They should not even receive 1 star honestly. Very awful customer service. I waited for the tech to come and look at my windshield because it was making strange noise for almost 3 hrs past the time frame I was given. I called them and I found out they had no intentions of coming. The manager took it upon herself to cancel my appointment!! How do you just cancel someone s appointment and not even notify them? When I spoke to her she even had the audacity to tell me if I keep making appointments she will keep canceling them because there is nothing wrong with their work. Needless to say I ended up having my car checked out at the Manchester branch. They did a great job fixing my issue.The manager in New London Charisse (not sure if spelling) was very unprofessional and rude as well as dishonest. Some retraining is definitely needed!!

Customer service sucks, I got hung up on twice, and when I was finally able to speak with someone, the woman that I spoke with was very rude, my 4th call was finally someone nice and understanding to my situation. My rear windshield shattered and I needed it fixed asap. It happened on a Monday and they were able to send someone to my work that Wednesday. Charles was the tech that came out, he was very nice and explained everything to me. He was very fast too, got it done in about 20 minutes (to be fair it would've taken longer if he needed to remove the windshield but that didn't apply to me). Overall trying to call the customer service is a headache, but once an appointment is scheduled and the tech comes out to help, its a pleasant experience.

Is there any way you can have someone to be receiving the calls because someone can not book an appointment without knowing how much it will cost me. When calling the 860 the automated machine is not helping. i just had an accident so i wanted to know how much it will cost once the body is fixed.

Safelite did not show up 4 consecutive times over 4 weeks. After waiting over one month to have my car windshield replaced I had to find another repair shop because I could not even get them to return my calls, even when they stated they would investigate and get back to me they did not. They refused to let me talk with management. The only insight they offered, was after the second time they did not show up, stating they were having difficulty obtaining the windows. I ended up scheduling the repair with Mobile Glass Works in Ashaway, RI who obtained the window and completed the replacement within 2 days as scheduled. Safelite not only didn t replace after four weeks, but just didn t show up or return calls 4 times - worst service.

STAY AWAY from this company. I recently had a replacement service done on my car's windshield, but it was returned to me with a faulty windshield and black fingerprints all over the ivory interior. The company sent a technician to confirm the damage. He confirmed it and recommended a warranty appointment. However, when I brought my car in for the appointment, the management refused to fix it and was extremely rude. Upon my return to retrieve the car in question, I found that no notification had been conveyed to me before my arrival. Despite their promise to remove the black fingerprints, they ignored my request. I urge you to avoid this company at all costs and find a new manager who is more COMPETENT and respectful. She is impolite and unpleasant. I will be taking my service elsewhere, and informing everyone of this.

The lady on the phone tried to tell me that there wasnt enough room in MY garage for the technician to change out the windshield.. I have changed out motors in that garage so there is more than enough space. These employees need to update their customer service skill or call out of they are having personal issues that prevent them from doing their job correctly, which shows their lack of concern for the company paying their bills and more importantly the customer.

Extremely rude customer service. They said I was wasting their time. I eventually ended up cancelling my appointment when it was not scheduled correctly and they tried to charge me $54 more dollars after I had already checked out. The front desk should be required to take remedial customer service training or be fired for their lack of concern for the company s reputation as well as the customer.

So I read some of the reviews after my incident and it seems that this is an on going issue. The manager Charisse is extremely rude and lacks basic customer service skills and communication. I was running 25mins late for my appointment and called to let them know and I was told it was ok when I got there I was told by Charisse that they would not take my car because I was more than 15mins late. I explained to her and showed her that I called and she rudely responded well you didn t call me she then proceeded to yell and talk over me instead of letting me explain what happened. She ended up taking my car in after arguing and going back and forth with me for 30mins. She also told me it would take 4-5 hours to I would will never come back to this location again and hopefully Charisse takes some training on customer service. Very poor leadership skills and some of her employees were watching her. She even suggested I take my car to another business! I highly recommend if you re taking your car here DO NOT.

