Today I wanted to change the oil, so I went to this place and asked the price and how many miles for the oil change, and there was a man there who spoke Chinese and was 50-60 years old , grey hair and had an extremely bad attitude, just the kind of person who doesn't want to do business!

Terrible service. I went for emission , the guy asked me to pay cash $20 then he came back saying to me "your car failed. "I asked for the reason , he said I don't know. I went on the same day to another place and my vehicle was passed. This was a first time I experience this kind of service I was so surprised how customer been treated.

Quick service and reasonable price. One suggestion, get the diagnosis done somewhere else and get it fixed here. Very low cost.He doesn't do road test.

Start off by saying this guy is extremely rude, he will hang up in your face and will not listen to one thing you to say. Brought my 2013 GTI to him with a low oil pressure! shut off engine warning! That would come on at lower RPM and you had to drive the car or let it warm up to show. All he did was say it needed an oil change it's dirty oil even though it was done 2500 mi ago and full. He kept saying see no light... it dirty oil! Said it loud with a big attitude just like that. So I let him change the oil get halfway home and guess what the light comes right back on like I thought it would. Drove it to Volkswagen found out I have a failing balance shaft and they recommend a new motor because I drove on it like that which has probably caused damage. I brought it to hi tech auto telling him I thought it was the balance shaft and can he please check.. he disregarded all of that took me for an oil change and sent me home. I "may" be able to save the car but anyone else who doesn't know anything about cars would have believed him and drove it like that and destroyed their engine. 2 years ago brought a car to him also for a vibration and he swore it was the coil pack,spark plugs and a line all that about $300 and the car was worse when I left. Ended up finding out that was a failed dual mass flywheel. The guys a joke and knows nothing, he is extremely rude. Seems like he has just became a mean old miserable man after the years and I should of never gave them another chance that was my fault.

Benny and Shawn are top notch. I've been going here for years and they always take care of the problem. Nice people, honest service and VERY reasonable pricing keeps me coming back. This is my go-to mechanic to keep my 2007 Toyota running and in the best condition. I highly recommend this shop.

I ve been bringing my cars here for years. Benny is the best most honest mechanic I ve ever dealt with. when he tells you what the problem is That s what the problem is. No surprises or additional fees or charges after the fact When he gives you a price quote it s always that exact amount sometimes even a little bit less. Great place I highly recommend it.

Despite they are busy, they squeeze time to answer the phones. So I can understand that the phone conversation is brief (unlike some posts misunderstood) and I try to keep them short so they can focus on their work!Nice honest people that work here, they charge fair price and they are also certified for emission test. I always go here for small fixes, they are a trustworthy local shop.

my family has been coming here for years, and throughout that time, they told me benny just got more and more rude. perhaps he has gotten way busier than before, but it's been pretty unpleasant working with him.not only that, but he also made our brakes worse and repeatedly said that everything is fine. when we told him that it's still not good, he just shrugged. didn't even shake my hand when i introduced myself, on top of that. never coming back.

I've been bringing my car to High Tech for years! Ben has always been so helpful and efficient whenever I need maintenance done for my car and his prices are so affordable! A dealership tried to charge me over $100 to snake my AC line which takes 3 minutes. High Tech took me in immediately without scheduling an appointment. Benny has VERY poor customer service skills. He continually asked for my keys before he could confirm my question if he could do an emissions test. He then got stuck in a loop of saying keys! keys! keys! Everytime I asked him the question. Eventually he melted down with a couple of words of profanity, which fortunately for him have little effect on me. I found it quite entertaining putting him straight with a few choice words of my own. His coworker Shaun stepped in and handled the situation as it should have been. One star due to Benny's idiotic customer service.

DO NOT COME HERE! I came here for a second opinion because my check engine light came on. The guy named Ben was very rude and dismissive from the start. I asked him to look to see what the issue might be, he did not seem to know. He manually did something to make the check engine light go off WITHOUT fixing the issue. He assured me everything was ok. I left and my car shut down at the red light and would no longer accelerate when I pushed on the gas. My car was driving just fine before I came here!

Ben is Awesome!!! He has been taking care of my vehicles for about 20 years. Best mechanic around. Very honest and he gets it right all the time. Shawn is da best right hand Ben has. If Ben can't fix it, Shawn will. I will always refer customers to this shop.

