I ordered tires from Amazon and Monroe in Rocky Hill CT. was one of the options for installers. It was close to my home so I chose them. The experience was much better than I anticipated. The service writer was extremely professional and the mechanic that worked on my truck was friendly, pleasant and professional. I will be using that shop for oil changes and periodic maintenance from now on.Click

Great service! I needed to get my seasonal tires swapped/oil changed and was able to make my appointment conveniently online. The manager at the desk was friendly, and I was given a full price breakdown right away which is helpful on a tight budget. They got my car in right away and it was done in no time. They had a nice waiting room to sit in if you wanted to stay and wait, but you also have the option of dropping the car off when you schedule online. Prices very fair and the courtesy inspection was a nice perk! I will continue to go here!

Made an appointment for 12. Waited and waited to be greeted. Said they couldn't take me til 2 but I had to go to work. If you have appointments you don't take walk ins or overbook. Annoyed

Monro has been my first choice for auto care ever since I went to Midas for an oil change and was told I would have to pay almost $100 for basic synthetic oil. Being a woman and going to get your vehicle serviced can be an intimidating experience. However, with Monro I'm always respected and not once have they tried to take advantage to make a buck. I never feel any sales pressure and they recommend services and explain the timing as to when those can be done. Most places will make you think you need a service that very day even when you don't because they know you may not fully understand vehicle's and then they rip you off on top of it. Monro has been 100% up front and transparent with me each time I've gone in for service. Thank you Monro staff for being the best.

Josh Nesovich was on staff today. I stopped in because I use this location for my fleet vehicle. I explained the issue with my door and asked when they may have an appointment. Josh just brought my car right in, revised the issue with me and provided a solid temp fix untill I could get to a body shop. He was beyond courteous and helpful. I ll continue to use this location for all of my vehicle needs. Thanks Josh.

The manager was outstanding. I needed to be somewhere a state away and didn't trust the sound my car was making. He took it for a year drive and got it fixed up and I made it on time shockingly. They have great packages for warranties. I highly suggest!

The manager Josh is such a nice man...stopped in unexpectedly with a small battery issue..Josh was kind enough to fix it himself right away and didn't even charge me! There are still gentlemen left in the world. Thanks again!

Excellent and professional service. I visited this shop a little after 8:00 A.M. on August 3rd, 2018 because, days earlier, I noticed their advertisement for a conventional oil change for $14.99. With no appointment, I requested a conventional oil change and was told it may take a little over an hour to get my vehicle in the garage. Terry Wine and the other technician on site completed the service in under an hour and 15 minutes. No attempts at up-selling or insisting other services were required. The price was as advertised (plus tax). Fast and professional service, even with only 2 persons working on site and a few vehicles, that were serviced ahead of mine. While sitting in their clean and neat waiting area, I overheard their conversations with other customers. Customers, regular and new alike, were given expert insight into their individual issues in a manner that was easy to understand. Regular customers seemed very comfortable and confident in services provide. This shop can definitely count me as a new loyal customer.

They told me my tire with a nail in it was not repairable and tried to upsell me really expensive tires. I took it to another mom and pop tire shop that showed me that the nail was nowhere near the sidewall and repaired the tire quickly and easily. Scam artists.

The arrogant unprofessional pathetic manager did not perform what he told , upon asking bullied. He should be terminated. This is my go to shop, but I need to find another service station. The manager was on 8/12/2023 10 AM EST. Unfortunate.

My first experience at Monroe has to be my BEST experience at any customer service related business! Carlos, for example was EXTREMELY polite and helpful. He was assisting another customer but still greeted me and let me know that he would be right with me. He helped me with some knowledge about my car that I was unaware of. I honestly never get great service like Carlos at any other auto shop so I will be back! And I definitely recommend this shop to my family and friends!

