Called for parts for an older Onan generator, they emailed me the parts breakdown, gave me the price and availability for the parts I needed. I ordered the parts and received them the next morning. Thank you Tim at the Scarborough ME. location.

This shop has been awesome!!! My truck was in the shop immediately and diagnosed within a day. Dawn up front was very helpful in getting me setup with a hotel and getting the truck in asap. Dana was my advisor that kept in contact with me every step of the way and she was on point. I can t say enough about the team at Cummins in Rocky Hill, CT. Thank You!!

I cannot say enough good stuff about bringing my Cummins powered RV to this dealer when hitting some gigantic pot holes on I95 in NY. I had a clamp break causing a charge air hose to partially fail. I was on a long trip over 1300 miles from home. They knowing I was far from home took it in right away, found the problem. Best of all had parts in stock! That is huge! Fixed my 6.7 and I was back on the road by 3pm. Anyone that owns an RV will understand what a big deal getting fixed and back on the road is. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

I had wasted 21 hours between the dealer and Travel America repair shops before arriving at Cummins Coach Care at Rocky Hill CT. Dino patiently took notes and inspected the rig. Within 2 hours, they made a hole in the repair line and brought the rig inside for inspection. There was no fault codes just a small leak but the entire rear of the rig and toad were covered in oil. Kevin was the technician who worked late to help get us back on the road. Dino and Kevin always kept us informed of their progress and findings. No surprises. In the end, it was a simple overfill during its last oil change. Extremely pleased with their level of customer care, professionalism, and technical knowledge. Love these guys! And, by the way, the Italian restaurant Case Mia around the corner was also a great find! Good Italian food while the rig was being repaired...best of 2 world!

I cannot say enough great things about the Cummins service center in Rocky Hill CT. Everyone there was accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable & took the time to explain & document everything. We called them around closing time & they stayed on the phone to diagnose the issue & squeezed us in at 9 am the next morning. By 2pm we were back on the road issue resolved. Thank you to Dino, Steve & the entire staff.Every step of the way Dino kept us informed & always ended the update with is there anything else I can do for you.I highly recommend them for your service issues or regular maintenance.

March of this year we brought our Peterbilt 386 to the Rocky Hill, CT location for a ticking noise coming from the engine when RPMS go up. The technician found excessive back lash on the gear train. The estimate to reset timing of gear was $1,779.50, which we agreed to. During the repair they found progressive damage in the fuel pump idler gear and camshaft idler gear both having excessive play. The estimate for repair was $4,904.67, which we agreed to. The technician then found issues with the gear housing and provided us with two more estimates, one to replace the gear housing for $15,567.86 and one to add the gear housing repairs for $14,917.90. At that time, they had no stock on the gear housing and their factory would need to source this part to try and locate one. They had no estimated time of arrival for the gear housing. Since they did not have any estimated time for the gear housing part and we could not have our truck in the shop for an unknown amount of time, we chose the repair option. Throughout this entire process we were told the warranty for all work was for one year. Now lets fast forward.Last week my husband notice oil leaking from the gear housing. I reached out to Dana at Rocky Hill, CT and explained to her we just had this repaired in March and its leaking. She replied if it s something we repaired then it would be covered under warranty. This location did not have an opening for diagnostics for two weeks so she said we could take it to any Cummins or Peterbilt dealer and give them the paperwork (which she provided me again by email). We took our truck to Peterbilt in Florence, SC (who are AMAZING) and they found the gear housing was leaking from were Cummins repaired the gear housing. There was no sealant when they opened the cover nor on the screws that Cummins replaced. Peterbilt reached out to Cummins in Rocky Hill, CT since it is under warranty and they refused to cover the repair, stating this was not covered under warranty because we chose to repair in March and not replace the gear housing. Also, I reviewed all my paperwork and not anywhere did it say that or that it was a temporary fix and let s make something very clear we wanted to replace the gear housing however Dana did not have an estimated time frame for getting the part. We were already spending $15K, another $1K did not matter at this point. We contacted the Area General Manager, Guy W. Reid and he said NO. We even offered to pay for the part which is roughly $700 and for some of the labor, if they could help us with the remaining labor costs and they still said NO.Was I asking for too much to have them cover only a portion of the labor costs?I sit here and wonder is there no loyalty to customers anymore? $15K was a lot of money for us but we wanted our truck fix correctly, so we agreed to each estimated amount they gave us. Look where that got us. We are a one truck business, and we are now left to pay out of pocket roughly $3K.These big companies seem to only want to take money from hard working people who are just trying to make a living for their families.

We were 3000 miles away from home, our Motorhome when we got a check engine light. We took it to the Cummins service center. I talked to Dino over that phone and he was good. When we left Motorhome at the center , Dino kept us informed and up to date daily. The repair was going to take until Monday to complete. Dino and his found the crew the parts locally and was able to complete it on Thursday.

We are full time RV's. We had an engine DEF voltage error on our Tiffin Powerglide 40 IH. Called on Monday, had an appt for 7 AM Tuesday--priority for out of towners. Unfortunately, they had a reduced staff situation, so it took them 2 days to isolate the problem. Called Tiffin with issue, it was a Tiffin issue, but Cummins agreed to implement repair with Tiffin part (over nighted) and guidance. Part was replaced next day and we were back on the road. Special thanks to Dana for keeping us informed throughout this process and help us get back on the road. Thanks to Brian for jumping in and heloing.

After being towed out of the middle lane of 84 this was the shop the company we lease the truck from said we have to take it too... This made me nervous at first. They took it in right away and started working on it. My company sent another truck, so I transferd my stuff to that one and left. Long story short (too late) the truck is less than 2 years old and under warranty. The problem was with a Ford part, not Cummings which Ford insisted was incorrect. They fought with Ford to the point where a Ford engineer came out to diagnose the problem, which the Cummings mechanic had already done the first or second day they had it. I was beyond impressed with the service I received from this shop!!!

Great experience at this Cummins location. I own a mobile dog grooming van and have been assigned to Kevin for repairs to service my Onan generator. Kevin is very helpful, quick, knowledgeable and the absolute BEST! Highly recommend!

Same old story with Cummins. They are real busy, one more customer with a engine issue is very routine. Rapid Serve opens a case and walk the techs through thousands of checks that try to figure a way to avoid covering something under warranty. Day 1. Precalled location to find out what their availability to work on Stop Engine light on. Was told they would look at it that day if we got there pretty soon. We arrived a couple hours later. So they couldnt look at it till the next day. Day 2. Called 11:40am. Everyone at lunch. Someone will call me back. I called back at 1pm. They were still diagnosing it but the truck supposively made it in at 8am, they will call me back when they know something. Called at 4pm. Guy says there is no one around and that they were still diagnosing. He works in service and he doesn't have access to be able to tell me about the truck. Cummins website advertises location being open till11pm. The 4pm guy says they are only open till 6pm. Why are they open till 6pm if no one can look in the system and help tell a customer what is wrong with their truck. Day3 is tomorrow. We will see what Cummins trys to wiggle out of paying under warranty then, if i can find someone at this location to tell me anything other than "we are still diagnosing".

Very disappointed! They charge me almost $900 for a simple diagnostic of my Vermeer Woodchiper and they gave me an estimate over $5,000 for couple parts plus labor and I said no way! Tri valley Equiment has fixed for a lot less money than Cummins!

Great folks. Got my truck worked on (2/7/2017) in a great time and got down the road. But like everything else fix one problem and another occurs. But nothing to do on their part.
