I have gone here for years and I have had front end work done, an alternator replaced. alignments, oil changes and several other things and have always received excellent service. Very rapid service as well. This is an organized, efficient and clean operation. I have had work done on 2 personal vehicles and brought down 6 total work vehicles when I worked at a business in town. The videos are a great way of showing the customer your views. I drive 20 minutes for service and would drive 1 hour if not more. Also a shout-out to Dan who used to work there. He was a great guy. Happy Holidays and see you all soon I need an oil change, alignment, tire rotation, cabin filter and air filter for the cadillac.

I recently brought my 2009 Honda Civic to Modern Tire & Auto Service for an oil change. My car got a clean bill of health! I only have 37,000 + miles and I appreciated their honesty regarding further service recommendations. Pleasant waiting room area and very knowledgeable, professional and friendly guys working behind the desk. Also, have to add that I appreciated an unexpected follow up call a couple of days later checking on my appointment. Excellent customer service, Modern Tire and Auto Service is a class act!

Don't go here if you like your new tires balanced properly. Spent over $1400 on new tires and they sent me off with 4 improperly balanced tires. Brought it back to have all the tires rebalanced. Then I was told one of my rims were bent causing that one tire a balancing issue. I took that tire and rim to Town Fair Tire in Rocky Hill just to get a second opinion. They gave it back to me within 3 minutes perfectly balanced. Said the rim wasn't bent at all, it just wasn't balanced properly. Had the other 3 checked and they too were all way out of balance still. The store manager Derek did refund my money that I paid for the balancing when I bought the tires without any hassle. But after paying that much money for new tires and having to drive on them bouncing down the highway for two weeks until I found the time to have it corrected is unacceptable. Not to mention I almost sent out a perfectly good rim to have fixed because they told me it was bent. Sorry but I will never walk in that store again to buy tires or anything else for that matter.

I had a flat old tire on my 2020 Kia Sportage AWD, I had to replace both front tires, get a front end alignment and an oil change. $419. Rick and Chris were helpful and professional. I brought it in at 10:00, finished by 11:43, which seemed somewhat reasonable. I was able to do work on my laptop in the waiting area with little distractions, really, zero distractions. Overall, I had an idea what I'd have to pay and with some nice discounts, they were able to make it happen, getting the oil change practically free, still seems like a lot, but it is 2023 with out of control inflation (thanks Brandon). I left a little more than just satisfied.

Took my company vehicle there for an oil change. I was told it would take 2 hours. I had the time to spare before my shift so I said sure, I ll wait. Even though it was an absurd wait time. For 2 and a half hours I watched one guy change the oil on 3 cars. I walked up to the desk and asked if it would take two hours to change the oil when my car finally gets in there. I was told it takes 30-45 minutes, but that now the mechanic was going to lunch. Of course he deserves a lunch break, but I highly doubt the oil change was going to take 30-45 minutes when it was taking him an hour+ per car, I was timing it based on what I was observing while watching him. Then I was questioned as to why I was waiting for my work car when usually the company vehicles get dropped off. I don t understand why it mattered if I was waiting for it and why I had to explain myself to a place that had me waiting for such a long time. Well I have a question for you guys why is one man doing all the oil changes and why is it taking him more than an hour per car??

I noticed my mother's tire had a screw in it and sent her to Modern Tire in Rocky Hill. They took it right in and out the door in thirty minutes. Charged her less than $40 and didn't try to sell any other services. Didn't take advantage of an elderly woman, and did just what she went for. Nice work, she'll be back.

I have been going here for the past decade since I moved to Rocky Hill. My in-laws recommended them, and I m glad they did. They are friendly, fair, and most importantly, honest. I have a family friend mechanic I sometimes go to, but honestly with the convenience of modern tire, I m a repeat customer. I ve had places see a female with car seats and think they could take advantage of me but that has not once happened here. I am treated with respect and fairness. Derek was extremely helpful with this past service visit, ensuring I received the correct services needed. I also love the little kids table to occupy my young ones!

