I went to Monroe to see how much to fix my muffler would cost. I went there and had a very bad experience. First question I asked was is there a charge to check to see what it is and they said no. So they drove my car in the bay to look at it. Checked it for like two minutes and came in to the lobby to tell me how much. What one gentleman said made me not what the service with them, and I quote well it will be 500$ if you want me to weld it but I m not a good welder or 800$ if you want the gasket that is messed up and we will put it in. So I said no because he said he wasn t a good welder. I told him I have an appointment coming up and if I change my mind. I will right back after. So the gentleman in into the bay and when he came back he told me it s gonna 90$ charge for looking at the car knowing he said it s gonna be free. And told me I won t get my car until I pay. I had to find corporate number just so they can confirm it s free and after they drove my car next to me and walked away. My concern is a senior citizen visiting the store not knowing it s free or charging them something that s not true.Click to Copy

Went in for emissions retest and Rob and Ralph were very helpful. I had never had to retest so I was asking all the questions. They answered everything I wanted to know with quality and accurate knowledge and were very prompt with the service. Even provided some friendly banter to keep me busy during my 5-7 minute wait. Will definitely be back!

I made my appointment online for an oil change. Upon arrival I got in right away. During the inspection of my vehicle, I was told what I needed. Very friendly and professional. They are very busy so I do recommend making an appointment.

After 3 hours + For Oil change , Balance and Alignment Being the only one in line charge $157.00 well you be the judge, likely I had 40 min left to work. I will return back again but very early next time .

1. Attitude speaks!. Took an appointment and went in on time. Appointment through CarAdvise. Instantly it turned out to be a few hours wait.Mr.Rob was so arrogant. There are other appointments after me and he claims it doesn t matter. There was only 1 car in the bay and none outside. He started taking classes as what happens to an appointment at a doctor s office. Really?? At least be nice. Stay away from them. There are plenty of maintenance shop all around.2. Previous: The coupons provided in their website are useless. For some reason the price is still the same after applying the coupon.Also advertised as 29.99 conventional oil change and quoted almost $50. Overpriced!

I would have given no stars. My husband went in to get a simple emissions test done. There were no customer there so it should have been quick. Once my husband gave him his name (Spanish last name) he was turned away. Racists work there. I would NEVER EVER recommend them ever! I will tell everyone of this experience.

Went in with a dangling tail pipe. After an explanation of the exhaust on my truck I had it repaired/replaced within 2 hours. I thought that was great. Didn t have to come back a second time! Good group over there. My second visit and both times were really good.

Went in to replace 4 tires and the TPS after having the originals for 5 year. Upon receiving the car The TPS light was on. I went back into the store and said the new TPS weren't set up. He said they didn't have to be. (Say what?) They come pre-programmed from Tire Rack. I'm like, no they don't. Basically they lied to be since it was 6:15pm and didn't want to deal with it. Said come back tomorrow if it doesn't go away. Contacted Tire Rack, they they confirmed . . . they absolutely have to be paired with the car when installed. NOW, I don't even know if I can believe them when they said they did an alignment because they "couldn't/don't print out the alignment specs". Damn that got me good! Congrats Monro.

I came in for an oil change, tire rotation and to look at a low tire. I was told my tires were rotated and that they checked my tire for a leak with soapy water and didn't find anything. I paid and left and had to turn around and go right back because my tire was still at 26 PSI (should have been 35), and was in the same position as when I came in (when they told me they rotated the tires). They then said they didn't rotate the tires because the fronts were better and needed to stay there on an AWD vehicle. I had to ask them to bring the car back in and get all the tires filled to the proper PSI of 35. After 15 minutes the tech came back and said they had to fill a nail hole. I was told there was no leak visible and then magically they found a nail in my tire when I came back 10 minutes later? I also had to leave my car all day, even when I called the day before to make an appointment. I cannot even trust that they performed an oil change at this point. I will never return to Monro, especially this location, and will tell all my friends and family to do the same. $50 for an oil change and now I have to take it somewhere else to see if an oil change was even completed. Not to mention the techs were smoking and just hanging out in the garage - which had several no smoking signs posted. Very disappointed in this 'service'.

The service manager Peter was the most polite, courteous, and honest mechanic I ve ever dealt with. In the 10 years of owning vehicles I ve always felt taken advantage of because I don t know cars. Peter walks you through everything that needs to be done and is always honest about what it s going to cost. I will never go to another place again. I will always choose this store for my mechanical needs to be done correctly and promptly!

Made an appointment last week, 10/27/2022, to have snow tires changed over and an oil change. Schedule for 10:00am on Monday 10/31/2022. I walked in at 10:04am and was told I would have to wait 2 hours. No I won t.BEST BUY DISCOUNT TIRES in Brookfield will now get my business as they accommodated me (without a useless appointment) in 10 minutes.I ll get an oil change anywhere else.Pathetic!!

What a great team! And it was a pleasant experience overall, from start to finish: I called them on the phone at about 4pm on a weekend afternoon, and, as I was nearby, they advised me to stop by for an evaluation - and they ended up completing a changeover for all four tiers by 6:30, on the same evening! Nice, cultured people, knowledgeable and polite. A totally different experience as compared to their neighbors at Mavis.I recommend Monro for all your automotive needs.