I was struggling to find a place that would sell and help me attach new windshield wipers. I had an amazing experience a few months ago while getting my oil changed (they gave me a discount!!) and knew they could at least point me in the right direction. They went above and beyond to make my two experiences there amazing. Highly recommend.

Terry from Monroe Muffler was able to get me in today within a hour of calling. He had his mechanic continue to work on my car, make the extra adjustments, test driving it twice and was able fix it. Thank you thank you!! While waiting for my car, repeat customers came in and told me how great they treat their customers and they don t talk down to them. They make them feel comfortable and keep them well informed without ripping them off. Fair prices. I will be a repeat customer

I needed tire replacements and a checkup on my vehicle. Carlos and his team were very informative and patient in providing various service packages that fit my budget and timeline. They were then able to schedule me right away. Throughout the maintenance process, I was kept abreast as to unforeseen concerns of my vehicle. While continually given service options with my budget.Overall, I was VERY pleased with my tire replacement and service maintenance on my vehicle. I was further impressed with how informative and patient Carlos and the staff at Monroe were.I would HIGHLY recommend Monroe and this particular location to anyone to meet your care car needs.

Excellent! Sam and his team thoroughly evaluated my car based on my concerns, prioritized repairs and completed the work quickly and at a fair price. Everyone was professional and courteous. I will definitely be back.

I usually do not write reviews, but the level of courtesy and flexibility the staff treated me was so incredible I had to let others know. My car needed tire work as well as engine work and the Monro staff was willing to explain everything in easy to understand terms (I am not great with cars) as well as work around work schedule. I will always take my vehicle here in the future and recommend others do as well!

Every time I go to Monro they are reliable, honest, efficient, and trustworthy. You never have to worry about your car being in their care because they will take excellent care of it. I was even quoted a wrong price, which I should've known was incorrect, but Terry made sure that I wasn't unreasonably overcharged and made sure I was still happy with the price and the service. I highly recommend this place for all types of repairs.

DO NOT GO HERE.So I brought my 2006 tsx in for a flex pipe that retails at $180 and they want to charge $280 just for the part with no price matching. No thanks. Rip off then 150 for labor. Not to mention my flex pipe is a bolt on so no welding just outrageous pricing. And i dropped my car off at 730am... and still had to call about it at 230pm just to hear they want 600 plus dollars for something that shouldn't cost more than 300 total. Balance and rotate on my tires was a whopping $80 plus dollars. Save yourself the headache and find somewhere else to go. And to top it off they gave me my car back like this

I usually NEVER leave reviews, but felt this review was necessary. All I can say is AMAZING service beginning to end. I received brakes and rotors service for my vehicle. Their team was extremely helpful in choosing the right brakes and rotors to fit my car and needs, so professional in every way and work with you. Such honest individuals. I HIGHLY recommend their service for your car needs and troubles.

Great place, I'm confident every time I come here. Friendly, not pushy and they always get the job done. Terry does a great job running his team. Best Auto Service place I've ever been too. I'm in Southington and I drive all the way to Rocky Hill for them. Thanks for being great in the Automotive Service Industry!

I don't know why it took me this long to rate this place but it's OUTSTANDING!!!! My family and I have been loyal customers since about 2002. We've even seen a full staff change over about a year ago or so and even that didn't diminish how amazing this place is! If you need something done to you car, go here and nowhere else! The kindest, friendliest, and most knowledgeable auto staff are here! Thank you to all of you for all of your wonderful help over the years! See you the next time we need something done to our car!

These guys will take care of you, came in for a rattle under my car, voiced my concerns to the employee and a manager took care of me. Put my car on the lift and found out it was a slightly bent heatshield and they fixed it free of charge. great service and great people over there. please tip them if they satisfied your needs! will definitely bring my business back.

I got a quick oil change from the guys. I had gone there as it's right next to my office but the courteous service and work will make me go there in future. The manager Miguel in Rocky hill is patient and to answer all your questions and their deals on tires are also great. My go to place from now on..
