from the start. Absolutely zero pressure, even after the test drive. Worked with us throughout the process and went above and beyond getting the vehicle ready for us. Josh, the finance manager, was also an absolute riot. He made signing paperwork a blast, very hard to do. I never thought I would buy anything but a Subaru in my life but I am very happy with VW and the crew at Mitchell especially. Thanks all!

George is a super support salesperson, he is so knowledgeable about the car(s) and virtually all the processes involved. He makes it feel effortless to the customer and has a very positive energy.The sales manager and financial manager were so very nice to work with as well.

Service was easy to schedule for when I was available. An inspection video clip and explanation is always given. I was also able to speak to the technician that worked on my vehicle with my concerns on service. I waited for my vehicle service and it was completed in less than an hour.

I bought my VW in 2020 from this dealership. I purchased a service contract at that time.. 10K, 20K, 30K( which I thought I was buying an oil service program, not this.. irrelevant at this point) I did the 10K & 20K because that s what I was told.. I was late for 30K/oil change service due to a family illness/death. I wasn t worried because my mileage was at 11K & my sticker for next service said 16K. I called to make the appointment & was told I m out of contract (miles or months) by 2mos & was to pay over $700 for this service. I explained my situation & was given VW corporate number to try to resolve. After a 1.5hour wait, I finally reached corporate customer service only to be told it s a dealership issue not corporate. I reached out to Mitchell VW service again & this service rep was so condescending. Telling me my thoughts were incorrect, my service appointment comes out of his paycheck / his hands are tied , no empathy for my situation & he asked if I actually spoke with someone at corporate. I told him I did . Corporate said I m sorry they sent you here because there s nothing we can do .. this is a dealership issue. Once he heard that he said So you wanted to cancel your appointment? Conversation over. This is unacceptable.

The service was impeccable! Josh and Tyler were very professional the entire process. I sent an inquiry online about a car I wanted to purchase and Tyler and Josh were able to answer all my questions on the phone and through email. I only spent about an hour at the dealership and drove away in my new car. I would definitely recommend Mitchell Volkswagen to anyone.

dealer staff -prompt greeting, had a question about my cellphone charger and staff immediately went out to check charger. Service scheduled was done promptly and the waiting area was clean, comfortable and pleasant. Staff answered all my questions and assisted in finding a solution to one of my requests.

I once owned a yellow, Volkswagen Rabbit, which I remember fondly, so I'm thrilled to return to a VW....this time a Jetta! And I had the pleasure to meet George Goggi whose first car also happened to be a yellow Rabbit. George was fun and full of knowledge and a tremendous help, and he made the whole process, from start to finish, seamless. Congenial staff, environment, and excellent coffee. : ) Online purchasing, too, was efficient and time saving. I highly recommend Mitchell! Thanks George!

TL/DR: Mitchell is the only dealership where I'd bring my car in for service. Thanks!Jeff and Scott and the VW service team are the only VW dealership I'll take my Golf to. After having a bad experience at another dealership in Plainville(they are pleasant, but wanted to go through a set of trials and errors that would have cost me over a thousand dollars), I talked to my mechanic and he told me that Mitchell is the place to go for trustworthy service. I was fairly certain that i had a DPF issue and that it would have been under warranty.At Mitchell, they agreed that it was related to the diesel emissions part of the engine and began their tests and fixes. It took a couple weeks but i was provided a loaner. The entire process was communicated well and they even apologized for the time it took (diagnostics, fixes, tests, and parts orders) which I felt was not unreasonable and I had a loaner vehicle, so I wasn't inconvenienced at all. Instead, I am very appreciative of their customer service.Got my car back, didn't pay anything as it was covered under warranty, and the car runs better than it has in a long while, with better fuel economy!

I purchased a 2023 VW Atlas at the Mitchell s VW Dealership. I have been looking for a while and been to a couple of dealerships around CT. The moment I walked in, Marin greeted us and it just felt right . He was very accommodating and showed us the car that I was looking at online right away. I was with my two young kids so I was worried that it will take us too long (some dealership keep you forever and it usually feels like a trap) . But not with this one. I test drove the car, spoke to Marin and the sales manager (Josh), went over the quote just within an hour or so! I did not feel pressured nor rushed and my kids enjoyed their stay. The atmosphere of the place is impeccable and Marin is extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful.When we picked up the car, Marin took his time in reviewing/showing everything my new car has to offer. I left extremely HAPPY and SATISFIED with my purchase. I GREATLY appreciate all the help that everyone provided. Definitely a 10/10 for the service and honesty! More powers!

The sales manager Jeremy and sales associate George are wonderful to work with. They made everything easy and their customer service is outstanding. George s experience and knowledge of the vehicles is amazing. He took the time to go over every feature my new atlas has. He even took me to the service department and showed me what to expect. He s honest, not pushy and will make sure you get the best deal. George is one of a kind. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Thank you so much George. I ll be back to see you when it s time for another new vehicle.

We used the free electric charging out front and super nice employee told us how to get to the connected trail right behind the dealership. This good experience definitely will make us consider an electric Volkswagen in the future. I wish more dealerships did this!

This experience has been the absolute best car buying experience that my family and I have ever had. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and seated immediately. No wait at all. We were offered refreshments and paired with a salesman who was very personable and got to know our family, our car buying experiences, and our needs. He pulled up an SUV that fit all of our criteria and was within our budget. After 1 test drive, my family and I decided that we didn't need to see any other vehicle and we found the one for us. He listened to our needs, and there was no pressure to purchase anything. The closing agent also was fantastic and really worked with use financially to trade in our previous Volkswagen Routan in for the purchase of our "new-to-us" certified pre-owned vehicle a Volkswagen Tiguan. They were even able to work with our predicament in acquiring our out-of-state title for our car and held our vehicle for us while we worked out the details. This dealership has earned our trust and most importantly our loyalty. We will not be looking anywhere else other than here to purchase and service our cars.

There are many reasons for the perfect score. One being that everyone was so welcoming including Marin who actually helped me purchase my first car. With everyone being so nice, it felt good buying from Mitchell s unlike other Volkswagen dealership. John was a great help through this process, and when he was out on vacation Marin was also super helpful and relatable, both really nice guys and I'm lucky to have had them for this process. Josh was awesome with dealing with the finance and paperwork, and I appreciate that he was a very no nonsense guy and I loved that I wasn't there negotiating he gave it to me straight.

I took my Tiguan for a 30k maintenance.Break pads and rotors needed to be replaced. My appointment was at 10amI was out the door at 12.30pmThe waiting area was super comfortable, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.It was a very pleasant experience.

Scott is amazing. I was told that they couldn't get my car in for even a diagnosis until they end of the following week, but when Scott heard the problem he knew what it was and that it was a simple fix, so he got my car in and fixed the next day. That's the kind of flexible thinking and customer care that means a lot.
