Recently purchased this beautiful 2004 Tacoma from Pete at the Wilton Auto Park and couldn't be happier. The customer service I received was truly exceptional. Pete never rushed me, allowed me to test drive the vehicle for as long as I wanted to, provided the car fax and all relevant information, and made the entire buying experience as pleasurable as possible. Thanks again Pete!

My wife was so excited to find another Volvo. Peter (the owner) and my wife clicked right away for there love of mastiffs. Drove an hour and 40 minutes to test drive the car. Was in decent condition drove well then asked about the a/c. He promised it was the refrigerant. Not the compressor. Got home to my mechanic and found out the compressor was bad. Peter actually stuck his head under the hood and pointed at the belt saying all is good. He's not a mechanic. I should have known the belt runs regardless if the AC clutch engages or not. My bad. Typical used car salesman. Just received quote for $1100 for new compressor. Thanks peter.

We purchased this week with Pete Canale. Pete was very easy to work with, and we got a great car. We had the car looked over by our mechanic, and were able to negotiate on some work that will need to be done in the near future. Pete was happy to work with us, and we got a great used car. We had been looking for some time. In this market, we got a very good deal on a very good car.

I purchased a very low miles 2009 car from Wilton Auto Park a couple of weeks ago. The purchasing experience was super easy and no-pressure. I was given the keys to take a test drive on my own and when I returned, I worked out a good deal in a matter of minutes. The car was prepped, insurance was set up and I drove off with Connecticut registration within 3 hours. Wilton Auto Park conducted a technical inspection and even replaced the front brake pads between the time I worked out the deal and when I returned to pick up the car. The papers were all ready and it took only a few minutes to sign them and be on my way. The car came with a 30 day warranty and I was told if there were any problems, just bring it back and they would take care of it. The tires on the car were decent, but I recognized they would likely need to be replaced before too long. Wilton Auto Park told me to bring the car back in the future and that they would give me a good deal on new tires, and would install them for me whenever I was ready. All in all, it was the easiest car buying experience that I can remember. It's also worth noting, that the staff was wearing masks and since they let me take the car for a test drive by myself, it lowered the risks associated with the spread of Coronavirus.

I inquired about a 2010 GTI a few days ago, talked to Jack and went well. I went to go look at it today. When I got there I spoke to Peter and he gave me the keys and then went inside and never said another word. The exterior was pretty nice considering few scratches and a bad attempt at paint correction but nothing major. Then interior was mint just like the pictures. When my cousin and I opened the hood that s where the issues were. The car was leaking excessive oil from the rear main seal as well as the turbo. You could also see some coming out of the valve cover from the timing chain maintenance 30k miles prior. The oil wasn t very old either. Overall very disappointing experience, from not being engaged with to having underlying issues not mentioned for a car listed at $7,995 with 160k miles. So be weary if your looking at a car here.

The owner and his assistant made it unbelievably easy and fast to purchase my new car. They stayed in contact the whole time and were extremely patient with all the silly questions that came from my worrisome mom. It relieved so much stress to know they had everything taken care of. Two weeks after purchase my car had a stuck caliber (fairly common after cars sit on the lot for a bit) and the owner fixed it free of charge and very promptly so I could return to work! I wouldn t go anywhere else! This business truly knows how to make things right!

Purchased a car there. After we gave deposit they put sold As is. We asked them to check the car over as it sounded like it had an exhaust leak. They told us they checked it and it was fine. Nothing but a lie. We had it looked at by a mechanic. It s a flex pipe leak. By the front of the motor. Yesterday they put some gunk around it and refused to fix it further. Stay away.

I went to Wilton Auto Park interested in a 2013 Honda. I am happy that I was able to get the car. I came into a little situation with the car. Wilton Auto put brand new brakes on the vehicle but on the driver side they forgot to put an auntie rattler from my understanding so the car is making a loud noise I call Pete to have that fixed and I'm still waiting and it's been weeks. So I finally went to the Honda dealership and they couldn't believe that they allowed me to drive off their lot with that piece missing.

