Great experience! We stopped in to see what they had on our way to see another Tahoe an hour away. We saw one we liked but chose to keep our other appointments. We did not buy the other Tahoe as we were unimpressed with the dealer and the safety items that we wanted were not available.We called Vachon and told them we were coming back to drive it.Long story short, Sean sold us a 2021 Tahoe that we loved. Great service and price.I highly recommend Vachon GMC!

Buyer beware. I had the GM compare my 2023 Yukon to a washing machine. I didn t know that $73,000+ compared to $3,000 was a fair comparison. After much run around, they ended up fixing my vehicle which they claimed was a warranty issue even though GMC Corporate told me directly it was not. Hard to trust anyone at this dealership.BUYER BEWARE. Vachon GMC would like people to believe this is a fake review. It is not. I posted under a different name for a myriad of reasons. I picked up my vehicle on October 31, 2022 and I will include a picture from the night I picked up the vehicle at their dealership. The GM, Stew Abramson, compared my truck to a washing machine when I asked about compensation for the damage to my brand new vehicle. He also told me that I was lucky that they got the work approved at a repair shop other than theirs. Apparently Stew isn t familiar with the laws in Connecticut. Again, this is just an accurate review to perspective buyers. Never again.

Mike & Blaire were FANTASTIC to work with. Everything was smooth and just as promised when we took delivery of our new GMC Sierra 1500 AT4. The staff was low key but professional and friendly. We'll be back, for sure!

From start to finish, our experience was top notch! No pressure whatsoever, helped us with all our questions and gave us great options to fit our needs. Our salesperson, Blair, was truly a professional. He was kind and very knowledgeable with each step. Even the management that we dealt with, Mike and Chris (finance) were a pleasure to work with. I know we'll love our new Sierra for many years to come and whenever we need another, I know exactly where we ll go!

This will be my 2nd vehicle from Vachon. The level of professionalism is outstanding. My salesman Alex is my go to. He has sold me 2 vehicles (hopefully an 3rd soon) and it is always a pleasure. No crazy high pressure sales tactics. Alex is a perfect example of how a car purchase should go. His product knowledgeable is unbeatable . He even assisted me on his day off, a true example of professionalism. He introduced to Matt the sales manager who gave me an excellent price on my trade in and streamlined the financing.

I purchase a vehicle from Vachon GMC in March 2023. Purchasing the vehicle was a fine experience, Blair and the rest of the sales team was great (although they almost got me when they charged me an extra couple grand for an extended warranty I said I DID NOT want, but they made that right quickly). Our vehicle was a CPO, however there were several issues, lights and sensors not operational, among other things. The service department was not very knowledgeable about the issues that needed to be fixed, that had been checked off as in working order on the CPO checklist. They fixed the issues though, which was appreciated. The car also did not have any accidents reported, however there has been a large amount of body work, new paint, and even the rear bumper was found to have been glued on, and was uneven and glued to the rear fender.The vehicle developed a ticking sound, which nobody in any of the dealerships has been able to fix, although a lot of work was done to try to fix it (also appreciated). When we received the vehicle back after the work was done (August 2023), there was no oil in it. It was also very much out of alignment, so much so that my front tires were VERY worn (noticed in Nov/Dec 2023). I ve driven this vehicle MAYBE 6,000 miles since I purchased it, they should not be worn anywhere near where they are. When we brought the vehicle in to have it aligned, they said the car was fine, because that s what was on paper in front of them. They did not do an alignment and said the tires were worn because we hadn t properly rotated them. These were brand new tires, which is a requirement for a CPO, and the man in the service department said they were not brand new, but they WERE brand new when I purchased the vehicle. We brought my vehicle to an independent shop to check the alignment (they are extremely knowledgeable and did it the correct way) and found that the alignment was way off. When my husband called Vachon to explain again the alignment issue, the service manager Mark was very rude, very unprofessional and spoke to my husband like he s an idiot (my husband is a mechanic). He provided incorrect information (even I knew to be wrong) and was very argumentative. Not the type of person I d want as my service manager.I have zero faith in the mechanics and service managers at Vachon, for the lack of professionalism and service they have provided, if I can even call it that. I like the vehicle that I purchased, but it should have never passed as a certified pre-owned. I ve had some dealerships and shops try to pull the wool over my eyes before, thinking we know nothing, but not to this extent.I would never recommend or purchase another vehicle from any of the Vachon Dealerships

New car day at Vachon GMC! I had such an easy and seamless experience when picking up my new-to-me 2022 Ford Maverick. Geoff was incredible organized and helped arrange everything with my trade-in. Sean gave me a very thorough walk through of my new truck and was very hospitable during the process. And Matt made handling the paperwork very straightforward and easy! Overall such a great expedience.

