Everyone here is great from John to Jen, to Joe, everyone! This is my go-to place for fuel and to get my Mini Coopers fixed. And they don't rip you off!!! They charge accordingly and explain everything. They don't assume you know nothing about your car. They actually listen, even to a woman. Love these people! They're an old-fashioned garage of my childhood in the modern age. I definitely recommend them!

Fast, friendly service! No appointment needed for emissions testing, just drive up from the rear of the building to the emissions bay (farthest from the store). John, the technician, was very helpful and kind. The convenience store has a waiting area while your vehicle is serviced, with a cheerful cashier. Overall a great experience, I'll be back!

Simply wonderful, professional, kind and accommodating people and service, from top to bottom. We were visiting the area from DC and our car developed a severe coolant leak. Out of nowhere, we limped into this extremely busy shop and they made time for us on a 100� Saturday. The boss diagnosed the problem in under a minute, and we were back on the road in under an hour for less than $50. At every stage of this experience, we were treated with kindness and respect. If we lived in this area, we would make this our regular mechanic! I can t say enough good things about the capable, wonderful men who looked after us. Our experience here totally changed the day we were having, and I m so grateful our problem happened where and when it did- I don t know if any other shop would have gone over and beyond like they did. Three cheers for Ben s Shell service!!

I had my latest oil change here and I have my car serviced here as well Excellent customer service with a family/friendly atmosphere. Complementary coffee and glove mitts are always available for customers to use and enjoy

I can't say enough about the guys here who came through for me last minute ! What started with changing out a flat Joe was able to get all four rims and tires swapped out for my stock tires for the winter plus an oil change! Thank you again Joe for all your help ! As busy as this garage is they will find the time to accommodate you and I highly recommend to everyone to go there.Mike

Ernie fixed my Audi exhaust and I mentioned to him I had an unbearable clicking in my wheel. He checked it out on a lift jack and gave it an unbelievable diagnostic.He pointed out that a screw on my control arm was not tightened!!! A screw! Then He fixed that. That s expertise if u ask me!!!I recommend that u go to Ernie!He is honest, professional, quick and he is always around.But Ernie really fixed my car and I feel like it s brand new again.Services: Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair

Ernie, John and Ken are the best. They always give top tier, efficient, quality service. Especially Ken. Him and Ernie are always happy to help and a pleasure to work with. They ve checked my emissions, installed my new headlights, patched a hole in my tires when I had a slow leak, and will also be doing my next oil change because Ken says he can do it better than a competitor up the street. Great service!!!! I had emissions done here and it was so easy! I forgot the name of the man who did it but he was so nice. There were 4 cars ahead of me and it went very quickly. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. You get the feeling like everyone knows everyone and you're treated very well.I would highly recommend Ben's.

Ken Walker, was nothing but professional from A-to-Z. I told him I was having a problem with my car and we went through the whole list of what the problems can be. Once we found out what was the issues we made a list went out to get the parts and a day later. He was able to work his magic to get my car to 100%. He communicated and let me know what was going on throughout the whole process to the car for a test drive came back and said he had to do some adjustments when he took it for a second test drive, the car was perfect all in all thank you, Kendrick, driving a car there and now driving a car back home is a total difference. Thank you again highly recommend to use himdriving a car there and now driving a car back home is a total difference. I went to see if I could get my signal light looked at after having a slight accident. Not only was the owner the most nicest person and explained what and where I needed to go for fixes, but he had one of his guys kenny look at it for me. Kenny was able to just plug the signal light right back in and it was working!! I couldn t have asked for a better service center, I always go to bens!! These guys go over and beyond for their costumers, and this is not my first time coming to them!

Ben s Shell Service Center was great! I went in for an emission test, and it was an easy and timely process. The staff was friendly and extremely welcoming. I will return here again for service.

I've been getting my car worked on by Ernie for some time now and this place is the best! Everyone who works here is soo nice and professional, but also about their business! I bring the list from my dealership of their recommended repairs and Ernie does them all for me, explains everything to me, and all for reasonable prices. Most importantly, I trust him working on my vehicle-alot of mechanics just want your money but do half jobs. I'll continue to tell everyone I know about this place!

Ernie Burton knew the problem with my car immediately and fixed it quickly on a Sunday morning. I am very impressed by their skill and am confident they did a good job on the car. I ve been driving for a total of 10 years now and I ve been beat for my money, misled, and taken advantage of because I am a female. It is very hard to find someone that you genuinely trust and actually does the work that they are hired to do! Ernie really shed light on my situation. I sent my car to him through word of mouth and I prayed that he would do right by me. Not only did he go above and beyond and exceed my expectations, he kept me involved and made sure I was aware of the things that needed to be fixed in my car. He even provided photos! Very thorough, and the team behind him was very pleasant since day one. I could never thank him enough!!! Great mechanics goes unnoticed because of all of the fraud ones that are out here!!! Special thanks to ERNIE And also I want to thank his team for supporting him!!! Great place!! Highly recommended

Ernie helped me out with an issue today and diagnosed the issue within minutes of bringing my vehicle in. He was kind and courteous and explained everything to me and resolved the issue! This man deserves a raise! I'll be coming to this service center in the future for all my service needs!

