Town Hill Auto does great, reliable work, at a more than fair price, and they're quick. I have stopped giving my business to other shops in the immediate area for Town Hill because they were just so much better at what they do. I'll always take both my cars back to them.

I ve been bringing my vehicles to Townhill auto since 2016. I wouldn t choose anywhere else to have any type of work done. They are professional, they are knowledgeable, And they are proficient in everything that they do. 100% honest with letting you know what needs to be done and what can wait but will need to be done in the future. Went in today 2-24-24 for my emissions test at 11 am. I stood in the office for almost 10 minutes with out anyone coming out to acknowledge my presence. I can hear people talking and working in the shop. So I ring the bell, nothing. I call out and get zero response. I then call and I can clearly hear the phone ring. Nothing. Then another customer comes in for an emissions test. This is when I get really frustrated and go to the door to the shop area, knock loudly and finally get someone's attention. This is when I was told they are closed today. There was no signs or anything. The door was unlocked. According to the state emissions site they are open. This is absolute bull. They should have the decency to at least put out a sign!!

Town Hill Auto is a top notch automotive repair shop and Center as well as a great place to pick up a used vehicle for a very fair price. I have worked with Mike. He has always been a straight shooter. He and the rest of the staff are trustworthy and honest. I waited a whole year hoping that I would get my refund I gave a total of 3000 in cash plus this Volkswagen Touareg as a deposit to Tom the owner I financed an additional 13,000 to buy this Acura for Uber work as you can see the backseat had some kind of acid spilled on it. Tom assured and me we could buy a backseat and take care of it. Ilive in the New York City area and it takes me two hours to get back to the dealership. For 6 weeks I asked him about it and said I can t work unless the backseat was fixed. It also took a whole month for the paperwork to be completed. I got impatient and had them send me the paperwork so I could go get my license tag from DMV. He acts like a born again but far from it. Attached are pics . Tom fits every stereotypical used car salesman. Driven by money only

The team at Town Hill were excellent when I recently purchased a car there. Seth in Sales was honest, upfront, professional and friendly. Being a first time car buyer, I was weary of the process. But Seth made it an easy and enjoyable experience. His Service department had my Jeep ready to go the very next day. I would recommend Town Hill to anyone that is considering buying a car. Most fantastic people with whom I've EVER conducted "car-related" business. Needed to go through CT emissions having just completed the same thing in RI, like, two months go!Austin was so inviting on the phone, having given me directions on how to get there, that I drove right on over. Jody (spelling?) was no less wonderfully approachable, since I met her first, in the office. I will ONLY go to them for any and all future car needs, and plan to stop in...just to 'visit' since they invited me to. Excellent, friendly, caring service. Oh, and my car passed (again) with flying colors!They're even better the second time around!I returned to Town Hill Auto for my (2nd-time) CT emissions; and stayed to get my oil & filter changed as they were able to accommodate me and my time crunch.Wonderful staff: Tom, the owner, who introduced himself to me today; and John, at the counter, who patiently and kindly answered my many questions; and Nefty, who provided the stellar auto-needs service! I will definitely return (for the one minor other thing my car required, during their thorough 17-point free inspection)!It feels great to feel great about a family-run / operated business when it's a full car service center with responsibly reasonable prices and a fabulous crew!

Great place! I set up an appointment with Bobby to take a look to possibly get a new vehicle. Not only did I find a great car that I love very much and drove home in it but the service was really fast and they made it work for me. I feel very comfortable with the payments and very satisfied with the service. Everyone had a great energy and I felt very welcomed. I recommend Town Hill Auto to everyone in search for a car. We ve bought several cars from this place and have never been disappointed. My daughter bought her first car today and couldn t have been more excited. Thanks to Bobby for all his hard work and dedication in making sure she got into the vehicle she wanted, he promised her that he was going to get her in a car and that s what he did. I highly recommend Town Hill Auto! Love the staff as well!

Stopped in to have them check my tire valves, even tho I purchased the tires elsewhere. Not only did they replace the faulty valves, they sealed the other 2, reset the sensors, explaining everything in easy to understand language, no BS, and no charge! Every time I've been there, everyone from the counter person to the mechanics are exemplary. Highly recommend this place!!

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!I always take our automobiles to Town Hill Auto for emission testing. Very little wait time. This past visit I spoke to Oryn regarding a new tow hitch for my 2003 Ford Ranger I just purchased. He checked it out thoroughly and quoted me a very good price compared to other garages. He ordered the parts and said they would call to schedule installation. Three days later the parts came in and we scheduled installation next day. I dropped pick-up off. Within two hours I received a call from Peter saying the truck was ready. Pick up was ready as promised. Price was as quoted. They even checked the original Ford harness to insure that it was working, at no additional charge. Job well done. I will return to have work done on other vehicles as needed! Very satisfied!

I had a great experience at Town Hill. I told John what I was looking for and he instantly helped me pick out a great car. Within an hour him and Cooper not only got me accepted and ready to go but gave me a loaner car for the night so they could detail my new car and so I wouldn't have to uber to work the next day.They went above and beyond even helping me find the cheapest car insurance when I was finding outrageous prices. As a lone female walking into a place to buy a car, it can be nerve wracking but they are honest and helpful and want you to leave there with a safe, reliable car. The car is in amazing condition, low miles and a newer year, without insane payments or down payment.If you want to go to a place you can trust with amazing customer service I HIGHLY recommend this place.

The Town Hill staff is great. I went in for my emissions testing and was in and out in 20 minutes. ThanksWas back again yesterday for emissions. Staff is great there friendly, fast and efficient.

Very friendly, efficient service! These guys squeezed me in at the very last minute of the day (4:59pm) for an emissions test, after the Firestone guy down the street had checked out 15 minutes early (4:45pm). They were extremely nice about it, didn't complain that I came by last minute, and they had the test done in less than 5 minutes!

Excellent customer service. Got an emissions test for out of state car that was going to be registered to CT next day at the dmv in old saybrook, and they were very nice and professional. Got emissions test done in 10 minutes. I was the second person there when I went and got in and out. Highly recommend.

Bobby was amazing! We have had a few rough years with our credit. He worked with us when no one else would. By lowering his take and the overall price, we were able to afford a new car for my wife. She has never owned a car that wasn't a lemon or run down clunker. We will continue to buy from Bobby as we upgrade and add more vehicles to the mix.