Avoid coming here or don t leave your car for your appointment. Dropped the car off before 9am for my 9am appointment. Received a text at 9am saying the replacement service has started. Hadn t heard anything after so I called around 3pm to see when I could pick it up. Girl on the phone said they just put the new windshield on and they needed to calibrate still, but it s next in line so it shouldn t be too long. Received another text around 3:30 saying the replacement service has started. Left my house at 4pm thinking it ll be done when I get there. Arrived at 4:30 and the windshield was off so the new one either hadn t been put on yet or there was an issue with it. Waited there until 5:45 before it was done. This Safelite might have been short staffed, but they were poorly managed, multitasking and I don t believe my car was almost done and next in line like I was told. I saw at least 5 other people waiting for their cars after 5pm. They re only open until 5. Kudos to the staff for working late, but maybe management shouldn t allow as many appointments when they can t handle that many.

Second time coming here in two yearsThe techs have absolutley no respect or care for cutomer vehicles. Had my windshield replaced today, upon pick up wiper blades was on backwards and dash, seats and floor were covered in glass shards, and they gougedmy driver side apillar cover with a knife as well as none of the trim being installed propwrly and adhesive all over exterior paint. Absolutley awful

This place was awesome. From minute i went in customer service was excellent all round from the staff. They made it easy and were super respectful. Nothing but good things to say. I didnt get the ladies name who was working but she was great and super nice. Would definitely recommend.

Lucas is a very polite young men. He is a key asset to safelite. I really do appreciate him taking time to demonstrate a water drain leak from my subaru crosstreks sunroof. His expertise in the matter really impressed me. Once again thank you LUKE

I went in today for my cars window replacement. The person who helped me out was Eduardo he was quite professional and answered all doubts I had. He walked me through the whole process of the replacement of my window and the recalibration of my camera. The wait was reasonable and while I was in the waiting area Charisse offered me plenty of snacks and a very clean environment. The guy working on my car (Eduardo) went out of his way,he cleaned and even vacuumed the inside of my car. I definitely recommend stopping by if you re looking for good quality and affordable service .

Awful service and can not even call them ask them questions. I was force to go online and make an appointment. I had poor quality window from them very blurry window and not safe to drive!! I m not happy!! Unacceptable!!

Trash. Terrible customer service. Had to replace their first job. Took them 4 visits to figure it out. And actually my dealership figured it out for them. Late for appt times. Not confident this time will even fix it. No apologies. No wasted time back. Covered by insurance so no refund back. Hours of my time I won't get back.Update I just read all the other reviews there is no way this place should have over all 4.1 with all the 1 star reviews.Update update. They were supposed to come at 9am. Showed up at 1230. Office made up a reason why they were late because driver had another story. The office has rude when I called to ask where they were. Just saying "it'll get done" 5 times they had to put their inept hands on my car to get it right. The tech (Paul)that came out today was the only pleasant one and it appears as though the windshield was replaced correctly this time. Only time will tell.No apologies at all. Only lies and blaming others. They took no responsibility for how awful of a job they did. As I said in the beginning. TRASH

I got my windshield replaced today on my Saturn. They put the new windshield in fine, but the rest of the service is unacceptable. Theres a ton of glass fragments inside of the car, including on my childrens carseats (idek how they managed to get glass in the BACK seat). They left their garbage inside of the car, a water bottle that had a hole in the cap leaked all over the floor due to it being left underneath my seat. They also damaged the inside of the roof. Thanks for the new windshield but i definitely will not be returning. And of course they arent doing anything to fix the issue, even though i had to clean glass out of my childrens carseats.Services: Auto windshield repair, Wiper blade installation

The staff just lies.They have put 2 windshields on my car, the first one they installed was cracked the second one leaks. I spent over an hour doing the leak test on a Saturday morning and they were ready to change the windshield then but I did not want to spend another 3 hours there so I asked to schedule it for another time which I needed to change. Now they are saying I have to come back in for another water test. No one is available on Saturday for it and they won't set an afternoon appointment because they leave when done. The kid who did the water test apparently didn't take a video when he did the first test so the manager will not authorize the warranty work or call me.Reached out to corporate and waiting for a call back. I don't care if you insurance company makes it easy to use this place, DONT DO IT the hours of your life spent getting it fixed are not worth it. Go somewhere else and ask your insurance company for another name.

It was an awful experience. They replaced my glass but could not get the eyesight to work in my Subaru Outback. Nevertheless, they charged me the full amount for the unsuccessful recalibration. I called the warranty office and they told me the district manager would call me. No follow up. My dealer at home told me they not only failed to perform the complete stereo camera adjustment, their technician also damaged my console when replacing the glass. Terrible company. Terrible customer service.

