Evan sold us our 2023 Ford Explorer ST that we custom ordered. The whole process from start to finish was very transparent and it was clear he would go above and beyond for his client. Mike- Great hair cut an all- was also amazing to deal with. We now have a badass family car and we are thrilled with our experience with Central Ford. Excited for adventures on the roads. Would absolutely recommend Evan, Mike and Central Ford.

Once again, our friends at Central Ford in Plainfield, CT have exceeded our expectations! After stopping by for our 65 inch TV, which was a bonus for buying our used Cadillac XT5, my husband spotted a new 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands Sasquatch in Eruption Green, parked out front. One unexpected test drive later, we began the painless process of securing financing to purchase the vehicle. Again, there was zero pressure, just friendly, knowledgeable, professional help from the amazing Mike Huling (Ford & Mazda Sales Manager,) and the incredible Peter Sarro, (Finance Director.) This time around we also had the pleasure of working with Sales & Leasing Consultant, Jim Theriault. Jim was extremely personable and helped make the whole process a breeze. We're so grateful for the outstanding team and friendly, casual atmosphere at the Central Auto Group, and we encourage anyone looking for a new or used car to stop by. Got service on my 2013 Ford F150 FX4 the other day, they washed the truck for me after doing my oil change which was very nice.Also, I initially took the truck in a few months back when I was purchasing it from a third party and they had no problem doing the inspection for me. Super solid experience.

Jan. 7, 2023From the first moment we contacted Central Auto Group in Plainfield, CT, we were so happy we chose our neighborhood dealership. We first spoke with Laurel Fittanto, who reached out to us after our initial inquiry online. She was extremely helpful and patient with all our questions. When we arrived at the dealership, we were met by Michael Huling, who had our vehicle warmed and ready for our test drive. He was engaging, polite and made us instantly at ease, while never making us feel uncomfortable or bullied the way some in the business do.Next we met Soraya Neighbors who was to be our sales woman. Soraya was incredibly sweet and friendly. We chatted like old friends while she did all she could to make us feel comfortable and welcome.Finally, we made our way to Peter Sarro s office to sign the paperwork for our new car. We had the best time chatting as he helped us decide on the final details.I have never had such an amazing experience at any dealership. This is how enjoyable and stress-free car buying should be!If you re in need of a new or used car, don t waste your time going anywhere else. Recently bought a new car and had the best buying experience! I worked directly with Jim and he was so helpful and quick to get me everything I needed and in a new car within a few hours! They went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% satisfied. The whole team at Central auto has always been great to us. It was a pleasure working with Jim and the team and we definitely will be purchasing another vehicle through them!

I never go to a dealer for service. Bought a f150 (private sale) had no cruise control so I installed buttons myself t needed to be reprogrammed to activate. Girardi wanted 129 per hour and wanted to schedule for two hours.Central ford charged flat 100 dollar reprogramming fee wether or not they were able to turn it on or not.Made an appointment was taken in promptly 45 minutes later had truck back cruise control working. They even took it out for test drive.Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to go there again and would consider for new vehicle purchase.

Our salesman Jake was wonderful. We went in looking for a specific used vehicle and it was unavailable to test drive because it hadn t yet been serviced. Jake and the sales manager talked to us about other options and we ended up getting into a brand new vehicle with full warranty for only a few dollars more monthly than the used vehicle would have cost. Jake, Mike, Tyler and Peter got us in and out in record time. I would highly recommend buying a car from here.

I had really good experience going here and Mitch was awesome! Both him and manager were very laid back and not pushy like previous dealership I went to. I found the car I've wanted and for good price. I got little lower than I wanted for my trade in but that's too be expected from any dealership so I felt they were fair and respectful. Would definitely recommend!

