Been here a total of three times, and I'm always pleased with the work quality and integrity of the shop. Their prices are very reasonable and I will certainly be back in the future. I recently got the brakes done on my GTI and, while there was a minor issue with the rear caliper, they were very responsive and honest in fixing the problem. I've brought my car in twice for service, once for spark plugs, then for new brakes. Both times it was extremely easy and Keal, the owner, was very helpful and friendly. I'll keep bringing my car here and highly recommend them.

I brought my car here as I always do expecting to be told my transmission was on the way out and I'd have to replace it. A transmission service later and an oil change because the car was there and my car is driving like it's fresh off the lot. Keal has always been incredibly fair with his prices and I've never left the premises feeling like I was ripped off. All the repairs he's made to my car have held up. EACR has been taking care of my family's cars (Audi, VW, Mercedes) since 2005.The owner, Keal and the lead mechanic, Joe, are knowledgeable, friendly and honest.Prices are fair and reasonable. These technicians are unbelievably awesome. I wished I had met them longago. They go above and beyond to pleasetheir customers. Also, their repair jobs aredone correctly the first time. Owner's name is Keal. They also have Joe and Nick. They have only performed an oil change on my 2011 Nissan Rogue. They have completed several repair jobs on mywife's 2003 Volkswagen super beetle.

Keal and his guys are amazing -- honest, knowledgeable, friendly. Been bringing the family's cars to them for almost 20 years, and recommending European Auto to anyone who will listen -- never been disappointed. I agree completely with everything said in the other five-star reviews.

I've been taking my car to European Auto for about two years now, and Keil (the owner) and his team are great. They're friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and above all, honest and trustworthy. Keil is amazing. So knowledgeable. He has been servicing my '07 5-series wagon since the warranty expired. I wouldn't trust my car to any other service shop. I live up in Guilford now, and I still take the car to Keil in Norwalk because he's just that trustworthy and experienced.

Stopped by to find out if they could replace the standard fog light bulbs in my 2020 Toyota Highlander with some blue LED bulbs I purchased online. They recommended against it due to possible impedance mismatch which might cause dash board alerts.

Just had my VW CC serviced for its 40k mile routine maintenance and I am very happy. I called around the area and Joe offered me the best price and also he sounded professional and knew exactly what needed to be done. These guys don't try to sell you something you don't need. I dropped the car off in the morning and they had it ready at the time they said they would. Saved over $600 on this service by going to European Auto Center. They also use genuine VW stuff or better. I will be back in the future if I need anything else

Some one needs to update these reviews and I guess that's me. You could not ask for more reliable or more honest people. They have serviced my car since I bought it, and I couldn't be happier. Have given me advice on what to do and what not to do. I have NEVER been inconvenienced in any way. These are people you can trust!

Incredible place. Amazingly honest, fair, fairly priced. I now send all of my friends and co-workers there, which I would not do, if I did not trust them as much. I once brought in my BMW for a head gasket repair. They redid it several times in the same day, taking hours, because they kept detecting a micro-leak (which others would have not even thought to look for, let alone notice). Finally, after 3 redos, they realized there was a micro-crack in the gasket. They used a different gasket, apologized for the long time it took, and still charged considerably less than anyone else did for this repair in the past. They also helped me discover on a Lexus that the dealer's assessment of an exhaust situation was wrong (the dealer wanted a $3,000 repair done), showing what was actually going on. Once you find a repair place like this, you don't go elsewhere.

Keal and his team are some of the most upstanding mechanics I've ever had the pleasure of working with. My whole extended family uses European auto for our Saabs. Keal is always honest and clear about what repairs need to get done, and why he recommends one thing over another. I could not be happier with European Auto as my mechanic!

