The online appointment needs to be addressed as I was confirmed via email and text but it doesn t get carried over to the store s system. However, the manager of the store (Berlin turnpike) took my car in for an oil change even though it was quite busy. His team (specifically Tito) went above and beyond by teaching me how to do an oil change as well. Would love to continue to work with this team again!

Ray & his team did an amazing job. I went in for brake work and it turned out to be more complicated than initially thought. They worked efficiently, kept me updated on the status of the repairs, showed me the issues and clearly explained what the problems were. I really appreciate the fact that my safety while driving was their top priority and made sure the job was done correctly.

Ray and Raven took care of me and were honest about my car. Ray got me the cheapest deal and I did not have any issues with the service. I have never had a better experience than with them. They made me feel like they wanted to fix my car for more than money.

Customer service was spectacular. I had a brake failure close by and called this shop for an emergency repair. I got in mid-afternoon and by the end of the day left with the repairs done. So let me explain that I had some warning signs that my brakes were failing but the complete failure happened suddenly and catastrophically and there was a lot of damage. Ray showed me the damage and explained in detail what had happened. He also spent considerable time and effort explaining it to my husband over the phone. What should have been a terrible day turned out to be a great day that during which I was reminded what a blessing it is to receive help from a kind and generous person who is also an excellent mechanic. I live 45 minutes away from this shop but will return here for future service instead of going to someplace closer to home. Thanks very much Ray.

Brought my car in for an oil change and brakes. Immediately felt something was off, I walked out to the car and told my husband they were gonna try and okie doke me, they gave off a weird vibe. 2 hrs later I was told that my car needed full brakes and rotors on all tires and it would cost me over $1400.00. They stated they took my car for a courtesy drive and it was vibrating very bad. After I denied them the work and told them I was coming to pick up my vehicle, they called me back to try to work out a deal stating corporate was here auditing me and I couldn t speak freely . Needless to say I didn t authorize the work and picked up my car. No vibrations, at all- not when I dropped it off and not when I picked it up. But they did leave my battery loose after their inspection . $135 for an oil change. Thanks for nothing, we will not be coming back. Avoid this place at all costs. Def scammers here.

I came in for an oil change and during inspection, Raven saw I needed a gasket and my oil pan replaced. He noticed a couple other things to consider replacing and was very honest about the services my car needed. Would definitely go again.

My husband and I visited to have four new TIRES, just tires put on two different days. We each had the same experience. Friendly associates in the store. I can't speak to their prices because we bought our own tires and had them delivered for installation three days prior.The one major complaint we both had is the amount of time it took for the tires to be put on. His truck 2.5 hours, my car over 4 hours. Mind you we had an appointment and there was no one else there at all.I asked how long it would take to have an emissions test done I was told an additional 45 minutes. Needless to say I passed on that.To the point, ANY work you plan on having done, bring something to do as my husband did or get a ride and go back much later like I did.

Do not use..made a. Appointment for Nov. 5th at 230..went there and even though the sign said open and listed today's hours no one was there and no one answered any of the phone numbers..not even a courtesy call saying hey our tech is sick can you reschedule or anything like that!

I had a great experience at this location. I received exceptional customer service and help from Andy. He made the process really easy for me and he personally picked up the tires I needed to make sure I got my car back the same day. I appreciate this level of customer service and wanted to recognize and thank him for that. You can tell he cares about customers and that what gives the business a good reputation. Great job!!

Never come here. Not only did it take over 4 hours for a routine brake job, but they charged us $1,200 for it. Brake jobs are always way too expensive for no reason whatsoever and usually I d do them myself but we had no time. We dropped the car off early, only to find out the mechanic was late by an hour. He then spends over three hours doing rear brakes. (disk, easy) It is now noon, and I have work soon. The employee then yells at the other employees and calls them all morons in front of the customers inside. My car then gets done and gets taken for a test drive. It comes back and gets put on the lift because they messed the rear brakes up. Finally it gets finished. I leave the parking lot and hear tons of noise. By then I have to take my husbands car to work and he takes the car to work on it. After inspecting the car, none of the pads had any grease on them, they were jammed into the caliper so they were gonna get stuck to the rotor, and the heat shield on all four tires was rubbing on the rotor. Not only did they charge me more than double the price of what it should cost, they did a subpar job.At the same time, another woman was charged 500$ for one tire, and another woman was charged over $150 for an oil change. Absolutely insane. Never coming back.