I recently purchased a vehicle here, and everything went smoothly. Pat and Pete treated me very well, and I took the vehicle for a test drive. All was well, and I purchased the vehicle the next day. All is well so far, and I would definitely buy another vehicle here. If there is any issue at all, I always suggest people to have their own private mechanics take a look before purchase. I had no problem here at all. Thanks again!

Today I bought my second car from Wilton Auto Park. The first one was three years ago for my son - a 2010 Subaru Forrester which he still drives every day and served him well up at Ithaca College in the cold and snow.Today I bought a 2011 VW Tiguan. It suits me perfectly. They showed me all the previous service it had received and they really stand behind their products. I really could have felt comfortable buying any of the cars on the lot - I just really love Volkswagens. Many thanks and congratulations to the staff for their honesty, work ethic and the feeing that I was always the most important person in the room. Thanks to the staff for my new VW adventure!!

I bought a car from pete at wilton auto park 3-4 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with how my experience went. First I find the vehicle im looking for at a fair price especially in the current market, so I give wilton auto park a call, due to my work schedule I would not be able to make it down during buisness hours, pete stayed late and allowed me to come check the car out. After my test drive I am digging into this vehicle (I am very mechanicly firmiliar with cars) im crawling under it looking through everything and to my surprise pete is inside not paying me any mind. The hovering persistent salesman is a big turnoff to me and pete was the complete opposite. Ill take it! now its time to do the paperwork, pete went back and forth with the lender untill he got my payment in the range I was looking for. Time to pick it up, the vehicle was everything it was advertised to be. Everything is going great until 3 weeks in we hit a hiccup. I call pete and let him know whats going on, though a minor issue pete orders the parts for the job as im on the phone with him no questions asked. Honestly I couldn't have asked for a better overall experience and I really appreciate the way he conducts his buisness. No begging, no hovering, no 3 calls a day, no spam or junk. Just an easy car buying experience and a happy customer

I purchased a Hyundai Genesis from here and everyone was extremely nice. The interior was spotless and the owner Peter handed me the keys right away to check it out. He even offered to give the car an extra wash before I left. Definitely would recommend for anyone looking to purchase an affordable car.

I couldn't be happier with the car I purchased or the staff at Wilton Auto Park. I purchased a 2008 Subaru Outback, and it is great! Jack and Pete were nothing short of spectacular throughout the purchasing process. The car is clean, inside and out, and runs great. I would highly recommend Wilton Auto Park to anyone in the market for a great used car - they even give you the CarFax!

I purchased a 2008 Subaru Legacy in December of 2015. The engine light came on soon after I took the car home and I must have taken the car in to them at least 5 times. I finally paid my own mechanic $285 to fix the problem, 1 time...done. My son took that car on the highway a few days after we took delivery and in the pouring rain the wheel started shaking violently and he had to get off the road. It turned out the front brakes malfunctioned. By the way, the salesman told me that the brakes were all new on the car but when I went to pick it up that work was not on the receipt. He then told me that the brakes were not new but they looked them over. I guess not. I requested that they take the car back but they refused. I will say they were responsive, put new brakes on the car and tried to fix the engine light. All in all, I would NOT buy anything from this dealer without having it checked out by your own mechanic. Personally, I would not go back.

Peter is a gentleman. Great service & follow through. He was honest and friendly. Love my used Lincoln, and would recommend this used car lot without hesitation. I asked Peter if I could bring the Lincoln SUV to my mechanic in Stamford to check it out for me and without hesitation he allowed me to, and also let me on another occasion bring it to show my wife the car. Thanks Peter & Jack

Recently purchased an older Mercedes 300E from Peter at Wilton Auto Park. I am located in California and had concerns but Peter was responsive and sent videos and photos. The vehicle arrived in the same condition and I was pleased. Thank you!

