This place is horrible first of all Dennis the guy with the gray beard is extremely rude. He snaps at people including his co-workers. He's very abrasive. When I came to drop off my car, he was telling me that there was no way that it was going to be done that day as if I just kicked his dog 5 minutes ago. Not only was my car completed that day but when I came to pick it up the following day it wasn't there because apparently somebody else was allowed to take it.

Went to this location, they seemed a little busy but I took a chance. The guys took great care of me and my vehicle. They managed to get me in and out in a reasonable amount of time. The customer service was excellent, the only complaint I have is the vending machines lol. Buy at your own risk.!!!

Shoutout to Steve and Jason! 4 new tries and alignment later I m very happy with the result. Coming from high end Michelin tires to Firestone all seasons it felt like I was driving on a cloud on the way home!Outstanding customer service as well, called in with specific time requirements for my appointment, which were met (same day appointment).

My jeep was not safe. I had 4 bad tires. Jason was very helpful. My jeep is running great. Adding an update. My vehicle drives awesome because of Firestone. Tires still smell new! :)

I love Firestone.The first time we went there we were coming back from our weeklong camping trip from Maine and our brakes were making noises. We called Firestone and they said to bring it right in as soon as we got back into town, which we did. They put new brake pads on and we were so in awe. We didn t have to wait at all. Yesterday I had an appointment for an oil change at 2 and the guy there apologized right away,saying that it would be awhile because people called out. It meant a lot for him to let me know so in case I wanted to reschedule my appointment, but I waited. It took awhile but he kept coming out to apologize. Hey things happen. I ve been to other places and they would just make you wait not knowing what was going on. But not this guy. I highly recommend Firestone. They work hard and want to make sure that the customers are happy. They have a customer for life. Thank you I wish that I could remember his name. Happy New Year. God Bless you all.

Jason is wonderful to work with. We have been using Firestone for over 10 years now and won't go anywhere else especially now that Jason is at the Newington Ct location. He is always kind, always has a positive attitude and always tries to do the best he can for us. Firestone is very lucky to have him working there!!

Comparatively, the pricing I thought was high for an oil change and tire rotation to be $191. I could get it done at the dealership with certified service for $50 less. The front desk individual lacked all personality and was nice enough to call my cell phone while I was sitting in the waiting room 10' away. Then following up by asking me which vehicle was mine after calling my cell. Overall, I will only return to this location if I am forced to.

The staff is the reason I go to Firestone. There are lots of repair shops but Jason has been "my guy" in the auto repair business for many years. I've followed him to 3 stores now as he advances his career. Today I had a fantastic experience with Steve. Unfortunately my repair required a return trip due to needing an out of stock part, and Steve made it all easy. Called me when the part came in, then had me in and out of the shop in an hour when I arrived. Nothing is ever perfect, but the quality of character shown by the staff to make everything right is spot on. I can't recommend them enough.

Brought my Audi/Mazda & Nissan to Firestone for tires/pads/rotors and couldn t be happier with the service and price. Jason had assisted me and I really appreciated his customer service. I would highly recommend him and this location. I will certainly be a return customer asking for him specifically.

Unbelievable...I had an appointment at 9am for a simple flat tire fix. The clerk at the time said, "It might be a long wait because of appointments..." I told him I had one at 9am. Seemed to go on deaf ears. I left my truck there and my wife picked me up. I called several times and was told they were close to getting to my truck. By 1pm, still nothing so I called them again. The guy on the phone told me they are currently working on my truck and it's up on the lift. 3:30 hits and they close at 6pm. Instead of calling, I decided to walk because my wife was out and about. The walk was about 40 minutes and I figured this would give them some time and the benefit of the doubt. I show up! And my truck is in THE EXACT same spot it was left at 9am and it's now 4:15. I wanted my keys and the front desk didn't even hesitate to hand them to me. They proceeded to tell me that I was scheduled for 5:30. Well...if you are alotting times for customers 1. What's the point of scheduling an appointment? 2. You could've told me to come back at 5:15 and 3. It doesn't take 7 hrs to fix a damn flat.I'm very disappointed because my family has gone there numerous times and as a matter of fact I've been there twice for flats in the last 4 years (I had a 5 star review and took it down) and it took them an hour to repair. I went there again because of great service and also because I've purchased my tires there. I wanted to make sure if I needed a new tire, that it was right there on hand. A waste of a day and they lost my business for good.

If I could give this place a -10 I would. New management is horrible. He always is either rude or wants you to do more on your car. Doesn t stick to policy and honestly enjoyed going here for my oil change never had any problems until this new manager came. Overall horrible service. By the way they don t stick to their appointments online, your appointment online is basically useless and waste of your time. I made a an appointment for an oil change at 11:53am for 3pm never received a call that they couldn t do it. I get there and was denied service after making an appointment. Save your money and go to another fire stone.

