Jay has been very great with all of my car repairs. He has given us loaner cars when the job will be a day or two. He is very fairly priced. I am so happy I was able to find This honest mechanic.

I have gone to Frankie several times for diagnoses and repairs and every time he has explained his process, was transparent about the cost of everything (including choosing different parts to get a better price upon request), and managed to actually fix my car. I don't think I've ever gotten same day service since the shop usually has 1 bay open/ 1 person available- it's quite small! However, they're honest and go above and beyond to provide the best service! I would recommend them to my friends and family, as I was recommended in that same way!Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

Anyone who left a bad review obviously have nothing better to do with their time. The Car Doctor is the only place I will ever take my car!Frank and Jay are awesome. My husband and I go here whenever we have car problems or if we just need general maintenance. They always go above and beyond. WARNING READ REVIEWS... BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!I should have read reviews before buying a car here.THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS.They will come off friendly & cool even offer a day of fishing with beers weed & hot chicsJust to get you to buy one of their many jalopies . Once you bring it back unhappy they catch attitudes get really rude completely different people & will blame you for everything. Maybe the weed has them thinking they fix cars right. Save your money for a dealership worthy of it these guys are horrible crooks

Im not a fake review. These guys never called me to take this down nor did inask for 1000$ real review! I was a customer who these guys ripped off. I will be willing give a full report on the news... These guys are a rip off & sell lemons. Women do not buy or use these guys they take great advantage of women.

Interacted with the owner through his Facebook. Asked him a few questions about business and he immediately got his back up and began insulting me. There are definitely better people to do business with.

My grandmother keeps taking her car here and every time she comes back something else is wrong with her goddamn car she has put more money into this dump than its worth I do not recommend anyone come here ever!!! They're just going to ruin your car worse than it was in the first place and this isn't the first time I've heard of them screwing around with someone's car. Go here at your own risk or if u have money to waste.

Purchased a vehicle from this location and regretted it ever since.They sell lemons and don't know how to porperly evaluate what is wrong with a car when you bring it to them.Do not waste your time, money or energy dealing with them because they are crooks.If you know anyone in Plainville, ask them about the Car Doctor. Small town, news spreads fast and their reputation is not good.P.S. Might have to start selling lemons in front of their shop to prove a point.

Had a whole bunch of work done on my vehicle at the car Doctor the last job 3500 he repaired my oil pan gasket using a whole bunch of silicone, when I confronted him about this he asked how many miles were on my truck and told me the warranty was over. He didn't even perform the work he was supposed to he was supposed to replace the gasket...Service: Engine repair

Brought my 2003 Audi A4 3.0/6 Speed in these gentlemen. Full clutch replacement including flywheel. Custom engineering as well to the shifter linkage so I didn't have to go OEM. Audi's are expensive enough. Replaced CV axles, all of the A frame arms for the suspension. You name it, these guys tackled it. I AM going to be back because I understand first hand that these guys, know what they are doing!

Bought a car & in less than 2 months the car died after showing issues that were neglected by owner. Tried to work something out with both owners & was treated rudely & unjustly. Bad business with horrible customer service. Now the car just sitting in my backyard. Taking them to court!

Stay away! They pay people for positive reviews. This place should be closed down. They scam me out of thousands & im a single mother.Take your hard earn money elsewhere. Do not trust these guys. One of them even tried hitting on me offering me weed shame on them...

My brother brought his vehicle there for alot of replacements he was charged for a oil pan that was never replaced they only used silicone to cover the leaks they also repaired a torque converter which blew shortly after was covered under warranty and is now blown again a year later they also charged him twice for a catalytic converter job which is also bad again and now refuse to make any of it right they should change the name of this place to scam doctor