That's the 2nd botched appointment with these guys in 6 months. This time I send my daughter there to put on 2 tires that we prepaid for. She shows at 9:30 a.m. and tells them that she's waiting next door. At 12:15 it still hasn't been put on the lift so she calls for status. At 3:00 she gets a call that they're done. That's 5 1/2 hours for a 2 tire install. It's one thing if she was heading to work for the day, but she's wasting a day there while her car sits there. Similar happened not too long ok. In this day of customer service, it's not hard take a hard look at appt's and tell someone to come back later so they're not wasting their time.

I came here for CT Emission test ; very nice customer service front desk ppl.Nice and clean..plenty of sitting for waiting customers!!I thing this place has lots of good deals on wheels and tires upgrades as well as most of vehicle service required!!

After going to town fair tire and being told all of my wheels were bent I was sent on a long and expensive journey of trying to get a vibration issue with my car resolved. I bought new wheels and went to various shops all with terrible results and no resolution. I decided to stop in at modern tire as a last ditch effort before buying a new set of tires since they're near my place of work. They were nice enough to check my original wheels with me, and they all seemed fine on the balancing machine. I decided to have them mount my original wheels for one last try. It worked out great, no issues with the original wheels. Marshall and the team were a pleasure to work with and resolved my issue easily. They've earned a future customer, and I'm never going back to town fair.

Bad experience. Just got a flat. Went to compartment under my trunk to grab the doughnut... not there. Last time I saw it was my last flat when I drove it into Mondern Tire in Rocky Hill. I never thought to think to check the compartment to make sure they put it back. They didn't and refused to replace it. Lot of choices for tires... I'll go somewhere else from now on

My family has used modern tires for a long time. We thought they were honest, fair and reliable but they did us shady. We had 4 tires installed on my Chevy Trax and they sold us 8 year old tires!!! How is that legal? When I confronted them they said they could only give us points for our problem . Review everything when getting tires from them cause they might do shady and underhanded practices on you!

5 stars isn't enough!After purchasing 4 new tires and installation from another company, my vehicle (bigger than the usual car or truck) developed an extreme hop and was basically too dangerous to drive over 50MPH. With upcoming plans requiring use of the vehicle, I called Modern in a real jam and asked if they could help. Not only did Dan and Lionel get me in the shop and take my truck in within 1hr of calling, they had the capabilities and machines to prove two of the brand new tires had failed and would never balance out correctly. After doing what they could and making a significant improvement, and along with their guidance, I was able to get replacements next day from the original shop. My next issue was getting the next set installed; yet again Dan and Lionel saved my whole week. They had my vehicle on the lift the next morning and within 3 hours they called to say everything was perfect. Knowing that there is a tire/auto shop that is this helpful and willing to work with one's crazy schedule (and install customer provided equipment) is a dream come true. I cannot thank the Rocky Hill Modern team enough for their help - we will absolutely bring our other vehicles over when time comes for new tires. I can't imagine going to any other place after this experience. Thanks to the whole team for your help!!

I started using Modern tire a few years ago. Joey Fiumara has taken care of my cars ever since. I now have both of my sons and many of my friends asking for Joy. He's honest and knows his stuff. Thanks Joey and the guys in Rocky Hill.

Took my car to them for diagnostics as it was stalling with minor jerks when engine light was not on. They tried to rip me with $5k+ CVT transmission replacement when everything seems to be working fine now.Further I took my car to a local mechanic and he confirmed that there are no transmission issues whatsoever. I was charged $180 plus taxes (total $192) for diagnostics which was 100% incorrect. I normally do not post reviews but decided I should, so that others could get inputs from my pathetic experience.

I have been going to the Rocky Hill modern tire for years now as a regular customer for oil changes and small fluid replacements, etc. I recently went into modern tire to have some more significant work done on my car. I was fortunate enough to have Dan I. as my service representative. He found me the best option and fairest price for the work I needed done. I was in and out in less time than they quoted me. Needless to say, really impressed with the quality of work, and price was better than two other auto shops. Thank you, will be back.