I bought 2 brand new 2022 VW SUVs from Central Ford. VERY happy with everything from beginning to end. Ricky is our go-to salesman. He's friendly, down to earth, and never makes us feel pressured into anything. Even after the ink was dry, he reached out a few times to see how we liked our new vehicles, and to see if we needed anything explained on the new technology side. Very helpful. Tyler is as fair and honest as I've ever seen. What he tells you he will do... he does. All promises made were kept. That trust earns our loyalty. He made sure we had access to drive anything we wanted, and went above and beyond to make sure we were very satisfied with our purchases. He too reached out to us to follow up on our happiness with the vehicles and offered his help with anything we needed. Peter is a genius with making loans happen and walking us through all the paperwork. He answers every question honestly, and never makes you feel like a burden by asking questions. I left his office with a lot of appreciation for all the loose ends he ties up and red tape he cuts through to get the deals done. This is the only dealership I buy vehicles from. There are a lot of reasons why, as stated above. Friendly and fair as they come.

Thanks god they closed! Ford is Horrible at customer service! Ordered a truck 18 months ago, dealership closes and know no one can locate my order. Ford Corp blames the dealership, the dealership blames Ford Corp. This was my 1st Ford purchase and my last, never again Ford. Looks like I have to start over.

The fact that it's 2021 and your parts department closes at 1PM on Saturdays makes absolutely no sense. Both of the rear hinges for the liftgate glass on my 2012 Ford Escape failed on me the other night. I found a place that could repair it for me as long as I provided the parts. I contact my local dealership only to find out that Ford doesn't sell the hinges as a pair, they only sell them individually, and that they only had 1 of them in stock, and I'd have to either get the part from this dealership or have it special ordered. Rather than wait for it to be ordered, I decided that I would go out on Saturday (The day of writing this review) to get both parts from both dealerships so I could get my truck fixed on Monday. I drove 45 minutes to Flood Ford in East Greenwich RI and got my first part no problem, because their parts department is open until 4PM, I then left there and drove another 55 minutes to this dealership in Plainfield CT, only to find that I had wasted my time and gas and drive an hour and a half back home for nothing, all because your parts department closes at 1PM. Considering Saturdays are the days most Americans have off from work and typically do things for themselves, like working on cars, the fact that you choose to close so early is straight up anti-consumer behavior. After I get my part from you people, I absolutely will not be doing any further business with you in the future and will not be recommending ANYONE go to you for parts, I'd rather go to a junkyard or a pick and pull, at least they have reasonable hours on Saturdays.

On Oct 6th I transferred into a new lease a few months early thinking I could get a newer car with everything I wanted. BIG mistake. I was told it takes them 30 days to buy back a car after I had already signed all of the paperwork! Their finance department gave me extremely vague answers when I called and ask questions about when I will be refunded my last month's payment (I should have immediately cancelled automatic payment, but I thought the transaction would be completed in under a month!). When my lease is done in 3 years I will NOT continuing business with them. It's unfortunate since I had a lovely experience with the my first car and this time with the salesman Neil, but the finance piece has been awful! Ford Credit is still asking me for my payment on a car I haven't had in my possession for a month and a half! Central Ford, please work on communicating with customers that have purchased/leased cars from you. Now my credit is at risk because of their poor communication.

I have already complimented Central Ford-Mazda-VW Auto Group on their friendly, courteous service in an earlier Google review, but part of what makes ANY dealership stand out against all the other "shady" and unscrupulous dealerships is always "Service after the Sale" , including: standing by their responsibility to the car owner of truly maintaining the car to its finest, offering true discounts or free service perks, and even standing by the customer if anything turns up "Lemon" on the car you purchased, warranty period and even afterwards.So far, I have been impressed with Central's service of my 2015 Mazda I purchased in Dec2018. As long as they continue to stand by me, and my car, they have a Car-buying friend for Life.

If I could lower the star rate I WOULD. let's just say MAKE SURE you READ all your financial documents before you put your John Hancock on them. I waited 5 years for my rebate on my extended warranty.5 years or one hundred thousand miles what ever comes fist the financial department head said. You can't take them at there word.I was so happy to know it was time to collect only to find out that's not what my paperwork said... so READ READ READ...

Central Fords staff and finance department is very helpful to get you in a vehicle you want! At the payment you need! Ialways use the service department for my maintance with the coupons they send me in the mail for discounts! Thank you Jared Gilkenson for getting me in my new 2019 Tuson love my ride!

I bought a brand new Mazda3 from this dealer and I did have some issues at the start. But once I contacted the manager he fixed everything and I would give this dealer 5 starts for the effort they put into apologizing and fixing every problem for a customer :)
