2 Separate times they have messed an oil change in the last 2 years. I found drops of oil on my garage floor. First time they tried to use the excuse of "it must be old residual oil" and then apologized when they realized I knew that was nonsense.This time around they admitted that the rubber gasket on the oil filter was folded which caused a break in the seal.It's not about messing up. it happens, we are all human. It's about the extra 1-2 hours you have to take out of your own time to go get something fixed that they did wrong in the first place. Not acceptable when they charge $110 each time.Lastly, I waited 3 days after leaving a voicemail to the manager of this location before putting this review in hoping for a call back...Nothing.

If I could give them a 0 I would. They talked us into buying a pre-owned engine with 63K miles on it for our 2012 MDX. It was making noise after 2 weeks of driving. We brought it back in and they wanted to charge us more for repairs. After a couple more months, we took it to another mechanic and he told us the engine had 123K miles on it, which was a complete shock to us. When I confronted Devan Acura, they told us that they ordered the wrong engine and that they told us they were putting an engine with 123K+ miles on it. To us, this is a COMPLETE LIE!! We would have never had put an engine with 123K+ miles on it in a used car that had 180K miles on it. It's no surprise that we now own a car that needs 10K worth or repairs. Would you trust these people?

As a long time customer of Devan Acura, it is unfortunate that I have to write this review. I have leased a new vehicle ever since 2004 I just would make a call to my salesperson Dan Russo and say "Have it ready" and return my current leases with a minimum14,000 miles and always in mint condition, at every turn in. So recently when picking up my new 2024 Acura MDX I was not informed that the remote start is now done by cellphone and there would be a $750.00 upcharge for key fobs with remote start. This is information that I should should have been told by my salesperson Mr. Russo prior to the lease arrangement. It would have been the right thing to do. I feel blindsided and will no longer be a Devan Acura Customer. Mr. Russo, my sales person, and the GM, and even corporate had no interest at all in my situation and had not one ounce of concern about my loyalty as a long time customer.

I purchased an Acura MDX from Dan LaRusso in 2004 and the experience was fantastic. I since retired and moved to Florida and began shopping for a new MDX. The dealerships in Florida lacked professionalism, product knowledge, and I became extremely frustrated with incompetence. I called Devan Acura and found that Dan was still working there after all these years, and that is a rarity in the car business. I told Dan what I wanted to do, and we had a deal put together over the phone within minutes. You have to like that dealership and salesman in order to drive 1200 Miles each way. I m a customer for life now!!! They don t play stupid games, and the deliver what is promised. Dan did a great job and knows his product, which too, is so rare today. Thank you Dan and Jeff at Devan Acura for top notch performance!!! Update September 30, 2022. Another Fantastic experience here at Devan Acura!!! Certified 2022 MDX in Apex Blue.

My interaction with Jeffrey Pearce was absolutely awful! I had a deal in place with my sales rep who was off, and I was told to work with Jeff. From the moment I stepped in his office, he didn t greet me and was rude and condescending. In fact so rude, I left the dealership and got a car from Lexus. I can t believe a Sales Manager would talk to a an approved customer with a deal in place like this.Is this what Sales leadership look like?Wow

This review is for a car purchase. I worked with Rick Clark. Normally I don't write reviews but my experience here was so good and different than almost any customer experience I ve had that I feel I have to give them a shot out. From the moment I walked in Rick Clark greeted me like a gentleman and helped me with the car I was interested in. He was patient, very knowledgeable and super pleasant to deal with and maybe most importantly for me, he was totally transparent with the numbers. He's been there for 20 years and he certainly knows how to treat a customer - the ultimate professional! I am an analytical and skeptical shopper so I wanted to get all the numbers and all the fees, etc., and compute the payments and square the figures against an online auto calculator. Rick was fully transparent without me even having to push him to be so. On his own he provided a detailed spreadsheet with all the figures disclosed, everything!! All without going to his manager even once - he had it all at his fingertips! Simple! Beautiful! Only God knows why other dealerships still do all the silly dance and show of going to the 'manager' for the numbers or only having partial numbers to provide, this includes the other Acura dealerships in the area..Long story short, if you are buying a car, you defintely want to deal with a guy like Rick, he went above and beyond to take care of me, delivered the deal that he offered me and even managed to get the color my wife wanted from another dealership within a few days of my decision to get the car. I give Devan Acura and Rick a 10/10! Excellent!