I came here for an oil change & a brake inspection since my brakes have been previously replaced by the mechanics here before and I have been complaining about the same noise three times now. After first installation, they stated that the noise was coming from the fact the brake pads were incorrectly installed. They asked me who installed them originally to which I told them they did, therefore they re-installed new brake pads (this was in less than a year s time).The noise has continued. Upon today s inspection, they expressed that my back brakes were completely worn out and need replacement (since apparently only the 2 front had originally been replaced and paid for even though I had asked for all 4 to be replaced at once since I do not have time with work to keep driving back and forth) and suggested new brake fluid as well. At first I gave them the go ahead, but changed my mind quickly because of the issues I have been experiencing.After I left, I noticed a piece to my car was left underneath my windshield (which only became aware to me once I was on the highway and it began to move) which led me to inspect the rest of my car and that s when I noticed the cap to my brake fluid compartment was left free floating underneath my hood. If these obvious items are left in such a way, how can I trust the brakes would ve been completed correctly? I truly find this unacceptable, people come here and trust you to do something SAFELY and it s a little scary when items like this are carelessly missed/misplaced. This makes it hard to trust in your work for bigger issues.

One word, Jason. Jason became my preferred service advisor years ago when he worked at another location. Firestone service is always excellent no matter what store I go to, but it s nice being able to say I got a guy. Especially at a national chain. I have now followed Jason to a third Firestone store. As long as he is with the company,, I will continue to seek him out. But knowing I have coverage with Firestone, no matter where I travel, gives me peace of mind.

They always do a great job and never try to add "extra" services that I don't need. Even though they were short handed, they got me in and out in a timely manner. If you need to take your car in for work, make sure it's the NEWINGTON CT location.

On hold for 10 minutes. Won't be calling back either. No reason to be on hold that long. If everyone was on a break or busy they can easily pick up and tell me to call back in a few.

By far the worst had a 2pm alignment that lasted 2hrs makes no sense i get my tires alignment normally takes only 45mins on top waiting for 2hrs job that came back to now change arlt all i literally have my changes from last appointment they did nothing for 2hrs awful service!!!

I brought my care in for an Oil Change, and needed my back left tired checked for a possible nail in the time. It ended up needed 4 new tires. Jason was absolutely amazing and worked with me on getting me the best deal, and calling around to work on a great price! He got me what I needed and was able to hook me up with a few extra discounts. I highly recommend Firestone, and give much praise to Jason!

This firestone was highly recommended to me by friends. I was helped by Jason and he was great! His customer service was honest, helpful and friendly. I would recommend working with him specifically in the future and will be a return customer.

Front desk guy had no idea what he was doing...did not know the model of my car after I told him what it was, so he made me come over to the computer to tell him and then made me type in my address as well. Told him I made an appointment online, he didn't know how to check that. I dropped off the car at 11:30am for an oil change. I went to pick it up at 3:30pm, only to find out that they never did anything and my car just sat in the lot the whole time. Then I waited another 45 minutes in the store until it was done. Noticed my car was outside again, so went to front desk guy to ask if my car was done...he said yes. Guess my key was just hanging there for 15 minutes and he had no idea. Also asked to have my filter oiled (it's a K&N), that wasn't done. After all this, they offered me $40 bucks off the oil change.Overall, awful experience and not going back there ever again.Service: Oil change

I have always had exceptional service here!!I am not necessarily a fan of larger companies but this one feels like a small company offering superior services!Explaining patiently to me when I don t understand what issues I am having with my car!They are always willing to help with minor needs, such as checking air pressure without any cost!!Today I wanted a locking lug nut put on each tire because there have been recent thefts of tires and rims where I live and put them on for no charge with minimal wait!!Thank you for your exceptional customer service which is difficult to find!!

I don't recommend coming here. They pull the same shady tactics car repair places always do. I came in for what was supposed to be a quick $35 fix and they insisted with me that I needed $500 worth of repairs instead. I won't be coming here again.

I brought my work vehicle here and had a couple of tires installed. I was happy with the work. The staff was friendly.My only disappointment was the wheel lock key and bag were found on the passenger seat when I got it back. I would have preferred it to have been put back wherever it was found. Leaving it out appears to be passive aggressive to me. Perhaps the mechanic was upset I did not leave it out for him/her, however, I was unaware of its existence.Getting in and out of the parking lot is a little awkward of a set up.Overall, not a bad place to go for new tires...Service: Tires

We came here to get our brakes replaced. We allowed for three hours for a 90 minute job just in case. This Firestone ordered the wrong brakes, took over five hours to do a 90 minute service, and cost us money as we needed to take a lyft to and from since they completely failed to notify us of any issues. Do not come here if you need anything more important than an oil change done, and expect them to not notify you of problems.Edit: Checking the other reviews this appears to be a consistent issue with this Firestone.

Directly from their email I received after making an appointment:IMPORTANT MESSAGE:If your requested appointment date becomes unavailable, we will contact you directly to discuss rescheduling to a time that s convenient for you.No call, no contact so I go at my appointment time in a vehicle that keeps stalling. I get there to hear we don't have your appointment, we never confirmed it and our tech leaves in an hour and a half to go home. Very professional.