I will never take my car here again. They are dishonest. Benny lied about ordering parts and then wanted to charge $320 dollars more than what was on the estimate for the repair.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

This is by far the worst auto shop experience I ever had. I tried getting my AC compressor replaced and Ben told me I didn't have the right part. He tried ordering the right compressorthrough his contacts but with no success. Instead of reinstalling the old part he decided to install the new part which he already said was not the right part and still charged me $230 for something he didn't fix. Now I'm stuck with a $560 part that's doing nothing for my car. I lost $800 because of him only focused in making a profit. Do not waste your time and money coming to this place.

Ben's extremely dismissive and impudent attitude needs no further explanation; see prior comments. Their lack of professionalism gives me the sense that they have no basic understanding of what they are doing. I was requested to pay $1,000 for AC issues and $1,500 to replace the brake system. After consulting with local work shops, it became clear that their diagnosis was incorrect, and I was asked to pay around a third less for considerably superior service. In today's world, I am unable to justify the existence of such a business. Stay away!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Wish Shawn had more input on fixing vehicles, turn away customers if a big job is needed. Need to listen better when requesting repairs. Owner Ben is beyond rude and does not take the time to hear you explain your issues with your vehicle. Got cursed at because I needed a job done and he said it's going to take 2 hours just to bypass me for other cars. Never would recommend anyone to him.

I had a passenger window in my BMW that wouldn t go up and needed a new window regulator. I checked prices in the Orange area, at Lemay Auto, up the street, he wanted 450. The owner here charged me 260. Took two hours, and was honest about pricing and timing and used genuine BMW parts. He is definitely a little quirky, he kind of berates you in a funny way, I didn t mind his humor at a fraction of the cost to go somewhere else and get swindled. I had a check engine light that came on. I got estimates from 2 other shops and they were asking in the $300 range. I took it to this shop and had it repaired for just over $100 bucks. Been going here since !!! 3+ years and going. Basically a no frills auto garage. Very affordable oil changes. This shop tends to get busy so early mornings are the best time especially if you want to wait around for an oil change. Decided to write this review because finding a good mechanic is difficult and can be stressful. Cannot go wrong with these guys. Brought my car in for an emission's test around 9am...in and out in about 20 mins.

Been customer for many, many years and have brought new customers as well! Told me me bring my car in next day to replace my radiator and charged me flat rate over phone. My car sat there all day and was told by Shawn next they would get to it if they had time. When I went to pick up car Ben charged me double what he said since 4 hrs of labor and was only 2 1/2 ! Ben got very defensive , rude, called me lier several times, and cursed several times stormed into his garage. I never felt so humiliated and belittled since there were many customers in VERY small waiting area. I think he should be fined for not obeying 6 FEET social distancing!

There two professional mechanics in this car repair shop. Gerenally they did professional repair work and Benny would not charge you if there was just a very minor issue, which is wonderful. If your car is going to do a major work, you better google "car repair labor time guide" first. I have brought my car here numerous times and have always been impressed by the lower-than-expected prices and same day service. I almost don't want to share this little secret with the world. One time a dashboard panel was loose so I pulled in to the lot, the tech put a screw in no charge and I was on my way. Recommended.

I have been coming here for about a year after a recommendation from a co-worker. They are less-expensive than the dealer. Some dealers' hourly rates are $125 an hour while High Tech's is the standard $85. They will not fix something if they are not sure that will solve the problem, so you may leave without the problem solved, but they will not just start replacing everything in hopes that the problem will be alleviated, like some places.Although if you tell them what you want done, that will be fixed only and they will not start adding on stuff like other places might.

Broke down on the Merrit Pkwy. Had my truck towed there at 2:30 in the afternoon with a destroyed water pump and serpentine belt. Called my at 4:20 that my truck was all set. Great fast service at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

High Tech Auto is the best garage in the area. They are honest, straightforward, and reasonably priced. Benny and Howie will treat you right! Everyone at my work has been using them for years.

Ben is amazing, he always knows what s wrong and fixes it right away. My family has been going to him for over 30 years. Anything goes wrong with our cars and Ben is there.