I went to look at a 2003 Audi TT. The guys there were great. Car was in great shape too. No haggling or trying to get you to buy buy buy. They re 100% real and down to earth. I didn t even end up buying the car but they were still professional and easy going.

Honesty. Integrity. Customer-centricity. Not often words used to describe car dealerships/repair shops, yet Peter, Jack and Rickey exemplify those 3 words, and more. I've sold 4 cars to them, and bought 2 cars from them, and they couldn't have been more helpful, pleasant and caring about me and the cars. I would highly recommend you make them your first and only stop if you're looking to get a great deal -- not just a great deal re: price and cost, but a great deal in every way possible.

This is the BEST place in the area to have work or routine service done on your car. They are honest, reliable, thorough, and their prices can't be beat. Rickey, their main mechanic, is a wizard, and I have entrusted my cars to him for years with never a complaint. I'll never go anywhere else!

I recently bought used minivan from Jack. He was very polite and the purchase of the vehicle went very smoothly. We are very happy with the minivan, and very likely purchase another used car from Jack if the need should arise again.I liked that he included a tune up on the minivan. Thank you Jack!!

I traveled to take a look at a vehicle. As a mechanic I was prepared to go through the vehicle and see if it was worth the money. I picked a list of things wrong with the vehicle. Broken Head light, worn bushings and faulty AC. The owner refused to address the issues and take the money off the vehicle. He said he could put salvage parts on the vehicle for next to nothing and cared less. I finally agreed to a price and took the vehicle home. When I was finally raised the vehicle I saw where they rigged the exhaust to get it off the lot. If I was not able to repair the vehicle my self this deal would be a complete bust for someone else. Stay away from this place. I saw salvage transmissions waiting to be installed in vehicles. This is the classic used car dealer just looking to get over on someone. Poor repairs and salvage parts poor attitude owner.

I had a very good experience at this dealership. No complaints. The owner was very kind. Its hard enough today to buy a car but this place really tries to get you into the right car especially designed for your situation. I found them to be honest and helpful. They couldn t have been any better than that. I would suggest Wilton Auto Park with no reservations.

My son and I had a very good experience purchasing his first car here. Jack made everything go smoothly, made sure all maintenance , etc was done on the car prior to us picking it up. Very happy with car!

This dealer should not be trusted. Any dealer that would lie over something small will for sure burn you on anything big. I bought a car from them and they swore the oil was changed. The owner even said they would not let it go out with black oil. When the car was shipped to my house , the first thing I did before taking delivery was check the oil. Black as black can be.I called the owner Peter Canale and told him. Given how diligent he was on following up to get me to follow through and buy the car, I actually expected him to do something about this and send me money for the missing oil change or maybe an oil change kit for me to do it myself. Nope. He said he would call me back and then I never heard from him again. That was month ago. Odd how he said the tires were fine and yet they are full of dry rot ( the pictures did not show the rot). So they cheated on the safety as well. Now I need to buy new tires as well.Bring a lawyer with you if you deal with them or, ideally, don't buy from them unless you you really have no other choice ( not sure why that would be with ebay and online shopping)Having purchased over 50 cars and motorcycles in the past 20 years, I can say that this was/ is one of the more shady dealers. Peter Canale runs the show and should not be trusted. If you are reading this review a month from 5-20-2015 or 3 years, just know that a leopard does not changes his spots. Buyer beware.Go to yelp to see just how bad these guys are despised. Peter Canale and his shady crew will screw you over.

Great that they supply a carfax, however the owner doesn't work with you as far as the price. My husband and I were ready to buy the car just needed a couple of hundred taking off at order for us to buy it. The owner said he couldn't do less and he could have had the sale at that moment. Come to find out a couple of days later he drops a price and tells us that the car is no longer available. Bad business

Beyond accommodating and very easy to work with.Had a minor problem with the car we purchased (not their fault at all) and they fixed it quickly - no questions asked and no issues.Would definitely recommend looking here if you are in the market for a used car.