Did an awesome job fixing the coolant leak on my daughter's truck. Had a few freeze out plugs that needed replacing and Ernie and Bobby did a great job with it. I will definitely recommend this shop to my friends

If i could give them 10 stars i would . I did not think my car would ever pass emissions after a small fortune spent between Ben's and 2 other garages the car would not communicate with the emissions system instead of trying to soak me for even more money Bobby called emissions they came down and my car FINALLY passed. I would definitely go back to them very honest place hard to find an honest mechanic others wanted me to spend even MORE money and what they wanted to do the check engine light would have come back on. THANKS A MILLION MY SATURN IS FINALLY BACK ON THE ROAD!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I had my emissions test done here about a month and a half ago and failed because we d just had a new battery put in and the computer wouldn t accept it. John suggested we drive it around to help reset it and come back for the free retest. Well I just got done with the retest and everything checked out! Each test took less than 10 minutes without an appointment. The employees are super nice, personable, and helpful!I highly recommend Ben s! Ignore the single star reviews, they really are false. Thank you guys for making our transition to life in Connecticut easier!

Pat and Ernie at Ben's Service Center are awesome and went out of their way to help me in an emergency. I was about 30 minutes away from home when I realized a piece on the bottom of my car was dragging on the ground. I found this shop and asked if they could help so I could get back home. Even though it was after hours and I didn't have an appointment, they did everything they could to make sure I got home safely. I would highly recommend this business as they were very helpful and kind! Thank you!

I came to CT from Jersey Shore to pick up my mother and my car started shaking when I was ready to head home. Got up today on a Sunday and started calling around- no mechanics available. A family member said he d call Ernie. Thank goodness for him being available on a Sunday! He diagnosed my car, gave a reasonable estimate, got a piece delivered, and had my car running smoothly within a few hours! When I picked up my car he made sure to give me details on the fix, so that I d feel comfortable with the work he did. I m actually excited for my 3 hour ride back home! Lol Thanks, Ernie!!

I had to wait for 2 hours to get my EMISSIONS done at the last shop I went to.I went to Ben s shop and was in and out within 4 minutes. I timed it, literally.Very respectful and professional, kind to women! I didn t get scammed, $20 in and out, didn t touch my belongings in my car.Ernies a great, respectable guy. I highly recommend this shop, don t even bother with the others.The bad google reviews are spam, and fake.

I came to this location to get something out of my tire, the guy was very nice, and fixed the issue quickly. I tried to call today to inquire about pricing of a few things that I wanted to get serviced, but the guy at the front desk kept hanging up on me. He keeps putting me on hold, and then just hangs up completely after a minute. After the third time, I gave up..

I was referred here by my sister and I am so satisfied with this business. Nice friendly customer service, conveniently opened 7 days a week, and very reasonable prices. Ernie is so awesome, he lets you know everything that is wrong with your car. I highly recommend this business you will not be disappointed.

Amazing work. A part was not available on site and instead of holding the car over night. John drove over 30min to get a part to ensure I d have my car for work early next morning. Only place I m bringing my car for any issues. Not that it matters but I drive an Audi s3 and they knew what they were doing. Couldn t be happier with the outcomeService: Electrical

I'm just loving this company right now especially the mechanic Ernie. I was in the process of traveling to PA when my driver's side window stopped working with the window not being able to go back up I thought I would have to change all my plans to travel. I did go to Pep Boys to be told they can not assist me, now what do I do? As I was passing by Ben's I seen they was opened so I decided to try my luck to see if they can assist me. Then I met Ernie as he stopped what he was doing to check out my car he figured out my drivers side master window switch needs to be replaced. Ok so for now until I'm able to get that part which needs to be ordered my only concern was to see if we can get the window closed so i can get back to my travels. Yes he did what needed to be done and got it shut for me now me and my daughter can continue with our trip to PA. Thanks so much Ernie for helping me out at a time that i desperately needed it. As I wait for the part to come plus get to enjoy my little getaway as planned I will be giving all my business to Ben's as you have gained a new very satisfied customer. Thank you so much for your time and great exceptional service.

100% recommend Ben's! I have 3 vehicles and Ben, John, Ernie, Jay and his son Bob take care of all of them. I have many friends I have recommended him to, and they are all life long customers.A blessing to find an honest and experienced auto mechanic!