Went there to service my car BMW 325i 2006 on 01/03/2017 for issues with coolant. BMW dealer quoted high for the repair and hence took to this shop. They diagnosed and suggested to change the radiator, top hose. Halo lamp on the passenger side was blown out which I initially denied to replace as the cost was high. Later agreed to change that as well as the owner called and said that I just need to pay only for the bulb and don t have to pay labor as they already have removed all the parts for radiator replacement and can change the lamp.After the service, I see condensation in the same headlight. Additionally, new error Adaptive head light failure is also showing for the same light. When I went back to ask about this, Owner argued for some time that it might not have caused due to their repairs but later said that he will check. After the car was taken inside, One of the Mechanic was very rude and without even checking anything he said that I was there to get something for free and asked to get out of the shop and drove my car out of the workshop and did not even looked into my car.I did mention about the condensation soon I got the car after the service and the same Mechanic did mention that he did not see any condensation when he changed the halo lamp inside the workshop and must have happened after the service when it was parked outside in rain. But the car has always been parked outside and is never under any cover for years now and even the night before (01/02/2017) the service, it was in rain all night long and it was raining when I left the car at their workshop and there was never a condensation.Interestingly, another Mechanic said that I told him that I took the car to BMW dealer for the head light, which I am pretty sure I never said that, which they think the problem must have always been there !!. If the condensation was always there, why did the other Mechanic said that he did not see any condensation when he changed the halo lamp!!!. Surprisingly, from the maintenance log, Only thing I have ever done at this workshop is changing the headlights, once on 04/22/2013, second time on 11/17/2015 and 3rd time now on 01/03/2017. So, if they claim someone else might have damaged this while working on the headlights, then it must be only them as they are the only ones who have worked on the headlights ever!.Something clearly went wrong during the service and they are not ready to accept it. I would have been okay if they have acknowledged that something might have gone wrong while service but instead, they have been very rude. I will be pursuing this legally and let s see what happens.Although, it is nice to get this done at these kind of shops to save some money. But with this experience, it is better to shell out little bit more and get it done at the dealer. That way, any issues like this, you can always hold dealer responsible and they should fix it if they have messed it up.

I have been bringing my car (Mitsubishi Lancer) here for years. The workmanship is second to none....They do a fantastic job and they are the most HONEST mechanics I have ever dealt with. If there is nothing wrong with your car they will tell you there is nothing wrong with your car and not charge you a cent.......I would recommend them to anyone......They are the BEST.........Their Service is Tremendous..........

I've been going to European Auto Center for a couple years now. The owner Mr. Keal and his employees are incredibly knowledgeable and dependable when it comes to repairs. They're extensive experience is bar none...and not just European models, but any automobiles for that matter.Unfortunately I've been around quite a few repair shops over the years...European Auto Center is the only place I feel at complete ease. Knowing i can leave my cars in the hands of automobile professionals, that you can trust is a rare thing these days. Regardless if it's something minor like an oil change...tune up...ect. or at times something major like a complete transmission overhaul these are the guys!

I talked on the phone. They said they have free checkup. Very good deal, yes?But when I went there, the guy was angry that of course he cannot work for free. It was not my fault. I took the time to go there and had to encounter an upset person.On the positive, his rate was fair.

Great local mechanic shop. Been going here over a decade. Reasonably priced for the area, and 100% straight up honest good people. Won't try to make you do more than you need and will let you know what your options are.

Extremely honest repair guys, they will even find things you didnt know was wrong with the car! my jeep has been happier than a pig in poop!!!Job was done right, on time. very happy, but not sure ill have a breakdown anytime soon!

My family broke down on 95 S 2 miles from this place. We were extremely lucky to land in that spot because it resulted in us finding EACR. Our BMW X5 had the radiator blow and Keal, @1outka5t, and Jason did everything they could to make us feel at home and have us back on the road in less than 4 hours. They were nice enough to welcome our dogs Apollo and Cano who were on our road trip with us. You would think 3 hours at a garage would be painful but it was the opposite. Keal told us tails of all his celebrity friends and his bouts with Joe the head repair man who wasn't even available this day. Then the other guys were hanging out with Apollo making him feel comfortable. Discovery Channel if you are reading this, this place needs to be on my television yesterday. I might go back next time I go to NYC just to hang out. Thanks guys!
