I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with the Walmart Auto Center that I feel compelled to share. I purchased a set of tires, and despite paying over $400, they were neither installed nor in my possession.To make matters worse, I had to cancel my installation appointment because only three out of the four tires were delivered. Following the store's instructions, I left the tires as "not picked up" and was promised a refund for the missing tire. However, a few days later, to my disbelief, the missing tire was marked as picked up, and I was charged for all four tires.This situation has led to weeks of endless phone calls between customer support and the store, with no resolution in sight. The lack of accountability and continuous runaround from both ends have been incredibly frustrating. It seems that nobody has the authority or willingness to rectify the situation.I strongly advise anyone considering Walmart Auto Center for their automotive needs to think twice. The incompetence and lack of customer service exhibited throughout this ordeal are unacceptable. Save yourself the hassle and money, and choose a more reliable and customer-focused service. Dealing with these apparent crooks has been a regrettable experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

Here's a revised version of the text with corrections:"I have never written negative reviews, this will be my first. This is the worst service that simply cannot be expected in the USA. I arrived here on Friday, March 29th, only to be told that they accept walk-ins without an appointment solely on Wednesdays and Thursdays, starting precisely at 10 a.m., as I asked multiple times. To clarify, this crucial information is not available anywhere; it s impossible to find out without personally visiting. Should I call and make an appointment? Forget it, it's impossible I've spent several hours on hold for two consecutive days, attempting to call at different times. I arrive precisely at the opening time, step inside, and a rude man informs me that all spots are already filled for the day, suggesting I return in a week. I pose a logical question: "How is this possible when you've just opened?" To which he simply repeats his prior statement. I do not recommend anyone waste their time coming here. Walmart's management should pay attention to this Auto Center; it's tarnishing their reputation. That's all I wanted to say.

Don't ever come to this place or any walmart auto center for that matter. I came to the Newington Walmart auto center for an oil change and just a few hours later i had a message on my dashboard saying "engine oil low add or replace" i had to rush to the nearest Valvoline and get an emergency oil change. I asked a Valvoline staff if there was any oil in my car and they told me that the dipstick was dry....not only that but there was a gash/cut on my oil cannister which was causing a leak and that was also a new issue caused by Walmart Auto Center, Newington.

please please please avoid this place, i genuinely beg you. i had to wait over 2 hours for 1 tire to be replaced-i can only imagine how long a whole set would be.just avoid this place seriously

Simply put, I hate this place. Everyone who works there is incompetent with no sense of urgency. Not worth the headache to just save a few bucks, spend the money on better quality service and skill else where.

The auto center will tell you it s by appointment only but will not answer the phone! I called 5 times! Each time they pick up & threw me on hold without even saying hold on. Worst customer service. If you hate your job that much to the point where you don t want to do your job! Please get a new one!

Walmart should think of moving the lady attending the phone to different department, she just picks up the call and keeps on hold saying just a second and that one second never ends. Tried calling multiple times and never got a chance to get my appointment for tier rotation. Atleast have more people at Tier center customer service to attend phone calls and customers.

Didn't get a chance to make an appointment because whatever lady working right now keeps picking up the call & immediately placing me on hold without greeting me or explaining herself... For more than 5 minutes straight each time I call... Third time I tried calling this morning... Can hear her talking to others each time. Going to another location, driving on my donut lol.

Vaey poorly mange place. Waited 1 hour 45 minutes and than they said your oder haven't been delivered in 11 days . While I have an email from Walmart that says your appointment is scheduled .

Had a apt at 1 o clock to get 4 tires replaced , they said it would take a hour . I told the lady there that my tire pressure light was on and whatever sensor needed to be replace to please replace. Now it took 90 min to finish . Fine things happen little longer then expected . Got in my car and my pressure light was still on , went back in and they guy said oops I forgot . I will do it right now . Now sat there for another hour and 10 min before that was done . Worst experience they guying doing my car had it shirt unbuttoned down with his chest out and when he was done n pulled my car out to take it around real quick to check he was eating a milkshake in my car . Also the car shakes at 60mph when it didn t before .. just go to pep boys or town fair , little more money but you will feel better about the work then that ghetto place2/20 update .. car kept shaking over 60So went to town fair and there was no weights on one wheel and other wheel was out of balance as well .. I contacted management and got no response

Bought 4 brand new Goodyears with road hazard protection. 2 tires recently went flat and needed to be replaced since puncture was on sidewall. Went back to Walmart to get tires replaced but long behold they don t have them in stock and was told by Bill the auto center manager after answering his condescending questions to try somewhere else. Your inventory system is garbage. Not just are you out of tires for my vehicle your always out of the most basic things constantly. GET BETTER!!!