Had a great experience on my first visit. Andrew helped me and I liked how he took the time to show me what was going on with my car and explain what he was doing. The price of parts is a little higher but I suspect it s because they use dealership parts. Which honestly I m perfectly fine with. You get what you pay for and this was worth it. Also the other staff were super friendly.

The two gentlemen that (Pablo was one of them) spent quite a bit of time checking out my vehicle and providing providing recommendations and suggestions. They went above expectations helping me out. I will definitely return when my vehicle requires servicing.

I had the catalytic converter cut out of my car in the parking lot of my apartment complex. Matt had fixed my husband's car previously and provided excellent work, super reasonable prices, and exceptional customer service, so I took my car in. Matt immediately checked out my car and gave me a thorough and easy to understand explanation of what was done, how it needed to be fixed, and how much the repair would cost. The estimate was VERY reasonable, and it was done within a few hours. The craftsmanship is fantastic and I am so thankful to have had such a horrible event made easier by Matt and Monro. I recommend them to everyone - everything about my experience at Monro was amazing. They are clean, quick, reliable, and friendly.

Matt was awesome! Super friendly and professional! I don t know much about cars... but I knew I needed an oil change :-). He took the time to explain the different types of oil, and made sure my car received the recommended type. Found out he was a fellow musician and we bonded on our love of reggae music while I waited for my car.They were fast and efficient. They are officially my car s doctor. I ll be going to them first for anything car related. The best car servicing experience I ve ever had. Thanks guys! Keep giving great service!

So, you'd think an appointment confirmation via text and email would mean your appointment is confirmed, right? Not at this Monro store. I get there in time for my appointment, which is well before closing, and the place is a ghost town. No one there, no one answered the phone, nothing. Fix your booking system, Monro!

Awesome service! Matt was friendly, professional, and polite. He worked with me to get a great price and was able to repair my window regulator on a very busy, hot day! He also took the time to clean off the crash wrap and tape that had been temporarily holding the window in place.I m very impressed by the service here and will be making this my go-to place for car repair and maintenance. Thanks again!

I normally take my Honda Odyessy to the dealership for service, but they charge an outrageous amount of money and getting my brakes done there would surely break the bank. I decided to look into Monro on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington. I read the reviews online and was encouraged by what I saw so I decided to make an appointment. When I walked into the store, a woman was finishing up her payment at the register. She seemed super pleased with the service she had received and thanked Matt several times for taking care of her car so quickly. I personally found Matt to be very courteous and professional. When you talk to him you get the sense that he takes pride in his work and appreciates your business. He inspected my car and, even though I had told him that I wanted to replace the front and back brakes, he actually told me that my front brakes could go without replacement for a while longer. I decided to replace them anyways, but I took note of his honesty. The price was reasonable and there were no surprises. I really could not have asked for a better experience.

The staff was pretty nice, a little cold but friendly.The price was decent from what I know about oil changes.However, they suggested that I get my brakes done soon, presumably to try and get me to make an appointment for them to replace my brakes. When I brought the car to my normal garage, they said the brakes were fine and not close to needing replacement.

Jose and Kevin are awesome! Their in person and over the phone customer service is exceptional. Extremely professional, helpful and accommodating. The technician Javier, does great work...timely and attention to detail is impressive. I would recommend this place to anyone. Definitely coming back! Not easy to find an automotive establishment nowadays that s overall truly for the people. Thank-you!

