My wife an I just bought a 2017 GMC Terrain SLE from here on 4/20 every was going great during the buying experience but once we drove it home and parked it for the night is when the issue started. I went out the next morning to start the SUV an it didn t want to start so I took my wife s car and jumped it thinking hey maybe I left the head lights on or something but that wasn t the case at all. I took the SUV down to Autozone and had them test the battery which turned out to be the issue it has a dead cell in the battery. So I called them and left them a message asking them to replace the battery since we had just bought the SUV days earlier they have refused to replace the battery and wanted tocharge $250+$30 for the core charge. I called Autozone and asked for a price on a new battery and they told me $120+$5 for the core charge so not only did they refuse to honor the 30 warranty they tried to charge us $155 more than the actual cost of the battery. So of course i paid the Autozone price and once the battery was changed out my mechanic told me I was lucky because if I had drove it around one more day the battery would have exploded and I probably would have lost the whole car. I will never go back to them for a vehicle.

Our cousin bought a Nissan 2 wks ago and now the transmission went out on it. And there basic reaction was buy it as is. So too bad for you. A good faith would be to give her some money back or get it fixed. DONT BUY FROM THEM!

Multiple people I know, including my mother have been gouged and sold lemons. The cars break down as within weeks of purchase and they offer ZERO protection. My mother's vehicle for example broke down within days of purchase and they told her "buyer beware". Awful, vile, terrible people that take advantage.

Ana and Jose went above and beyond to accommodate my requests and get me into the vehicle of my choice. They both have exceptional customer service skills and care about their customers. Ana was very understanding about my situation and made it possible for me to get a vehicle. Everything Ana promised me she delivered and then some! She is a seller true to her word. They are horrible business!!!! Lawsuit lawsuit that all I gotta say!!! The owner sells not working cars, they are scammers, stilling the little bit of money people have. I went there humble telling them how am a single mom and need a reliable car, and they sold me a car that in 3 weeks broke down on me. All they did was take a way the engine light and a few days it came back. But this business needs to get shut down and pay all the money back!!!!!! They literally said they couldn't do nothing for me after I went back 3 weeks after I took the danm car!

I cant say enough about the customer service that Anna and her staff provided me with the purchase of my new car! She made sure that i had a safe and like new car! My safety was of her upmost concern and for that i am grateful. Highly recommend coming and supporting this small business for a new to you vehicle!!!

I purchased a car not even 2 weeks ago from this dealership. It was the biggest hassle. When trying to get my deposit back and back out they would not let me and now the car will not start and they are refusing to help fix it.

We got into a car situation where our old car motor went. We called James auto and Anna and Jose were excellent. They took care of us and got us in a car right away was an easy process. I highly recommend them to everyone. It was a great experience I will be returning and recommending them to everyone..

0 STARS! BIGGEST SCAM OF MY LIFE. Bought an suv here because I needed more room for 3 kids. They told me it went through emissions, they lied it never did. Light came on day after leaving and it was a catalytic converter code...then got a notice in the mail saying emissions was due like 2 weeks later. I should've known better. These people played me good. Now I have an extra car payment with a car that's falling apart and can't pass emissions and of course way too many problems to even fix. I am beyond disgusted. I hope they read this. I don't know how these types of people sleep at night ripping off honest hard working individuals.

This is the worst place to buy a car.Do not go there.If you do go there make sure you make them put any little thing they say they will do on paper and make them sign.Nothing they say is true,they rude and mean,specially the Spanish guy by the door.He can be racist too,asking me if I don t understand English trying to be disrespectful cause he got caught lying!I got a car from them,while test driving the car I pointed out some stuff that needed to be done,like my brakes,a tire system light that was on.When I came to pick the car up they didn t keep their words,nothing was done,the Spanish guy told me it s my fault cause i didn t have them put it on paper.they cheated,only and poorly fixed the back brakes didn t realize it until Firestone told me.they had me dropped my car off to replace two of my censors only because I had given them a lot of pressure, they wanted me to believe light was on cause my tires needed pressure.they had my car for two days and never fixed it!why would you have me dropped it off to just keep it there?I needed my car for work!the Spanish guy got very upset and mean, closed the door on my face and told me if I take the car to never come back That old lady is horrible (the owner)Karma will get y all James auto customer service is trashhhhhhhh.

great service and worked with us very well. We were satisfied with our purchase. As for Jaxsons Comment if the GMC was in such bad shape he wouldn t have made it to WISCONSIN with my vehicle.

Do not give your money to these crooks. If they can get you approved anywhere else can. Run! Run away from here as fast as you can. You will get screwed over (nice and dry too)one way or another. Believe the reviews. Don't believe the lies that come out of Anna's mouth. You will get put into a crappier situation than you were in before you started dealing with this place. LIARS & CROOKS. No stars if possible. This place is shady and skirts around the messed up legalities in this state. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS PLACE.

BEWARE!!!!The woman that owns this place is a disgrace.. she will sell you a horrible car in horrible condition and uses illegal measures to make sure she makes a sale on a vehicle.. watch out for Matilda s step mom!!! She doesn t care about you, your family, or your life. You have better luck buying off Craigslist then this poor excuse of a woman

Just bought my second car from James Auto. Had a really great experience just like the first time. They had great selection of cars to choose from, so picking the right car was not a problem at all. After that everything from financing to registration worked flawlessly - not a single delay. The whole crew, especially Anna, worked really hard to have the car delivered on time as I was promised. Highly recommend! I would surely buy from them again when the time comes.

