Very friendly and quick service for my oil change. They also inspect my car and let me know what needs to be done without overselling and being pushy. Love Newman s!

Someone pointed out a bubble in my tire 30 minutes into a 5 hour drive. Luckily I was near Newmans. They had my tire replaced and me back on the road in about 30 minutes!

I got this auto shop recommended by a friend, honestly it s the most reliable real mechanic shop, truly mechanic shop!They would tell you what you need to fix not like other bad places trying to milk it your wallet. Example I m coming from a dealer shop telling me I need to change all around breaks in my Hyundai Elantra trying to charge me arm and leg When this shop called me saying we changed your back brakes I said what about the front brakes?Lady answered they are perfectly fine for now, we re not that kind of business.Thank you guys for really good service, you got yourself a new customer!

I recently moved back to the area and had a persistent problem with my front end and ball joints. I had my car previously looked at three different times for this issue. I went to the shop on a late Friday afternoon with my old paper work and a recording of the sound that I had been hearing for a year without resolution. They listened patiently and gave me an appointment for the following week. They said they would perform a diagnostic and call me when they knew the scope and cost of the job. Not only did John Newman call me promptly in the early morning with a assessment and cost he said he would complete repairs and test drive it again and call me back. He called that afternoon all finished with the work and it came in at a reasonable cost on parts and labor. As I drive away without the irritating noise, knowing there was no safety issue anymore I was relieved. I will be bringing all our family cars here for service! The staff is helpful, friendly, and cheerful, you d be crazy not to patronize a small local business like this top notch!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

Omg! This is by far my favorite repair shop. I been a mechanic for 20 years. 5 years ago I decided to hanging up and do something else. But if I don t feeling like fixing my cars I always know we re to take it. Multiple time Newman garage has fix my cars and my kids cars and price is reasonable. It is hard for me to trust any garage but John and his wonderful stuff I will always take my cars to my favorite to garage.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

I came in for an alignment but end up leaving with no alignment and 50 dollars poorer. Apparently my bolts were too rusty to service. Welcome to the northeast. I feel like it shouldn t cost 50 dollars worth of labor to determine that. Also there are only two chairs in the waiting room. Finally, my least favorite thing about this establishment is that the receptionist ladies literally smoke cigarettes in the waiting room like we are still in 1970. What a disgusting thing to do. I guess these guys are good for alignments if you drive a car fresh from the dealer.

I was on my way to cape cod and I had a sudden issue, I knew enough about my vehicle to know what the problem was. I showed up and expressed that I was in a bit of a rush. They were the only the place in the area that was staffed, ready and knowledgeable enough to handle my issue.They fixed my truck in under 3 hours and they priced the job fairly. I was surprised at the price actually, as I was prepared to pay more. I m happy my truck broke down next to such an awesome business. I might actually drive 120 miles to get fair work done from them next time I need repairs.Can not recommend them enough.

I got in over my head with replacing control arms and axels on my Hyundai Entourage, but Newman's took care of it for me using my parts. Thanks for finishing the job. They are absolutely incredible, I was driving from Maryland to Massachusetts to pick up my 7 year old son and blew a tire, my car only came with a repair kit which blew up in my face spewing white glue all over me and the entire front compartment of my car. Newmans got a truck out there asap, got me to the shop, replaced two front tires at an incredible price, and let me clean up in their bathroom. So unbelievably helpful and friendly. They made it so I could spend quality time with my so and I'm so grateful.

Newman's worked on my 1960 Ranchero and did great work and was great to work with. Anyone with an old car knows how things go. I ordered all new parts for the parking brake some didn't work. I brought her home and got the parts needed and they fixed her up perfect. Thank you.

I just needed my tires looked at since the pressure light went on. They checked all, put some air in them and did it quickly and didn't charge me. They were all very nice. If I lived in the area, I would definitely be a returning customer.

Great experience!Newmans repaired my vehicle a few months ago. They did excellent work. A part failed, through no fault of theirs, from that original repair work. They basically dropped everything, came and got the vehicle, and made sure the failed part was replaced and vehicle back on the road that day. Outstanding all the way around.

Had my brakes and roters "fixed" I was told my calipers were fine. My car was still making the same noises and I ended up having to fix everything again elsewhere. Very disappointed.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

I brought my 2004 jeep grand Cherokee for a simple tire mount. they locked up a few of my wheel nuts and I had to go back 2 times to get them taken off only to find out they use an impact gun and couldn't care less about the torque specs. its ridiculous how now when I want to do my breaks that I have to wait till this place is open to have them fix there mistake. ridiculous

I was a regular customer till they ruined my son's be Jetta engine they didn't tighten the cam belt tensioner and bent all the valves it cost me thousands to fix they wouldn't stand behind their work screwed me good

I recently was stuck on I95 heading to Providence when my Envoy started over heating managed to make it to Newmans shop and left it there they called me the next date with an estimate and mind you I was having a ruff month with the passing of my grandma and just returning back to work after I had to take a leave of absence they didnt know any of that since I never told them all I said was I need about a week or 2 to come up with the money for repairs and they didnt hesitate to fix my suv for me and hold it in there lot till I was able to pick it up it's not everyday you find people with great customer service they did an amazing job and are very professional and respectful again I never once mentioned nothing of what I was going thru the only thing that went right for me this month was being able to make it to there shop because if I hadn't I wouldn't even have my Suv back I highly recommend Words cant even describe how thankful I am
