I was so close to loosing my car after a tree fell on her. The damage was so widespread- I thought she was a goner. Conner was amazing!!!!! the nicest guy on the face of the planet!!! he took a lot of time answering my questions and was very informative He worked closely with my insurance adjuster and kept me up to date daily. He was paramount in me being able to keep my car. I m so appreciative!!The body work that was done was extensive. The attention to detail cannot be matched. My car looks better than the day I purchased her. I m beyond happy. Thank you so much to everyone!! The best body shop!!!!!

I was Hit by a Taxi going to JFK and my SUV had very bad body damage, a busted strut and broken rim!!I was referred to Cotalings auto body by my brother, who had previously used them for his car and was very pleased with the outcome on his car and the professional service he received.I had the pleasure of working with Joe, and from the first day to the last day, everything was done so professionally, I was always informed, and Joe worked with my insurance company, and actually made this very stressful process much more, relaxing.I highly recommend this family run business, they do everything top notch and have a wonderful service team that have incredible knowledge about automobiles and fixing them the right way correctly!Thanks Joe for all you did I really appreciate itand thank you to the staff at Cotalings

Our beloved Volvo was in an accident. Liz and Joe were great to work with. They worked with our insurance company and kept us informed as they had to deal with supply chain issues for so many parts. The repair is perfect I've added before and after photos. The whole team at Cotaling's did a great job and we are very happy.

They always have high end customer support. Before the scheduled repair they used some tools to get my car so I could use it until the actual repair. They make it easy and comfortable.

Beautiful job my car looks like a new car drives like nothing ever happened to it.Nice folks they call you before and after the work Is done. Had to bring back for minor details but all in all great job!

Cotaling's Auto Body did an amazing job on my 1988 BMW E30. It was rear ended and they restored it back with all original parts and a phenomenal paint job. The results look like factory finish and I was super happy on how it came out. I dealt with Connor and he was super patience with me plus the customer service was second to none. I highly recommend Cotaling's for any Auto Body repairs!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Got into an accident right before holiday and other places quoted me 2-week wait time. Cotalings got me in the next day.When I arrived, I was promptly greeted and they quickly assessed that the car was not drive-able (oops!) and set me up with a rental. I was in/out in a rental within 30 mins.30-mins later when I got home, Joe called to advise that my car was probably going to be deemed a total loss due to repairs required. He asked if I wanted to put it through as-is, or hold off.He gave me time to think it over, as well as incorporated some recent work done (I sent him receipts).I decided to proceed with submitting to insurance in-full, and it was in fact deemed a total loss shortly thereafter. His quote of what I would get from insurance was spot-on. When I went to retrieve my belongings, everyone was helpful and quick.Though I did not get work done, I would recommend this place based on service and timeliness.

I have to say Cotaling's is one of the most professional shops out there. Great service, the repairs are great and they make everything easy by taking care of rentals etc. Fully recommend this place in Norwalk

I highly recommend them! Someone reversed into my car. After shopping around, I decided to go with Cotaling s. They were professional, easy to deal with, and handled the communication with the insurance. When I picked my vehicle up I was stunned! Not only were the repairs done, but it looked like I was picking it up from a dealership!

This is my first and only post using Google reviews, but I have to say there is a reason for it. Joe and everyone at Cotalings not only do great work, but are extremely professional. They not only are great about communicating and servicing your car, but go the extra mile in terms of being reliable and providing quality service at unbeatable prices.Just as an example I brought the car in for a damaged towing experience. Joe took me in despite being overwhelmed with work. He fixed the trunk latch and did it free of charge. It was pretty amazing and clearly we were quite thankful. When bringing the car in for other repairs he was extremely helpful in not only getting everything done properly but at minimal cost. This was so very much appreciated by our family, if you are in the area locally you probably no how great these guys are, but if you are in the surrounding area I would suggest using them as well-you won t be sorry.Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Welding

They took care of me really well a few weeks ago after my car was hit. Handled all the issues with insurance and got my car looking great again! Then, had an unrelated cosmetic issue with our other car; took it to them for an estimate and they just fixed it right then and there. Nothing but positive things to say, and recommend them as strongly as possible!

I brought my vehicle there because they are in contract with My insurance company. They would say one thing to me and another thing to the insurance. They make a lot of money off referrals from insurance and they definitely have the insurance company s best interest not what actually happened to your car to get it fixed. They are nice to your face but it s another story what I found out they tell the insurance. I ended up having to take my car to another location and the work that they did do has to be fixed! Additionally, they don t return your calls for days while they have your vehicle. Worse experience ever and would definitely tell people not to go there. I don t like it when they take advantage of people! Horrible experience.

