I don t understand why anyone could leave a bad review of this Valvoline! They are THE best ever! I have been coming to them for years and they have always been so nice! Today was no different, I had the pleasure of meeting Jesus, who nicely greeted me, explained everything AND even found a nail in my tire and recommended a tire store nearby to get a patch! The Topside gentleman was Samuel whom was just as nice, and even though I didn t meet the Bottomside gentleman Francisco he had the oil changed in no time!! Highly recommend this particular Valvoline to go to, you won t be disappointed! They are truly amazing there!!

I forgot why I stopped going to Valvoline, and after my visit yesterday, I remembered!I actually went to Valvoline because Monro down the block couldn t fit me in.To begin, I was lied to! I was informed by the first guy I would get a $10 discount, and he would supply it. Another guy came to me and tended the register and told me I had to get the coupon online it was only $7 off.Then it s the up sale for services you DON T need! I hate hearing that!Then they didn t offer to top off my coolant, i had to use my own, I was asked would you like me to look at your air filter!? When did an oil change service stop offering a full lube job check system!? It was a weird experience.Last but not least, I got full synthetic oil and my sticker is dated for me to get my oil changed in 3,000 miles. Although I found the guys to be pleasant, pleasantry is not enough! I won t be back, I m hoping I don t forget this experience, you ve been warned!

New to town, tried going this morning for an oil change. The worker opened the garage door but didn t say anything, then got mad and shouted that what s wrong with people, I opened the door and you are just standing there . I turned around and left. I m not paying you to yell at me for no reason.

0/5. I visited this location twice and the service is horrible. If you care about vehicle don't go to this location. I took my Lexus and they not put the right amount of oil. I was shortened by 1 quart, which i was charged for as an additional fee. I noticed right away and had to purchase more oil to save my engine.Also, the staff is very rude. If you refuse to accept any of their additional services, they will give you an attitude. I also witnessed their staff make unruly comments to other customers. I'm never going back again specially with so many decent options around the area.

Easy walk-in, friendly customer service and reasonable prices. Like every place when you come for an oil change they try to up-charge for other services, but just tell them no thank you unless you want their suggestions. Plan on using again.

I usually go here to get my oil changed and every time the guys are nothing but super courteous and professional. Josh did my oil change last time and he was incredible. Super professional and it was super hot and late in the day and they still maintained their professionalism and were efficient and couldn't be more happier. Great job guys! I called the 800 number and told them how happy I was as well. I feel that when you get really good customer service you should tell someone.

Best service for an oil change/ other preventative maintenance of any other location or provider. You can rest easy knowing Sam , Roger, and kashawn are working in your car... you get the best service and no over selling... only true reccomended service when it s needed at the best price and beyond time efficient. Will be back! Thanks guys!

Went for an oil change. Everything was fine up until I asked for a Cabin Filter change & Air filter change. They told me that they couldn t change the Air Filter because it was positioned in a weird spot and they didn t want to break it??!?!? I ended up purchasing the air filter to change it myself. Also when the guy came to try to check the cabin filter he couldn t reach or couldn t access it and was scared to break it? Overall I was left confused and disappointed. The staff is very fast, knowledgeable, and friendly everytime I go here. Waiting in the car for the service that's extremely fast is so convenient. Much easier than the wait at a dealership. I highly recommend this service and location.

A shop that known for 1 thing, oil changes. This shop took my Jeep, a very common car, and decided to not install a washer on my drain plug. Fast forward to my next oil change, 3,000 miles later. The drain plus is now seized to my oil pan. This shop has the audacity to tell me that this was not their fault, even though they were the last ones to change my oil. They also marked my car as 'low oil' when I arrived, but since I could not get my oil changed I check it when I got home and it was perfectly at the top notch of my dip stick.TL;DR - Do your self a favor and learn to change your own oil. My Jeep needed a new oil pan after having them service my car, a $1,000+ job for Jeep to replace and this 'shop' took no responsibility.

Samuel, Jose & Carmelo helped me service my vehicle today and I was literally in and out of there! The service was quick and efficient and for someone who doesn't know much about cars, they helped explain to me step by step what they were doing and why they were doing it so that I could understand what was going on. I would definitely recommend this place.