I always trusted them due to their commercials. I see they are negative low star reviews but my experience was good and I always leave good reviews. I was behind a commercial/dump truck this past Wednesday and a small rock left a small cracj in my windshield. I went to Eastern Insurance Agents in Mansfield and they filed a claim with my insurance and aI arranged an appointment with them for yesterday. I recieved a text they would be there between 2-5, And they were there before 2. My tech Mike was great, Informative, And progessional. Job including windshield replacement was done in under 2 hours. I only had to pay for the wiper blades. Great job Safelite and would highly recommend to others!

Easy appointment booking and online payment option worked well. Dropped off my car and was updated on progress via text to completion. Bailey the technician did a great job and even vacummed the car for me. All staff were professional and polite.

This is taken several months in order to get everything resolved!!!After several conversations with the manager I learned that the entire shop in New London is incompetent. They have couple of good technicians, but the office staff is not worth your time.Look over your car after they re done with the repairs had glue all over my car that they had to remove it after saying something about it. They broke the plastic cover which no one reported. Also stay outside with your car as the technicians like to jump up onto the engine area if they can t get the windshield wipers off your truck.Another tech guy came out and said yes the plastic cover is broken and they would have to order a new part. Found out after waiting three weeks of the part was never ordered. When they finally told me the part was in they couldn t locate it as I had to reschedule my appointment due to scheduling conflicts. Was told that due to inventory it was probably sent back even though I had an upcoming appointment for the replacement parts to be installed.Finally spoke to the regional manager and he got to the bottom of it they actually ordered the wrong part there was two parts I need to order which only one part was ordered. And today the technician came and replaced the two parts that were needed.My recommendation is at the first sign of delay or excuses as to why something is not being done in a timely manner is that you speak to the regional manager directly and don t waste your time with the shop manager

Scheduled first appointment and when I arrived they ordered the wrong windshield (allegedly, looked like nobody wanted to stop playing with their phones). Rescheduled for 2 days later, walked in and I apparently wasn't on their schedule. Wanted to reschedule me for another 2 days. I walked out. Lost work, and wasted other peoples time as I needed to be picked up when dropping the car off. Overall a super frustrating experience.

I ll update after they do my repair. But to note. Don t assume if you have a scheduled appointment and drop the keys for that appointment that they will check the box for keys. Impossible to call local shop for status. Only safelite location that can handle repairs that require safety calibrations which are done on site only. Congrats on the monopoly.

I was scheduled for a mobile windshield replacement from 8-12. At about 11:00, I was called to say the technician couldn t make it and rescheduled to the following week, same time. The woman indicated their system was down and I would receive a confirmation email later. The email came days later for a different time which I couldn t do. I rescheduled again online for the following day. The shop contacted me to ask if I could bring my car in rather than do mobile service due to rain, which was fine. I brought my car in to finally have this service done. The tech indicated the only windshields they had on hand had scratches in them and if I wanted a new windshield without scratches, we d need to reschedule because they needed to order more. So I am rescheduled yet again another week out. It has been 3 weeks since my first appt and the crack in my windshield has gone from 6 inches to about 30 inches. The staff all seem very nice, but this shop seems very poorly managed. If you need a repair or replacement done in a timely manner, I recommend you go elsewhere.Service: Auto windshield replacement

Got my windshield replaced on my brand new vehicle. After the first rain storm, water had leaked into the electrical components and rendered the car not safe to drive. After communicating with the problem, the agreed to fix the windshield and pay the dealership to assess any issues. After 10 days of my car sitting in New London, they refused to let the dealership look it over because at that point the "codes were clear" the manager, Cherise is extremely unprofessional and blamed the miscommunications on another employee being "too new to know what to say".To summarize, do not get your windshield replaced here. Waste of so much time, effort and money.Oh and to top it off, when I finally realized there would be zero hope at effective communication and decided to just leave, they had given my spare key away to another customer.

Wonderful respectful service. I had a broken window on my car, all I had to was call. Get them set up to order the window and the other parts that go with it and within a week I was in.The replacement only took about half an hour. I'm am very happy with the work done!

Multiple rescheduled appointments with many excuses. Person in New London office rude and unprofessional, when asked to have manager call, they never did the glass they put in has green marks on it. If the insurance company uses anyone else, I would let them.