This place is great!! Rob s phone manners are fantastic, he was very helpful with setting up an appointment. Hours are early in the morning to late in the evening, which is great for those who work strange hours. I needed a tire replaced and they were very helpful in choosing a tire and getting me in & out. In addition, they were super helpful in recommending another Monroe shop that was in a convenient place for me the next day to get the tire tightened. When I went to the other shop in Danbury I was there literally 5 minutes or less. Would definitely recommend this place to others!!

This location and the guys there are always awesome! Rob, Rich, Randy are great techs and know their stuff. I hope they are compensated properly to ensure they stay with the Company. They make me keep coming back.

They did a quick pre-sale vehicle inspection for no charge (smart business model - if I lived closer, I'd become a customer) and were fair to both the potential buyer and seller. Would definitely recommend.

Pete is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely kind. I called this morning for an appointment and was able to come in at 1pm. They seemed very busy and were able to start going over my van an hour later. My problem was thoroughly diagnosed and and Pete even brought me out while the van was raised to show me the issue. The fixes to my vehicle were things I could do myself and he told me what needed to be done and sent me on my way at no charge. I've gone to Monroe a few times now and feel that they are extremely trustworthy and it has always been a good experience

I can't say enough good things about these guys. Peter, the manager, has been so helpful and if I could give him and his guys 100 stars I would. It started with just needing tires and that's all I needed to find out what kind of business he's running. I wont go into all of the details, but I've had other issues with my car before I even came to Monro that they've helped me out with. Times are tough right now and as a single mom I have to make sure that my car stays on the road and they've definitely helped me achieve that. I can't see myself ever going anywhere else ever again. Helpful, friendly, and reliable! They communicate with me and give me every detail I need to understand what is going on with my car. I can't say thank you enough, and will continue to always recommend everyone I know go here!

Stopped in here based on a recommendation from a local resident. One of my tires looked low on air. Super nice mechanic dropped everything to check out tire pressure in all 4 tires, despite me not having a scheduled appt. Found tire was low and he filled. Since I had a long drive back to NYC, I decided to bring car in again later that afternoon to make sure air hadn t leaked and to confirm there was nothing more serious causing air to escape. Again, they went out of their way to take care of my concern before closing time. They repaired a small leak caused by aging rim and I was on my way in no time. The manager was just as warm and accommodating as the mechanic who helped me initially. Great experience, really nice guys. Definitely recommend!

Randy is amazing. I needed to bring in my husband, daughter, and my car to get tires, oil changes, and just an overall look at all 3 cars. Randy gave me the best deals and talked me through every step of the way. Randy also had another gentleman working with him and he to was amazing.

Best of the chain stores and best in town for quick reliable service. Pete is phenomenal and very knowledgeable and reasonable always willing to help wherever possible and take care of his customers and their vehicles. Randy is a great tech and dillan has great potential. Any work I don t do on the past 20 vehicles I ve had and 5 I have presently comes here. I ve been in the business 14 years and I trust these guys completely need I say more?!?!

Very friendly staff. Horrible quality of work.Brought van in for tire replacement, alignment, and oil change. Immediately after leaving there was a vibration and clicking noise coming from one of the wheels. Brought it back the next day, and they claimed that there was no vibration, and the clicking was just the hubcap. The hubcap was not clicking before bringing it in for service, and I have been in other identical vans that ride with no vibration whatsoever. The tire size was also wrong causing the speedometer to be incorrect at higher speeds.Fast forward a couple months. Brought the van to another shop. Received a call later in the morning that the oil pan screw was tightened so much by the previous shop (Munro) that they needed to replace the whole pan. I have trust in this shop since my company has been doing service with them for years and work on 20+ fleet vehicles.The guys here are very friendly. I don't like writing reviews, especially bad ones. I see a lot of positive reviews, but the lack of quality work that I received is entirely unacceptable.

The gang at Monro in New Milford does it again! My buddies truck needed tires last month, they gave me a great price on tires for him and then this month his fuel line started leaking. Pete, did everything he could and got the best price on parts and they guys did it in 1/2 the time the Dealer said it would take, saving a lot of money!!! Go see Pete and Rob and the rest of the Crew. They are good people. Fair and honest.

The guys at Monro in New Milford are always so helpful! They will try to fit me in as soon as possible when I have an issue and have no problem recommending other places if they cannot do the work themselves. I will continue going there for all my car repairs.

There is no place on earth I trust with my cars more than this place. Pete Zaborowski, who runs it, is a paradigm of expertise and integrity. If you want your car fixed right the first time at a reasonable price without someone trying to sell you a lot of stuff you don't need, then this is the place for you. I always have an overwhelmingly positive experience getting my cars fixed here.

One of the nicest managers there. Also the guy who worked on my car was very professional. I am going there from now on for all my service needs. Great prices, was even nice of them to cut me a labor charge when I brought in my own Cabin Air Filter instead of using theirs. A+!