Great place! I purchased my car here and wasn t haggled at all. They were straight forward and the process was very easy. I have since been back a few times for the free oil changes for the life of the car. The service dept team is always personable and remember who you are which I appreciate. I had a small issue with my MDX which was under warranty. They took the car and gave me a loaner which was great. I also appreciate they wash the outside every time you have service done.

My experiencing purchasing the car was unbeatable. However, Acura makes servicing the car incredibly long winded but not by fault of the dealership. Everyone I encountered was always patient, and compassionate towards me, an impatient, very stressed and confused customer. Thank you to Rick(my salesperson), Donato and Doug in the service department for their kindness in what I m sure can be crazy work days.

I highly recommend Salesman Dan LaRusso at Devan Acura. I spoke to Dan over the phone and purchased a new 2021 Acura RDX without any stress or aggravation. I was referred to Dan and Devan Acura by family members, all of who had fantastic experiences with their purchase. I was a bit reluctant to make a purchase without going into the dealership, but since I live in Iowa, I had no other choice. The phone experience was excellent, but the delivery to me in Iowa was even better. Top notch service by experienced car professionals. Dan was awesome and did not miss a single detail. I wish I would have done this sooner, because my new RDX is amazing!!! Thank you Dan for the great experience!!! I never thought I would ever say that about a car dealership!!!

I went to Acura to compare the price of the MDX against the 3 other trucks I was only considering buying. I walked out with an MDX the same day. I buy cars obviously for the product itself but also for the way the people at the dealership present the vehicle and the principles both them and the dealership stand on. Rick is the perfect example of the experience every person should have at car dealerships in general. He was honest, transparent and loved where he worked for 20+ years. That statement itself already speaks to the principles of this Dealership. I have had 20 years of experience buying cars for both myself, my wife and others and this experience was so perfect, I don't think Ill ever be able to compare to my previous. Unless they stop making Acura's, its going to be tough to move away from this dealership in the future. Big thank you to Rick and the staff for such a perfect transaction. As being someone new to the area, it was truly a great experience I cant rave about enough.

Best acura dealership. Had an issue with my motor and got it replaced within a week or 2 with warranty. Customer service is the best. Would recommend this dealer 100%. Experience with them is always great. Free oil change and wash for life once you purchase a car with them.

I've contacted them 2 weeks ago about my bank card being checked and linked to their business. This was a fraudulent attempt as I have never been to the USA. I contacted them to have my card unlinked from their system and left my phone number on the chat to be notified when this is done. Never received any notifications, I had to block my card before a holiday so I don't get charged which was not great. Very unreliable company.

Had an amazing experience here buying my 2023 MDX. Hopefully this relationship continues so splendidly for awhile. I have a feeling it will what with the free oil changes and car washes! Rick Clark was our salesman and a total gentleman and the most un-selly salesman ever. Just like a good friend you'd hang out with who happens to have access to awesome cars for you.

My review potentially could be a 5 star but since I did not have warranty, the service department is terribly over priced and will not work with you.Paid $232 just for them to tell me my fuze box is broken and if I want it fixed it will be an additional $1,300 ( $500 material $800 labor).On top of that it took them 3 days to figure that out. On the second day, I get a phone call telling me that the technician called out so I have to wait another day. Instead of offering me a rental car for the inconvenience, I just had to deal with it.Private mechanic will be far cheaper.Moral of story is do not take your car to the dealership if you do not have warranty.