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Ana is very bitter and disrespectful. Do not waste your time, money or energy at this location. I came in on 9/24 for an oil change and rotate and balance and was told they were unable to do both services that day due to short staffing. Nilsa also told me to come back on my next available day at 7:30 and they d be able to work me in. I come in 9/29 at 7:30 and all the doors are closed and locked. I was finally let in by another customer and then waited at the counter for a few minutes while the associates were in the backroom talking. Once Ana came out of the backroom she asked how she could help me and when I told her that I was here for car service (obviously) she cut me off mid sentence to aggressively say, well I don t have anybody. We don t open until 9. I then went up to customer service to ask for a manager and had to wait another 15 minutes. The associates who were at the door and called for the manager were very kind and helpful. They also informed me that automotive opens at 8, not 7:30 like Nilsa said and definitely not 9 like Ana claimed. Neither Nilsa nor Ana informed me that they were booked by appointments nor did they offer to book me an appointment. Once I explained my frustrations to the manager, she told me she thought the department opened at 7 so clearly nobody at this location is on the same page or knows how to communicate with each other. I used to manage the automotive department at a Walmart in Georgia before I moved up to Connecticut and I can just tell that this location is absolute trash and I will not be back.

Super rude ladies at the register. They say you need an appointment for tire rotation and tire balance, but whenever I try to call they put me on hold and don t answer the phone. I once decided to actually wait on hold and even after 15-20 minutes I was never answered. I hung up and called again. Yes, they put me on hold again. Whenever I call this location it s the same thing. It s not just a one time thing. How are we supposed to get appointments if we can t even reach them? You show up in person and all they give you is their attitude. Very dissatisfied. Never coming back again

The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. To be totally honest I've shopped here three more times since the last review and the oil changes phenomenal the tires were great the customer service is excellent the lady at the desk I don't know who she is I'm going to get her name next time she knows what she's doing and knows how to treat the customers I will be back Arnold Schwarzenegger voice I'll be back.

Was told my car would be done in an hour, waited an hour and a half and my car isn't even inside the bay yet. I'm literally watching the guy doing oil changes and hes Sitting there, eating chicken wings with the hood of the car open.

Prices are good, however they are short on staff. I had to wait for about an hour for them to mount 2 tiers I bought online, even though I had an appointment.

Front desk lady doesn t know what she s doing waited 1 hour and a half and she never checked my car in. Workers are extremely slow and lazy. Terrible service. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Great customer service, and express service! However the best part is that their prices cannot be beat by anyone, even for name brand products like Goodyear tires! And their full synthetic oil change costs the same as a regular oil change by the other guys at those other places, so this Walmart Auto Center will be getting my repeat business going forward and I will be referring my friends and family and my own customers to this location for these great deals!

The whole staff is incredibly friendly. Some things take a little longer than others, but you get a quality job. Nelson the manager is very experienced and went out of his way to spec out the right tires for my car at the right price. Very happy with my experience coming here and will definitely come again. Thank you!

Please! go to a regular tire shop if you are looking for new tires. The woman at the counter was completely clueless and absolutely no help. I ordered new tires online because they were offered at a great price. However the savings was not worth the aggravation. No one could locate the 4 large! Truck tires I purchased. It finally took one of the shop techs to come inside and help me locate my tires. Thank God for him! Go elsewhere!!! My one hour appointment turned into almost 3 hours. Go to a tire shop instead! You've been warned!!!!

Very slow. I got there at 8am on Sunday when they were supposed to open hoping to be in and out. That was not the case. I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to get to the register. Then I had to wait another hour get up to the register. There were only 5 people in front of me in line. Then I had to wait 2.5 hours just for them to put my tire on another rim. The prices are good but the service is slow.

The managers at this Walmart Auto Center very nice and respectful. Excellent customer service. Nelson goes out of his way to make sure that customers are satisfied. I appreciate this whole staff and definitely recommend them to anyone who needs tires or service on their car. Thank you so much FRONTLINE TEAM during this difficult time! You are appreciated!!! It s hard to find this type of customer service now a days.

Rating for the front desk at auto center: I called Walmart autocare yesterday over the phone for car oil change appointment. They gave the appointment for today morning at 8am. Today morning when I reached there at 8am they asked me to wait for 2 hours. I told I had an appointment at 8am why should I wait for 2 hours. The lady starts telling, I don't see any appointments here and I'm not sure about what the other lady told you over the phone yesterday.I said I can't wait for 2 hours since I need to be at work by 9am. And I asked when can I get the next appointment. She said you can come on Saturday @8am. I asked her give me a confirmation on a piece of paper for that. Then she refuses and says its already there in the book. I told that I do not want to be in the same situation as today. So and then she checks the system and says, oh someone else already has an online appointment for 8am on Saturday. And the only appointment available for 8am is on next Wednesday after 5 days. Highly negligence about customers. They don't have a minimun common sense to check the online appointments before taking n appointment over phone or in person.

Great Walmart associate who assisted me with my tire appointment had my tires balance and mounted in about 45 minutes the best service by far. I Thank the cashier and the tire service members for a great job . Thanks

Now they take tire appointments which makes walk ins with a short wait(under an hour and a half) impossible. Even for a tire fix you bought there or a patch you're thrown into a queue without even being able to make an appointment for such a thing. I showed up at 3:45 to being told itd be a 4 hour wait and to come the next morning if i wanted to avoid the wait. So i show up right when they open the next day. ...still a 3 hour wait.. Unacceptable. They need more tech staff and a return customer priority would be helpful as well. Something to show you'd like to obtain and keep my business.

Spoke to a gentlemen in the auto center & he was very rude. I ll be Getting my tires replaced elsewhere.
