My experience was excellent at Firestone Complete Auto Care in Norwich, CT from start to finish! I requested an appointment late Friday night for the next morning at 11 AM. I received a phone call before 9 AM to collect additional information and confirm my appointment. Everyone was so helpful and friendly while offering answers to my questions. I will recommend Firestone to my friends and family.

NEVER BELIEVE THEM. They told me my head gasket was blown and it would be $3200 to fix. It was my thermostats. Cost me $50. They told me there was a small leak in my rack, labor $400 and the part is $1192. I replaced the rack in my truck on my own 2 years ago. Part was 120, took me 2 hours, not the 4 their Professionals would need. Tires, maybe. Alignments and whatnot, sure. Otherwise STEER CLEAR

The staff called within 10 minutes of making my online appointment confirming all of the work that I had requested. I was in and out at the location within what I considered to be very reasonable time. The staff was respectful and professional. Overall, a good experience.

Just a really nice group of guys. I mean above and beyond nice, but very very professional and very knowledgeable.I really don't think that I have had a better experience than I had at this shop.They are way above a 5......I give them a 10+Thank you so much for your help

The reason for the score of 10 (highest possible) is the consistency of good service I get when I go to the Firestone in Norwich, CT. I bring 4 vehicles to Norwich Firestone, I ask a lot of questions about the service & the invoice & I always get the answers, more importantly I always get satisfaction. They are quick to remedy any problem, erring on my side every time. Great customer service, great techs! (this rating comes from the Firestone questionnaire, hence the rating of 10, for Google I rated it 5 stars).

Very professional! All work done on time with plenty of updates on how the process was going. Never felt uncomfortable or ripped off! I will go again soon with my other vehicle. Rather go here than anywhere else!

Went online to check out tires prices and make an appointment, put 4 tires in my cart to be installed made an appointment for the next day, appointment was confirmed, show up to get the tires done.Thats when it all went down hill, the tires that they listed on the website that WAS AVAILABLE not even 12 hours later were "not in stock" however, they had other tires available, at about DOUBLE the original cost. When I mentioned what I saw online they said "that's not an accurate inventory, this is what I have available for your vehicle"......BULL, you were trying to get me to spend more money, Maybe the other ones were no longer in stock, if that was the case, then maybe you should contact the customer PRIOR to coming into the store and inform them so they can make a decision rather than be put on the spot when standing in your store. You are crooks, I will never step foot in that store, nor will I EVER recommend you to ANYONE!!

Not impressed. Paid for a full diagnostic and was told I would get a call on a Monday to schedule service due to my warranty being on a timeline. Never got a call. Called on that Wednesday and was promised I d get a call by Friday. Never happened. Extremely poor ethics. Would never visit again.

A big thank you to the manager Dan, Darryl and the crew. They worked hard to get all issues with our two cars resolved. They fixed things with one of our cars that two other shops couldn't figure out. They were patient, kind, and thoughtful. I made an appointment at least 10 days in advance. I took the day off from work and while I am driving I get a flash up on my phone that they are too busy and need to cancel. I have been at the establishment before when people walk in for there appointment and was told to reschedule. Under staffed as all hell!!! Save your self the headache! When I called I got this guy on the phone who was short and told me there booked out for at least a week and a half. Well guess what buddy so the hell was I!!! I will stop going there! They simply do not care enough about the one who puts money in there pockets the customer! I am done with Firestone!!!!

Not sure where to begin except do NOT DEAL WITH THE MANAGER at this location. He is the rudest most uncaring person!!!! My son had more issues with his car leaving then he did when he brought it, the manager wouldn t even take the time to look at it never mind fix it. We called corporate we got a call from Darrell who works at this location what a fabulous person fixed the issue that was caused by the mechanic and dropped the car back off. I NEVER GOT the call I was promised from the district manager NOT happy about this at all!!!! The problem was fixed but the manager sent my son on his way 2 times with a unsafe car!!! My son missed 2 days of work!!! Where is the compensation for this??? Why didn t the DM call me as promised after 48 hours!!! Terrible customer service when you call the 800 number. Thank you Darrell for all you did though to help, you should be the manager!