Had my 2005 Acura MDX checked since my engine light was on. I was advised that it needed valve adjustment which I gave them the go signal to repair. 4 days passed no word from them that I had to call for updates. Nobody seems to know about my vehicle until 2 hours later when they claimed it was fixed. As soon as I got it check engine light still on. Complained about it and was told to bring it in. Next diagnosis was too much carbon build up in engine needs a new engine. Really didn't notice that the first time ( which fortifies my belief they didn't look at it!). Brought it to my trusted mechanic ( which I should have done the first place). Did valve adjustment. Now my Acura runs great with no check engine light. What terrible service even for a loyal customer for 16 years.

I purchased a 19 MDX A-Spec from Westchester of Acura in 2021. Fast forward, 18 months . The day after Christmas the car lite up like a Christmas tree and stalled in the middle of the road! Took a few tries and finally it started but now gear won t shift. Called Westchester and was advised I can go to any Acura dealer since the car is still under warranty ( I am from CT). So, I took it into Devon Acura in Norwalk, I don t know if it was the worst mistake or an eye opener; 3 weeks later and $1600 out of pocket, because Devon of Acura advised me the car had previously been in an accident and had collision repair work done on the car which was not noted to Carfax the manufacturer warranty voids! 2 HUGE legit Acura Dealers on he says, she says I then went to Westchester Acura and advise them of the issue as Devon of Acura did not repair the car as it stalled again on the highway not even 24 hours after I took it off the lot and was told I should have just had the car tolled to the original Dealer for repair or I can bring it back to them to diagnosis free of charge. The car sat in your lot for 3 weeks!!!! And I paid over $1k for labor and $400 for parts????... I called Acura warranty and was advise this is a idle recall on the car ! A friend who is also a mechanic advise this also sounds like Acura s KNOWN issue with the electrical component failure.

I bought my Acura MDX from Devan Acura in 2010. I have been taking my car there for servicing ever since. I have always had an excellent experience with them. Making a service appointment is very quick using their on-line booking system. When I go there I am greeted by a courteous representative who takes notes of any issues I am having. I have never felt pressured into carrying out work that wasn't necessary. There are never any surprises with the charges. I usually wait in their clean and well stocked waiting area or peruse the new cars on their floor, while the car is being serviced. The car is always returned to me promptly, washed and cleaned. I hope to remain a customer of Devan Acura for many years to come. It has been the most enjoyable ownership experience of all the cars I have owned. I highly recommend this dealership for purchasing and servicing your Acura.

I have nothing but high praise for this Dealership. Purchased my first Acura from here in 1991 & have been coming back ever since. I have nothing but the highest praise for the Service Department. I appreciate the superb attention that I & my car(s) get when brought here. They really care about their customers. I have worked very closely with Donato, Earl & Ralph in service & yes, I am on a first name basis. They all work to ensure that only the necessary services are performed & the pricing is very fair & competitive. Each time I have brought my car in for service, I am always greeted professionally & courteously. They work very hard to accommodate needs & scheduling. Once everything is completed, I usually check out with Paula at Customer service who is extremely nice. A lot of things other car dealerships are practicing, Devan Acura has been doing for years. I am very grateful for the attention & service provided to me over the years from Sales (Dan) Service (Donato, Earl & Ralph) & Svc Coordinator (Paula). To the others who I see in passing in the waiting area, thank you for always providing a friendly greeting. I will continue to use this Dealership; I only wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

Had a 10 am appointment for a RDX oil change , arrived early, after checking saw attendant get in the vehicle and move it.. 11 am I see my vehicle parked in a area that I assumed it was done.. Went to the service desk and found out it hadn t been touched . Now a Seinfeld episode kicks in .. I say I had a 10 am appointment to which service replied, good thing you had an appointment , because if you didn t, the wait is longer..Key Word WAIT..At 11:30 my RDX had not moved, and I went back to the service desk , asked for my keys and left..There I am Georgia Tags, purchased from Acura Columbus OH , and Devan may have had more important customers than me..Acura Columbus is as a Five Star Hotel for Service and I schedule my service around visits to Dublin OHI spend half my time in CT or Georgia so..When it comes time to acquire the Electric Acura ..Devan can Wait..