STRONGLY RECOMMEND! BEST AND FASTEST AND MOST REASONABLY PRICED AND OPEN SCHEDULED AUTO REPAIR PLACE TO GO! VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS! Matt and his team are awesome at Monro. HONEST AND RELIABLE AND DO NOT QUIT ON THE JOB NO MATTER HOW DIFFICULT! I honestly do not write reviews much at all, maybe a few in my life but had to write this one. I saw some customers being rude to them but they handled it all gracefully and with kindness and full information. I had several things done on two different cars recently and they never seem to stop amazing me. I called just a day in advance and they were able to book me right away and took me at the time they said (unlike some other auto repair shops who make you wait hours). I had new tires for install and balance, alignment, steering and front tie rods done and I know my car was going to be challenging with especially the tie rods and steering since it was done incorrectly before by another person. Through the challenges Matt and his team were updating me along the way and at the end didn't charge me a dime of extra time or labor that it took to actually replace my messed up tie rods. My car at the end was driving super smooth and steady and steering was strong and stiff like it had been a long time before..mind you I have a BMW coupe so most other repair shops wouldn't even work on my car. Had brakes done on an older Mercedes by them before and same thing; were awesome, courteous, amazing price, and quick! The quote they gave me at the beginning was the price they sticked to even though they spent a lot longer on labor to get it all done. I was there on a Friday afternoon, and right up until after close they were determined to finish my car because they said they would. They were extremely busy that afternoon but did everything, with updates along the way to me and amazing price at the end. Matt was kindly talking to me about some of the challenges they were experiencing with my car and the service I needed and was apologetic about the time it was taking but didn't charge me a dime extra even if understandably he had to. They were SUPER DETERMINED to finish the job and do it very well! They would not give up or try to up-charge me for additional labor time. They gave me a complete run down of what had to done now, soon, and what didn't have to be done right away; things I could come back for. They were super honest with me and very frank and I appreciate that fully nowadays especially in the auto-repair industry. Their decency and excellent service will not be forgotten and I am definitely switching to them as my full time auto repair go to center. I don't know Matt or the team that well yet as I have only been a couple of times, but I am looking forward to getting to know them and of them getting to know my cars. I am so happy I finally found a good and reliable and honest place 10-15 minutes from home. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED! YOUR VEHICLES WILL BE IN GOOD AND HONEST HANDS! I've had my fair share of repairs with all my used cars, and have been through hell and back at auto repair centers all over CT, so I do know a thing or two about the industry. These guys are just AWESOME!

Went for an oil change and tire rotation. Bill got me in and out and even took a look at a heat shield issue I was having at no cost. Great group of professionals who made me feel confident my car was in good hands. Expensive synthetic oil changes but there s coupons online I was able to use. All and all I ll be going back when I have an issue.

I went to Monro this afternoon to get an oil change on my car (it had been way too long.) My car requires synthetic oil and I was fully prepared to pay for the premium oil change service they offer. Unfortunately I didn t catch his name, but the gentleman helping me was so helpful, and honest. He told me that for the mileage on my car, that package was a bit excessive and I d be just fine with the regular synthetic oil change package. I really appreciated the honesty when most places would only care about upselling! My car was done in a timely manner, and they were very informative about how I need to make sure I bring in my car sooner, without talking down to me. I had a great experience and from now on this is where I will bring my car for maintenance!

Overall I had a really good experience. Had a radiator issue and they fixed it that same day. Fair price and the workers over there are really cool and doesn t try to sell you what you don t need.Thanks for the fix.I recommend you stop by here if you have any car troubles.

Matt made my day with fast friendly service .... clean restrooms and office and a knowledgeable staff. Matt made my experience worthy of a 5 star review. He educated me about my vehicle and I truly feel comfortable about his recommendations and feel he has my best interest in mind when it comes to my car. You know, I had written a good review for this company based on my experience. However, seeing that Munro on the Berlin Tpke has swindled my partner out of almost $2,000 I'd like to make a different review. A blown head gasket is not a difficult issue to diagnose. Why you didn't diagnose this and yet charge him all that money to do anything else to his vehicle is mind blowing. Now that he's gotten a second and third opinion on what you guys did, we are very upset that you would do this to a trusting customer. I know you will do the right thing and give that money back so that my boyfriend can actually get this problem fixed at a different auto shop. Shame on you.

These guys are great! They treated my amazing ride with respect. Matt (the manager) is a really nice person and is honest about your car needs. Go here if you want fast and friendly service with free Wifi! They are across the street from great stores too, which is nice if you want to take a walk while your waiting.

I was having an issue with my brakes so I decided to go to Monro Auto Service and Tire Center on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington. I spoke with Bill, the manager, and he was extremely helpful in explaining what needed to be done to my car. I am very happy with the results. I would not hesitate to use the Monro Service Center again.
