Dropped a classic military vehicle off. They said no to the job because they couldn't figure out which parts to get and " by the way your window broke when we opened the door". I call back and say I can provide the parts. They said "ok if you can get the parts we can do it". 20 minutes later They call back and say "sorry we'll have to pass". I say "well are you going to pay for the window you broke while it was in your possession? ". There answer was a resounding no so thus the review. Don't waste your time with this shop. Can't make up thier minds and they break things.

Our car was test drove at appt time and called with results. We made the decision, and the car was ready as promised. Customer service was one of the best I've dealt with!

Second time I visited this shop and would not recommend .just get the cold shoulder not very professional at all.

Portland transmission did a repair on my pickup that a number of other facilities were not equipped to do or just didn't want to do it.Portland transmission did the job in a timely manner, was very informative during and after the repair.Fairly priced for the particular job. Less than some estimates but the same as others.

I brought my truck in for a second opinion before spending 6500 on a new transmission and they were able to correct the problem with a reflash on the ecu. Thank you so much for everything you guys have done for me!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I had my 2008 Ford Explorer towed over to Portland Transmission a week and a half ago and picked it up today, it is running better than ever! I had called a few times to check on the status of my car and Mark was so communicative keeping me up to date on the process. I was referred to Portland transmission by a friend and will absolutely be referring this shop out as well.Service: Transmission

Brought my Jeep in with transmission problems. Told them I wanted to add a shift kit and upgraded parts, in order to prevent future problems. Was charged $3200 and upon completion and pickup was told they didn t do the upgrades I asked for. 8k miles later started having issues, brought it back in and was told it was a speed sensor and they replaced it for free. I checked it out and they did not replace anything, all they did was disconnect the battery and reset the computer as a temporary fix. 3 weeks later more problems. Unprofessional, and apparently they lie to customers about what work they can do or have done

Amazing service, rebuilt my transmission wasn't crazy expensive the truck runs amazing. Even made sure they put in heavy duty Parts , I will definitely use them in the future for any thing else I need transmission wise

Incorrectly rebuilt my 700r4 and wouldn't own up to it. Literally 0 miles on it, never even got to drive it, was wrong from the word go, and after trying to give me every excuse in the book he told me because I have a 3000 stall converter it wont roll until I'm at 3000 rpm's LOL this guy has no business building transmissions STAY AWAY! RUN!

Owner's are great people, honest, very reasonable, they have great mechanics very thorough. I feel very confident when I drive away thanks Portland Transmission.
