Good service by the sales person. But later realized that the windshield wipers I paid was literally 3 times cheaper on Amazon. The next day, I called the store and asked if they can price match as their website says they would, I was told, "No!". I told the person on the phone that their website said it would price match, and I was told that they would only honor other auto parts stores. The further added that she realizes the website includes the "websites", but Amazon is excluded. The windshield wiper blades I paid at the advanced auto were 40 dollars each and Amazon had the identical items at 23 dollars each.

The guy Was very professional and helpful with helping me select the perfect wipers blades for my car and offering an advance care protection for my wiper blades . high quality does deserve protection I did not know they offer warrantee on blades very helpful and knowledgeable thanks LUIS

The ladies were awesome. They tested my RV battery, quick charged it and it was dead so she installed a new one and it was pouring out.

It is too bad the people of New Britain don't know how to act so they get a nationwide chain of generous reputation, in regards to lending of tools and ability to work on your car in the parking lot, to remove said privilege The cashier wasn't rude about these apparent changes but still I was disappointed.

This is my second time giving Advance Auto Parts a review. Ignacio was extremely helpful and went out of his way to help me explore the wiper blades for my car and offerred to change my rear blade for me. Really appreciate the 5 star treatment! Thanks again Ignacio.

I needed a new battery for or car. I went online and called their Newington store. I spoke with Tyler, who assured me that they had the battery I needed, and they would install it at no charge. I had a great experience. Tyler, the sales associate , had a positive, upbeat attitude and made a couple of recommendations that would be a positive asset to the batteries' life and performance. He also explained the process if anything went wrong under the 3 years warranty that came with the battery.I didn't have to wait. Tyler carried the battery to the car, uninstalled the old, and installed the new battery. He then cleaned the battery cable ends and connected everything back up, and bingo, we had lift off.I left with confidence, having all my questions answered and watching Tyler correctly go through the process of installation. I used to swing wrenches in my younger days and have done a few installs in my time.Based on this experience, I strongly recommend Advance Auto Parts and this young man, sales associate, Tyler. Good work.

My windshield blade flew off while I was driving and needed a replacement asap. My husband normally handles my car issues, but was too busy handling it. Niza (?), a young woman, was very friendly and kind, even when I confused the place with Autozone. She even installed. The experience was easy. I will be back.

This is a follow up review to a previous disparaging review I left prior to today. I am really happy to tell folks shopping at this store, if you have an issue here, take your concern to the general manager. The manager listened to my complaint & worked hard to get me a full refund. That type of customer service is unheard of. I am very impressed.

It would be nice to do business with this place... If only they would pick up the phone. I called several time throughout the day, rings a bunch of times and if they do pick up the phone, I was immediately placed on hold. I gave up after being on hold for several minutes. I guess I'll go to O'Reilly's or AutoZone.

Tonight I was incredibly fortunate to have help from Advanced Auto. It had rained all day, my car battery had died earlier this evening, and I had my battery jumped just to make it over to this store. When I got there, they did a free battery test and replaced my battery when it was dark and cold outside. I highly recommend this store and their services!

First time going here. Have had issues at other advanced auto parts, with my lack of knowledge forwards cars, would result in attitude or feeling stupid. Woman at the cashier, absolute gold. Was friendly, nice and extremely helpful. Was looking for a battery for my car key. She walked me thru the steps of removing and putting a new one in. Was a big help. Would and will return

Had a dead battery on a Kia Sorento, called up Auto Zone and was given the run around for days. Called advanced auto parts and they were able to take care of me in minutes!! Shout outs to Dylan who was able to replace the battery in no time.

Had the most uncomfortable and bizzare experience at the Newington location yesterday when I went to get my battery, alternator, and starter checked. After needing to buy a new battery I unexpectedly found out the guy who was doing most of the process and answering my questions regarding my car and the company regulations... Doesn't even work there!!!! Apparently it was the BOYFRIEND of an employee named "Ang" both were extremely unprofessional and it took everything in me to keep my cool. Apparently Advanced Auto Parts is okay with having just anybody assisting customers and touching peoples cars! SMH! Absolutely the most unpleasant experience ever. DON'T COME HERE!!!

I'm unhappy with there service. I came in today 7-6-16 at around 11 am and tried to return an expensive wrench I bought there 5 day's ago but it wasn't the one I needed. I was told when I bought it if it was the wrong one I could return it. But today they saipd I couldn't because they would have to recalibrate it. If I knew this before I would have bought it somewhere else. I'm definitely not shopping at this location again.

Business hours make it impossible to shop here if you work anything other than a Mon-Fri 9a-5p. Very few useful parts or brands in stock. I've been finding most of what I need online, and will continue to do so. Sad to see the demise of these brick-and-mortar stores to the internet, but one business is meeting consumer needs and the other is certainly not.

Great store and even better staff. Cara, Abby and Chris always are so helpful. When I need a part or have questions they are always willing to help and will go out of their way to get it done or figure it out.

I went in for a cabin air filter for my 2014 Subaru Outback. I found the part number in the book provided by the filters but couldn't find the product on the shelf. I spoke to the clerk and she said that the number in the book was an old number and there was a new one. She went in back and grabbed the part and came back...checked out and went to go put it in my car to find it doesn't fit. Went back and another clerk quickly fixes the issue and gives me the correct part. Though in the end everything worked out they should update their books and have more knowledged staff.

I can't say enough for the staff of Ashley stachelek and Eddy they were very knowledgeable quick to greet me quick to find what I need but they didn't know they looked up they were able to get good prices and do my brakes and Ashley was actually able to do one side of my brakes these people are very professional who worked very hard who deserve a raise they were a plus employees outstanding customer service recommend 100% to all my friends

I changed my oil Saturday afternoon and my friend told me that you can bring used oil here at no charge. The girl behind the counter showed me where to drop it off in the back and I was on my way. No hassle, no problem.

Went to purchase a car battery 3 days ago customer service was very excellent soon as I walked into the store created by two female cashiers on either supervises purchase a battery I went outside to stall it and both females came as hell no we would do it and I said thank you very much have a blessed day

Bristol location was out of stock on the part I needed, told me Newington had one. Drove to Newington. They couldn't find the part. Thanks for the wasted trip.