Went there to have engine light fixed for emissions. Needed an evaporative emissions canister vent valve and they put in a timing belt which wasn't needed. And they wanted to continue with engine work. Doing work that wasn't needed to remove light but charging large fees to make money. Went to a reputable repair shop and past emissions next day. Not recommended for your service needs.

We will never be going back again. $100 for an oil change even after having $15 off. That s ridiculous. If we would have know before they started we would ve just left and gone somewhere else.

Husband called days in advance, they told him to drop his car at 7am. And they d get to him. They told him that they d call at 1pm to tell him what time/ if anything is wrong with his tires. (They were going to change his oil and then see if his tires were okay.Well. 1pm rolled around, nothing. My husband called they said he was going to just change the oil and that there were three cars ahead of his.By 3 we called again. Same story.It s now 5pm, we called and they said tomorrow. My husband works, they promised to have it done not sure I believe them.Services: Tires, Oil change

This business has been going downhill for a few years now.When I relocated here, eight years ago, and began using this facility, they were great! friendly, responsive and accommodating.However, over the last two years, the have developed a history of rudeness toward their customers, not honoring appointments, making excuses for poor performance by the counter people and telling customers "how busy they are..." (making excuses about why they can not honor road hazard repairs in a timely manner.

Quickest Emission test today. Firestone staff were friendly, greeted promptly.Recent service, Jan 2024, customer representative greeted upon entry to location and quickly processed appointment information in about 3 minutes. Service Advisor informed me of the findings and ensured service was done quickly and efficient. Less than 45 minutes in location.

Dan was warm, respectful, patient and respectful during a discussion of the preventative maintenance, checks and services for our 70,000 mile, nine year old Toyota RAV4 XLE. His advice made sense to us and he willingly bore our every question without derision. We decided to schedule all the repairs he suggested to keep our vehicle running for another 10 years or more. This is one of the best automotive repair shops we have had the pleasure of dealing with and they have never overcharged us. We will continue to give them our business.Highly recommended.

After being told by another business that I needed a new battery for my 2018 Subaru outback and that they couldn't install it, was sent to Firestone in Norwich. Ryan saw me as an emergency (since I was on my way back yo NY) and tested the battery and i was told battery did not need replacement. He said i should make it home safely and to call him when I arrived home. Went above and beyond. Will definitely use this business in future.Service: Battery

My son's car went in for a repair and now it's not drivable and has to get towed. I will never bring any car here again. The way these people have spoken to my son and how the handle the situation. Best to stay away

I went in to get an issue with my windshield wipers resolved. $600 for a new wiper transmission plus I was quoted for further repairs. I made the mistake of agreeing to get the rear drums 'inspected'. I was promised a ride back to the shop and waited 3 hours before finding out this wasn't communicated to the staff. When I picked up the car the next day there were loose parts from the old transmission on the engine bay. And when I drove it out the brakes squealed and felt squishy. This was NOT an issue prior to visit, contrary to their claim. If these new issues don't resolve on their own, they'll be hearing from me again. Strongly advise against these guys!

I came in with a nail in my tire. I was told that the only way I could have it fixed was to leave the vehicle all day. They did have a few folks in the waiting area so it's not like they just didn't want to do the work. I understand the concept of first come first served. I also understand the concept of multi tasking. Having worked in the industry myself, both in sales/ service writing and as a tech, I know how a simple nail in a tire can turn into a full set of new tires. My former employers would have taken me behind the wood shed if I had let that potential sale walk. Needless to say, I did not leave my truck there all day. The only reason they are getting two stars is that the guy behind the counter was at least courteous and professional when he told me to kick rocks.

The staff was great and worked very fast. I took my 2 year old daughter with me and she is super hyper and very curious (like most toddlers). She was all over the place and the staff were very polite and understanding. She had a blast and I got my emissions checked all within 20 minutes! I was 3rd or 4th in line and they still got it done quickly.