I had a great experience with the drive-through oil change. Sam, in particular, provided great service he was friendly, explained what he wanted to do before he did anything, and even helped me put on a windshield wiper for free!

Superb customer service. Under Sam s management I ve never experienced customer service from an auto place at that level. Literally him and team went above and beyond instead trying to sell me things I didn t need, educated me to make the best decision based on the longevity of the car. Little things like that create lifetime customers. Appreciate you guys

Samuel is the BEST. I ve been here 3-4 times and he remembers me every time. Gets the oil done quickly and is soooo thorough. He and Josh, Keith, and Jose even shone my headlights for me this last time! Thanks fellas, I ll be back soon. :)

Stay away! This was my first and will be my last time. I first called asking for the cost. I was given a $10 coupon. Then I went here, did the oil change. I asked the guy to apply the coupon but then he refused saying that he already applied it. When I left, I looked into the receipt and the coupon applied was for $8, not $10. It is not about 2 dollers, it is about being honest to customers. Even worse I found them charging me $3 for oil cap change! What? No one told me it is being changed, let alone showing me the issue. What is the point of me staying in the car if I dont see what is happenning underneath it! So I called customer care, they said they will call the management of this branch to resolve the issue and give me partial refund. That was one week ago. Needless to say I never got any refund. Stay away.

These guys are the best. Super friendly, fast and affordable. DO watch out for the unavoidable up-sales for things that you may or may not need (transmission oil changes, air filters, coolant flush, etc.) Follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance and you'll be fine.

I always have gotten oil changes at Valvoline for the past ten years. I have a newer car and did not know what kind of oil change I usually get and knew there was a Groupon for it. I figured I would wait and make sure which Groupon to get when I received the oil change. I showed them the groupon and made sure to ask which oil it was, as I was purchasing the Groupon they said I would not be allowed to use it because it was not within 24 hours, when previously I saw customers do this at the time of service (that s how I knew about it). I think that is poor customer service especially being a loyal customer of 10 years and during a pandemic.Service: Oil change

I like the people here. I feel like I needed to know a lot about my car to get proper service. I know my car requires special oil. I know the correct fill amount and that there is a tendency for people to overfill the oil on my Turbo Diesel. They showed me the dip stick, but didn't know it was overfilled. I asked them to remove some oil, and they happily took care of it, but the consequence of over filling is potential clogging of a diesel particulate filter that would result in a $700 service. I'm glad I read my owner's manual. Valvoline specializes in oil change service, I expect them to be more knowledgeable. It all turned out okay, and these issues wouldn't apply to most standard oil changes, but it's important to be an educated consumer.

The oil change was fast and professional, they tried to up sell a little but all the suggestions were relevant and I didn't feel pressured once I said no. The only thing was they didn't know how to accept Apple Pay with their new system and couldn't figure out how to redeem my Groupon. The whole ordeal took an extra 20mins and I ended up last to work :/ The staff needs to be trained on the updated payment technology to streamline everything and get everyone on the same page.

I called the Main Ave location to get an oil change but they did not have the filter I needed. I was referred to the Westport Ave location because they had the filter I needed. Pulling into the service bay and was told by The Manager that he can t because of what he might damage removing the filter, Literally as I have the Valvoline (Main Ave) on the phone telling me they can do it. I got these jabroni s borderline yelling that they can t do it ....LOL if you trust a mechanic(s) that can t remove an oil filter because of what they might break then this is definitely your place. D-LEAGUE !!!Service: Oil change

They can do basic service, but it does not seem like they are mechanics. Got an oil change and tire rotation, both done correctly. They were unable to put the hubcaps back on and therefore suggested new ones. Went to an actual mechanic a month later since car rattled when stopping. Brake pads were metal to metal worn, but the employees at valvoline never mentioned this; I can only assume this is because they don't provide brake services there.. The mechanic also knocked the hubcaps back in, in seconds.

Oil change was fine I guess. They changed the oil. It took like 25 minutes. The broke a plastic cover to my oil pan. It fell off about an hour later. I went back. They promised to replace it. They never called me back. I never called them. Too much aggravation.