My family has had an Acura, from Devan in Norwalk since 2005. The service is always professional. Today, I walked into the service department and was greeted by Nick. He is knowledgeable, well spoken and took care of my car s issue very promptly, and on short notice. I have also on another occasion worked with the service manager John, also extremely helpful and caring. Thanks guys...we are very happy customers.

Excellent Service Center!!I brought my car to Devan Acura's service center on the recommendation of a friend who will only go there. Even though it's a little out of my way, I decided to bring my car in to be looked at. I recently had a minor accident a few months ago when I slid on an icy patch on a hill and my car hit a curb hard enough to dent the steel wheel. Once I received my car back (3 weeks and $3500 later!) the steering still felt off to me. When I inquired to the auto shop that fixed it, they told me it had been aligned and drove fine and nothing was wrong with it. I brought it to Devan Acura, and John Alterio, the service manager there, diagnosed my car based on the information I gave him before they even looked at the car. He was completely accurate and it appears the passenger side control arm was never replaced after my mishap with the curb and my alignment was off on that side according to the computer reading. I was very impressed with how much knowledge and expertise he had, and the entire service department were all very professional and thorough in helping get my car fixed. I only wish I had gone to them originally, and not to the place that said they had fixed something, only to find out that they had not at all! Trustworthy service centers should not be as hard to find as they can be - this is definitely a place you can trust! I am now a customer for life :)

Everyone is a consumer. When we go shopping, we see a price and ask ourselves is this a fair price and can I afford it. However, when it comes to purchasing a car, we see the price and then we ask ourselves, how can we keep ourselves from being cheated and gouged on price. In general, nobody begrudges anyone from making a profit either. The fact that dealerships are making record profits, charging 10, 15, 20% above MSRP, which is already higher than invoice (what they pay), and treating customers as though they are doing the customers a favor in selling them a car, it makes the whole experience absolutely lousy.Devan Acura does not do that. They're the exact opposite. Daniel LaRusso and Rick Ottavi are straightforward. They know the cars inside and out. You're not talking to someone who knows less about the cars than you do. You're interested in a vehicle and a price quote? They'll talk to you about it on the phone. They're not saying come on down to the dealership and then we'll go over the numbers. They're not looking to waste your time in the same way they wouldn't want their time wasted. Everyone else charging MSRP + 10 to 20%? They're selling at MSRP. Is selling at MSRP a problem? No, if you've got fewer cars to sell, they have to be sold at a higher price if you want to keep the dealership afloat and let them keep a roof over their heads. Interested in residual value and money factor on a lease? They'll tell you the numbers and won't hide it to try to hide the excess profit margins that other dealers are charging and trying to make.In shopping for a new mid-size SUV for my family, I looked at 7 different makes, and 1-2 models for each make and I communicated with 2-3 dealerships for each manufacturer before settling down on deciding between a Subaru Ascent, Toyota Highlander, Hyundai Palisade, and Acura MDX. I've dealt with 3-5 dealerships for each of these make/models across New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York. Rick and Dan have been straightforward in every communication. They follow the golden rule and treat others the way they would like to be treated themselves. In a world where car dealers are often stereotyped as sleazy salesman, Rick and Dan are a pair of honest guys looking to sell you a good car. These are the right guys to get an Acura from.

Got a 2016 Acura ILX.Had to bring the car in 3 times within the firat year of having the car because of old batteries they put in the car.Went in another time because my emergency break got stuck, which they claimed they fixed. Now back here again because of the same issue and now they claim they have to replace the emergency break.Are the mechanics not doing their job?Now my car will be there for another week or so and no loaner car to offer.