Great people there!! I wrote this review on BBB and going to posted here also. My personal experience with James Auto in Norwich was a very positive one. I have never in my life financed anything or have good credit. However Anna helped me find the car that I have been looking for so long. I have to admit that Anna is the sweetest person I have ever met in my life. She is very honest and willing to help those who need it. She helped me find a loan for my new car. I greatly appreciate all the help in every step of buying my new car. She was very patient with me and worked hand in hand to make it possible. In addition to this, she has a good team that made sure that everything was in order with the purchase of my vehicle. Jose was always in communication with me with all the details about the insurance and the entire process with the DMV. Love this guy !! He is great guy. I really really like him. In my other hand the manager of the service department was always very honest with me, I think his name is Damian or Demian, he made sure that my car was in perfect condition for my daily use. I am extremely grateful to them. If you ask me where you can get a good used car at a good price in excellent condition like my car, I will definitely tell you JAMES AUTO. Thank you for help me find my deam car. Thank you all.

Went to 2 dealerships prior to James auto, BEST service by far. Needed a new car and a good deal and it was exactly what I got, Jose helped me find the best fit and had me leaving with a big smile on my face! 10/10 recommend

Anna and her husband are amazing!! They've helped me and my husband, plus our son each buy a car over the last three years. They work so well with you and understand the business of car selling as dealers and as actual humans. Most dealers are so cheesy and dishonest, but Anna at James Auto literally cares about you and your car and making sure you get the best. Definitely coming back here the next time me or one of my friends need a car.

I felt like I was pushed into purchasing a vehicle from here, very aggressive selling tactics. I bought a used 2007 dodge 1500 from James auto and the truck lasted around a month and a half then it started having electrical issues. The truck blew a head gasket and now I m out $8,000 and a truck. Do not recommend.

I went to this dealership looking for a second option as I was stuck in a problem with a different dealership. In the beginning everyone was very nice. I dealt with Anna Smotrich and their service lead Damian. They gave me advice, etc. In the meantime, we put down a small amount of money to put a vehicle on hold just in case. When we had finally decided that we would like our money back, which we were told over the phone would not be an issue, the entire vibe changed. They stopped answering phone calls and all so we decided to go in person. Immediately the staff was very hostile. The only person who could authorize refunds supposedly left right when we got there and her husband grew disrespectful when we started asking questions. He raised his voice at my significant other, walked away from him, told him he wasn t going to speak to us anymore so I told him calmly that I didn t appreciate the lack of professionalism and I would be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. We later called back to see when Anna would return to get the refund and he asked if we were recently there and hung up on us. I also was mocked on the phone being told that I gave him so little money why did it matter? Why was it a big deal. Damian even said to me, I ve had 30,000 dollar deposits in my pocket before and you re worried about this little sum of money? YES SIR!! YES I AM!! Because I work hard for my money and I have a family to provide for. Hours later I received a phone call from Damian (the service guy) stating that he would be issuing a certified check through the mail as the owners don t want me or my significant other on their property. When I truthfully did nothing wrong here!! Very very unprofessional and I ve heard from people I know personally that these people are big scammers as well that sell broken vehicles!! be cautious. I work in customer service and even I know better than to address clients the way they do when things don t go their way!

Bought a 2004 jeep liberty exactly 30 days ago, and it is already in the shop because of a coolant leak. The entire buying process was a huge mess, and the service was less than satisfactory. Very rude owner who acted like I was bothering her. Wouldn't let me test drive the car on the road due to the fact that it hadn't undergone a safety test, which is something that should be done immediately. The owner was also using the car despite the lack of safety check, and took it to Washington D.C. and back so the advertising mileage was not the exact mileage. The car was not ready for pick up on the day the owner said it would be, but instead 3 days later, and the alignment was never done, which is something they said they were going to do.

I got a 2009 FORD black suv it was clean ran great. They even let me test drive it. The people that work at James auto are very professional & dependable people. Who stand by their word 100%. Best place I ever been to.

Great scam going on here. Sell you a car with a 50/50 warranty, problem is they never really fix the car before they sell it to you so you have to come back and pay for half the parts that should have already been put in your car prior to sale. We needed to get an attorney our car broke down the first time within 24 hours - had duck tape over a hole in the radiator, one week later car is dead. They do not stand behind their word or their cars. BUYER BEWARE!!!

I purchased a 2003 Nissian Altima from this place. I was a first time buyer and wasnt sure how it worked. 10 months later my suggestion would be not to purchase a car from James Auto unless you plan on paying monthly payments while your car sits at a garage and no one seems to know why it wont start sometimes. i understand its a used car but I bought it 10 months ago it had 87T miles on it. it now only has 89T 2T miles in 10 months the rest of the time its been broken. I would just give up but why should i suffer with a huge hit on my credit because i thought i was buying a half decent car that would last more then a month. now i pay to rent a car to get back and forth to work after then rental is paid along with my car payment and insurance im broke. Honestly i wouldnt recommend anyone to waste there time or money. also they staff there is very rude. i purchased my car she told me id have it the nexted day. i didnt get it till 2 weeks later and it was only given to me because i wanted it or my money back also they gave me dealer plates and again was told id get my plates in 2 days had the dealer plates for a month. i was never offered to test drive or even hear the car run before purchasing it. they saw me a a new commer and Deffiently blindsided me into buying a hunk of junk attached to metal.

Bought a car and though the price was right there were several HIDDEN issues with the car such as rust that was painted over and a sunroof that leaked the first time it rained. The hood latch broke because it was jury rigged. THey claimed leaky sunroof and improperly fixed hood latch were not their issue. Their customer service is poor at best after the sale. Before buying they were very helpful....not at all after.

I went down to James auto (A-List Auto also) and I dealt with the manager at A-List, His name was David and he took great care of me, and I got a fantastic car for a great deal. I would recommend David and James Auto to anyone, in fact my sister is going down there shortly because of how helpful David was..Thanks Again to David & Anna!!!A+++