My 2022 Vachon Buick Encore was hit by my neighbor's punky tree. There is no Buick body shop that can look to see if it's fixable. Now I'm at the mercy of Arbella and local chop shop that says it is fixable.

This is my second vehicle from the Vachon family of dealerships and it will certainly not be my last. This dealership is about an hour away from my home but they have honest reasonable prices, no untoward sales tactics, and the service is amazing. If you are like me and you find a vehicle that peaks your interest at Vachon but aren't sure if its worth the drive, let me assure you it is!

My trucks transmission had a major leak 2 weeks before we were leaving for Bike Week in Daytona. The service department quickly diagnosed, ordered, and got it replaced in time for my trip. Hats off to David and Jim for working hard to get the job done, and for the technician who did the high quality work on my truck. I feel the entire staff including the warranty administrator Chris went out of their way to get my issue resolved. Fantastic A+ service all around. Stay out of the big cities and make the drive to these folks. Update- made the 2800 miles trip and shifted flawless, quality job well done!

Was smooth start to finish. More like talking to buddies instead of stuffy sales people. Definitely prefer the smaller dealerships as they just seem to give you better service. Overall a painless experience.

All around experience was great!! Mike Moore was phenomenal! He was patient, understanding and dealt with and worked around my busy chaotic life!! This was my first GMC purchase as I was a Ford guy. I worked with Stew and Rick and they were fantastic. I ordered my vehicle and they kept me up to date on the progress. When I picked the vehicle up the transaction was so simple and painless not like other dealerships. I have to say it was the best experience I have had purchasing a vehicle no hassle and just a great group of people. Thanks again and you have a customer for life.Matt A

I went here yesterday to purchase a Yukon XL, and everyone was so pleasant and I didn t feel like I was being pressured. Joe the Champ was amazing and easy to work with. He let me take the car I was looking at out over night so I could get a feel for it before making a decision. Joe, Geoff, and Mike were all very helpful and friendly making the whole buying experience easy and hassle free.

This dealership was previously a certified Cadillac dealer. They performed a transmission exchange per my maintenance schedule & under-filled my transmission on my 2015 Cadillac ATS. The transmission felt sluggish and developed a shudder soon after the work was completed. I contacted the dealership and they stated that this is sometimes normal after a flush. The transmission started to have further symptoms, so I brought it to a local independent shop that is very knowledgeable with GM products and drivetrains. The transmission was found to be over 2 quarts low. The technician at this dealership likely did not follow GM's involved procedure on checking the fluid level before releasing the car to me. This car has no leaks and is well maintained. The underfilled state caused irreversible damage and wear to the transmission. I'm very disappointed and will be furthering this issue.

Dave had the worst customer service skills. I called a week in advance looking to get my vehicle serviced. Made sure he could have a courtesy vehicle. He said he would make sure. I show up for my appointment he tells me he gave the courtesy vehicle to someone else. I took off work to handle this and now I'm out a days pay for nothing. I can't leave my vehicle to get serviced now. Very very poor customer service skills. Very rude on the phone and argumentative with me

Great crew at Vachon. Worked primarily with Blair who was knowledgeable, sincere, and professional. Also worked with Rick and Chris who were personable and experienced. Really had a straight forward, no pressure experience buying my truck from these folks. Will definitely consider visiting them in the future when in the market for a new vehicle.

Dealing with the service department was easy and they called to update me as the work progressed. They checked on the warranty status and applied the deductions as well as set us up with rebate information to help save us more on the cost. Great service great work.

We recently went to Vachon GMC for an Emissions test. When we pulled up there were 2 cars ahead of us, and shortly after 2 more cars pulled in. Shawn, the Technician on duty, was extremely professional, had a calm demeanor, greeted everyone pleasantly, was informative and had a top-notch way about him. He even let us know there was a recent recall on our vehicle that we were not aware of. All things considered, I was pleasantly surprised by my emissions experience at Vachon and it wall due to Shawn and his professional and at ease "I got this" attitude. Just wanted to let you know what a valuable employee you have in Shawn, but I have a hunch you already know. THANK YOU Shawn!

I brought in my 2020 Chevrolet Traverse for a splash guard installation. All of the technicians were very friendly and courteous. They had all four installed within an hour. They look great and will protect my Chevy from dirt and sand wear.
