My experience every time at Silas Deane Auto has been . First of all, their ability to communicate effectively via text and phone call is impressive and helpful. I always feel well informed. Second of all, they are good about using shared decision making and they always give options. Finally, they are great about following up and reaching out. They always check in post-repairs and make sure that things are in order and that their work was satisfactory. Overall, this is the place. In fact, this is the only place I bring my car for services.

We have been a customer with Silas Deane Auto for many years. Rob has helped keep our 2003 Mustang GT in great condition over the years. Most recently we had our 2019 Ford Edge serviced and we are very pleased with the service provided. Silas Deane Auto is our local go to garage for all of our vehicles. They are the Best!

Very happy that they could get me in quickly after my car broke down on the highway. They were able to give me 3 quotes for service to fit my budget necessary fix, recommended, and any extras. This was my first experience with this garage and I really appreciated the follow up. I will likely continue to use them for any future needs.

Rob and Sean do a fantastic job every time! This is the only shop I ll take my car to. They ensure everything is safe and done right, but they ll also work with you to keep time and cost down as much as they can. Phenomenal people, great shop, and trustworthy!

Can t say enough good things about the guys at Silas Deane Auto! There are a lot of mechanics out there, but like everything, finding a mechanic you can trust can be difficult. Shawn/Rob and their techs are a great group. The communication is fantastic, and there is full transparency of what they find wrong with your vehicle and the possible options to fix and or replace parts based on their recommendations. As far as I have seen, they absolutely make sure the customer is happy once their vehicle leaves the parking lot.

Silas Deane Auto has always provided me with outstanding service with my Mercedes GLK. They are trustworthy, provide excellent work, they stand by their service and work tirelessly to honor their service. I had a situation where Mercedes of Hartford wrongly diagnosed my vehicle and Silas Deane Auto gave me solid advise and they were right about the repair that my truck actually needed.

My wife's thermostat was acting up the week of Thanksgiving. Rob not only diagnosed the issue but also repaired it same day. I had the car back in completely fixed within a few hours and for what I would say was a reasonable price.

Best repair shop there is. Honesty which is next to impossible to find at a repair shop.These guys flat out told me years ago a different place could repair my exhaust cheaper than they could. They did NOT have to tell me that. They could have just took my money.I've been going here for years ever since. They explain the diagnostics to a level anyone can understand. Not just mechanically inclined people.Rob and Sean are great!!!

Rare to find a shop with the depth of knowledge and professionalism that is also customer friendly and honest.I have known Rob Anderson, one of the owners, for 15 years. I drove from NYC to get my front end checked and an alignment.That is how highly I think of them.

Brought in my 2008 Civic for a bunch of small issues. Low electrical power at idle, TPMS light, rattle from engine bay. Diagnoses were accurate, and repairs were completed with fair pricing. Great local mechanic!

I've been going to Silas Deane Auto since August 2019. The first time I went there, another customer came in and Shaun immediately knew his name and asked how he could help. I now share that experience. They always do a wonderful, timely job. The waiting area is neat and clean, too. The Silas Deane Auto mechanics diagnosed a control arm problem when the car was brought in for an unexplainable fluid drips on my garage floor (while all fluidl evels were OK). Still don't know where it came from. Anyway the control arms were worn out, ball joints also. Not mysterious on a 2004 car. They cautioned me about the very rusty undercarriage. So, glad they found and replaced the worn out stuff. I have found that SDA mechanics are knowledgeable and upfront about costs. Their work has always been high quality. The drip has not Reoccurd. I knew my car had a couple things wrong with it but my normal repair shop wasn't getting back to me so I took a chance and tried out Silas Deane Auto. The list of repairs needed on my car was quite long but I felt like they were very thorough and my car runs like new again. I can't recall the last time my vehicle felt so good to drive. I met with the owner and mechanic Shaun and he is extremely professional, courteous, and personable. His shop is clean and the technicians are very polite. I would highly recommend this shop for any car sales, repairs, or maintenance needs.