This is by far the best place to get service for your vehicle. I have always had the pleasure of having Dan Iacobucci assist me. Dan goes way out of his way to help and advise you what is the best service. He truly knows his vehicles. I have walked in and asked for help with air for my tires or a windshield wiper blade and Dan has always helped me even at extremely busy times of the day. I can always count on Dan to help.Excellent service always.Donna

My entire family has been going to Modern Tire for years. Every experience has been great. Went in today for a routine oil change and Tyler Paparello took good care of me. As always, great service at a great price. Location is very convenient and comfortable to hang out while my car is being worked on. Highly recommend.

Excellent service and my car s brakes feel brand new with no shuddering or pulsating. However, it would be five stars if my car wasn t returned with oily fingerprints in the interior. The mirrors and seat being out of adjustment I can handle and readjust, but it would be appreciated if surfaces touched in the interior would be wiped away afterward before the vehicle is returned to the customer.

We needed tires for our Infinity and I decided to price out Modern Tire against a national chain that We've used before. Dealt online with Joe, he was very knowledgeable and easy to converse with, he gave us multiple options and no sales pressure. Ended up with great tires at a really good price! The staff in Rocky Hill were friendly and helpful, overall a great experience.

We are so thankful for the staff at the Rockyhill, CT location. We had significant car trouble while on our way home from vacation. The mechanic was able to diagnose the problem and call local shops to obtain the right part. The staff directed us to a hotel and amenities in the area, and had our car ready to go the following afternoon. Not to mention, they provided coloring books and crayons to occupy our kids! We are forever thankful for their kindness and workmanship! Highly recommend!

When you go to Modern Tire make sure to ask for Carlos Hernandez. His energy and exceptional customer service to all his customers is more than I have seen in any auto service yet. I was well over due for on an oil change so as i waited my turn I watched how well he handled his customers, I knew immediately I came to the right place.. another satisfied customer .

I brought my Mini Cooper in for an oil change and just a general check up of the vehicle. After a few hours, they sent me a video showing me exactly what needed work. They were thorough and honest. They understood that I couldn't afford all the repairs at once, so they helped me decide what was most important. Everyone was super helpful and nice but I mainly worked with Derek and he was great!! I will definitely go back for all repairs/maintenance in the future.

We've dealt with a lot of car issues lately and the staff here has been absolutely incredible!! Not only did they go above and beyond to ensure we were informed and had options about our repairs, they've always ensured that the best possible job is done and in a timely manner. Very grateful my husband and I found this place and don't plan to go anywhere else for auto repairs!!

I've always had great service here. Michael has always treated me well... very honest guy, I never feel like he's just trying to sell me something... and Carlos is great when Michael isn't there. I was just there yesterday for an oil change and slow leak in a tire (that was purchased and mounted back in April) and they took care of it quickly and efficiently. I will definitely continue bringing my cars here, no doubt.

I have been relying on Modern Tire in Rocky Hill for my vehicle maintenance for over six years and have been very pleased. Michael Lionetti has always taken care of me and guided me in making the best service and product decisions for my vehicles. Michael is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The facilities are clean-comfortable and easily accessible. I carry very precious cargo- 2 little girls and a 1 year old baby boy. It gives me great satisfaction to know that my car is in good working condition due to the Professionals at Modern Tire.

I had a tremendous experience here. Michael Lionetti explained how the work would be done on my car in a patient and easy to understand manner and introduced me to his technician. My car was ready quickly and the work cost nothing compared to the quotes I got at other mechanic shops. Modern Tire is a large, clean, full service mechanic shop. I felt I could trust Michael and would recommend Modern Tire in Rocky Hill to my friends and family.

I first visited in need of some quick repairs and tires. Mike Lionetti not only got my repairs done quickly, he was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and stayed in constant contact with me while my car was being serviced. I found the quality of the work to be excellent and at a fair price. Since that experience, I now have all my service work and Oil Changes done here. Mike is a valuable asset to your business and earned you a loyal customer.