Called them to try and make an appointment to estimate my wife's SUV car accident damage. They said stop by anytime tomorrow between 8am and 5:30 and they would be happy to give an estimate. I drove the car on the back roads to them from Fairfield the next day ( I grew up in Norwalk) I waited about 30 minutes in their comfortable waiting room and then Joe Tatroe came out to see the car. It took about 2 hours to look at the car and write a multi page estimate that he sent directly to State Farm. I thought he looked familiar and he was there when I took my wifes car there around 1975. Small World and Im happy their still in buisness and doing well.Congrats, John

Cotaling's was recommended to me by the dealer where I bought my SUV and I am so glad they did. The team at Cotaling's was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and the work was outstanding. Joe and his team handled my situation with such professionalism and were extremely accommodating and patient. My car, which suffered a hit & run, was fixed within a week and came back looking as good as new. They were also very good about helping me sort out my situation with the insurance company (they tried to increase my co-pay). Overall, amazing experience all across the board. Definitely recommend them!

Highly recommend Cotalings Auto Body! From drop off to completion they provided continuous updates and communication on timeline and estimate/work. Job is always done right and they backup their repairs. Just noticed the door replaced in my suv was misaligned and showed it to Peter who told me to bring the car the next business day. This repair was done 4 yrs ago. The problem was solved, no charge and they even washed the car for me. That s the way they have always done business.Great outfitHighly recommended!

They did an excellent job on my BMW. The team here went above and beyond to work around my schedule to drop off the vehicle as well as pick it up. They were quick in getting the job done and they did an excellent job overall. They even took out some extra dings and scratches that I had! I highly recommend this body shop!

The worse experience I have ever had with a body shop. I had to remove my car from their business and take it to another shop. They replaced my windshield with the incorrect one which ruined my electrical and the new shop has to replace it. When they replaced my windshield with the wrong one they broke my molding that surrounds it and glued it back on instead of replacing it so it flew off as I was driving down the freeway. They seem nice, but obviously don t know what they are doing and will take advantage of you. I definitely don t recommend them and would tell people to go elsewhere. It s sad that you can t trust them to do the right thing......if you break stuff on the car you don t just glue it to fix it, you replace it with one that isn t broke......Do Not Go Here!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I had a fantastic experience at Cotalings. Connor was tremendously helpful and made the process very smooth from start to finish. After an unfortunate accident, they reassured me that they would not only be able to fix it, but they would do whatever they could to get me the best price. They were honest and stayed in constant communication. Not only was I surprised with how quickly they were able to complete the job but when I got the car back, it looked even better than before. We were rear-ended and the damage to our car was pretty bad. Connor at Cotaling's made the entire repair experience and process simple and took all of the burden of dealing with a damaged vehicle off of our shoulders. We are incredibly grateful for the high quality of service and work that we received from Cotaling's - our car came back to us as good as new!

My family has been coming to Cotaling s for over 20 years. No matter where we live (New York, Florida, DC...), we find a way to make it here for any and all repairs. There is no other body shop we would go to; there is no other place we can possibly trust. The service is impeccable. Joe, Peter, and everyone else is warm, welcoming, and trustworthy. They go above and beyond for you. We are grateful for their service.

Can't recommend this place enough. Drive the Merritt everyday so, unfortunately, I'm a some what regular customer there for the amount of times I've been rear ended. Every time though; Joe and the other guys there do an absolutely fantastic job. First class service, really is. Helping deal with insurance concerns, adjusters, car rental. They really help out end-to-end throughout the entire process. Absolutely brilliant!

I live next to Cotaling's Auto Body and I needed help to fix my trunk which it was not closing. I stopped by without making any appointment just to check if they could help me. I called and Peter answered the phone, I was outside already, he met me and brought someone to fix my trunk in less than 5 minutes. Didn t charge me and it was extremely nice. I m glad I have a body shop next to me and now I know when I need help, they won t hesitate to help me. Thank you!!!

Big smiles, warm handshakes, excellent workmanship, and honest dealings keep me coming back to this family run business. They know that their reputation is everything and it shows. I even received a quick lift to work when I popped in unexpectedly! And yes, I recommend them to friends and coworkers. LJH
