Had regular service/maintenance done here twice. Average time was 2 hours. Both times, I chose to wait. There are desks in the waiting area and decent wifi. Service advisor came over around the 1 hour mark to update me. For the most recent visit, she came over, suggested tire replacements (I declined) and I asked for the brake fluid flush which took another hour. Overall, decent experience.

Just bought a new car. I had the best experience I was nervous and actually thought I could not make it happen. Well from my first phone call to ask about a car with John to then Luckson the best dealer I could have asked for, to Mike in financial services explaining everything on my payments and making it comfortable. Much appreciation to the owner Mark made the whole thing come together and possible. This was amazing experience. thank you again

Bought a used Audi from this dealership, which went fairly smoothly. When I arrived to pick up the car later in the day, I was told that the car had been prepared for my arrival. However, I was met with dried up spilled coffee in the back seat armrest, a layer of dirt across the entire vehicle, an empty gas tank, and a spare key that needed a battery replacement in order to function. All of these were easily fixable, but the lack of attention to detail made me feel like I was buying from a private seller directly off of his driveway. It was the lack of simple courtesy that made the experience feel like I was more a burden than a customer.

I went in to get my oil changed and tires rotated. After waiting a half hour longer than told at the desk, I asked about the delay. I was told that a lug had been snapped when putting the tire back on. According to them the last service technician over-tightening them, which is not true. My dad had personally monitored all previous services and ensured a air impact was never used. My dad called in to investigate this and reached a customer service representative who was very inattentive and distracted, mishearing his name three times and accusing him of being rude when he raised his voice slightly to enunciate. The representative put him on an endless hold loop. I went to Service Advisor Rory to understand the situation, and Rory continued to pass the buck for the service center, saying the last service was the origin of the problem. He also advised that a second lug had been snapped in the meantime and they were recommending replacement of all lugs on the car to be safe. I accepted this, on the understanding that it would be covered under warranty, and took a shuttle home. The next morning, I received a call from Rory advising they would not be honoring the repair under warranty due to modifications to the tire size and suspension that I ordered from the factory at the original purchase- and was installed by the Toyota dealership I purchased the car from. I am currently stranded in my home, rescheduling another day of work. A look at other reviews shows a history of predatory practices in the service department at this Toyota service center, and Rory is very passive aggressive. No matter the resolution, I will not be dealing with this service department again in the future. Thousands of Prius lift kits have been installed by Toyota dealerships with no issues or warranty denial.

My husband was run into and our old Corolla was totaled. We looked around, ranked to different Toyota dealerships, research what we wanted in a Corolla Hybrid and must say, this was a TOP SHELF staff. Each and every person working there was kind, knowledgeable, professional, all that. We highly, highly recommend Girard Toyota!

I told them what I thought was wrong with my car. They charged me $160 to pretty much say the same thing of what I thought was wrong which was the battery, and also to tell me that my car mat was impairing the gas petal which it wasn t. Without my consent they moved my mat to my trunk and left trash in my car. Then they proceeded to propose to me a quote to replace the battery which was absurdly expensive. This place does a great job at taking advantage of their customers.

Girard Toyota treats you like family. When you walk in for service, you re greeted with smiles and friendly faces. I needed an oil change, tire rotation and a general check up. It was reasonably priced, they had their driver take me to get a Starbucks while I waited, and I was out and on my way in less than an hour. Someday I ll write about my experIence buying a car there. I didn t have a job but they jumped through so many hoops to put a brand new car in my hands. It s a wild story with crazy details but suffice to say I am extremely grateful to them.

I usually don't write bad reviews, but honestly I'm furious with this dealership. I bought a brand new car from them about a year and a half ago. The car itself is great. The issue I have is the people working at this dealership and how scummy they are to let me think I walked away with this amazing deal. Currently I was looking into possibly trading my car in for a different style of car. It turns out this "Amazing" deal I was told they gave me wasn't so amazing. The warranty on my car is over sooner than I was told it would be and come to find out they lied to me about how much they gave me for my trade in. Thanks to this "Amazing" deal they talked me into, I'm now upside down in my loan thanks to the mark up on the MSRP they did. We worked with Carey back when the car was bought. Apparently he's now a manager at Toyota. I would never do business with him again. You don't lie directly to someone's face just to make a sale. I understand it's a car dealership, but it's infuriating when they make you think they care and they make you think you're getting this incredible deal and it was all just a lie. I will NEVER work with this dealership again. The sales people are a bunch of scumbags. The service area also needs work. The guys working on the cars are really great and I've never had an issue with them. The one girl with glasses who works customer service for the service area gave me such an attitude last time I brought my car in for service. It's sad because a year and a half ago, even a year ago I would've had really great things to say, but after finding out how much this dealerships screwed me over, I will make sure to let everyone I know know to NEVER buy a car from here. I'm really really disappointed. Toyota was always my go to car brand. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

They dangled a car under my nose, then switched to the offer while insisting I let them hold my deposit , after five days after playing phone tag with the salesman, I went and got my deposit back. My credit rating dropped 30 points afterwards. I suggest that you look elsewhere, especially since I had bought two other cars from them. Legal action ensuing!

All the staff are knowledgeable, professional, helpful and I always leave with as good a feeling as one could have about the service offered and performed, the reason I continue to have my truck serviced there and it starts and ends with the faces you see and the interaction you have with the staff up front. Highly recommend.

Great people great service. We had an electrical problem with our RX350 and they took the time to throughly go through the vehicle and find a solution. Also recommended service that brought our car back to running like new...truly a transformation of our driving experience. Highly recommend..

I just test drove a 2024 fully loaded Toyota RAV4. Anderson did a amazing job going over the vehicle. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle. He explained the way the vehicle functions and the reason why they function . He was also amazing in trying to find the best deal so you get the bang for your buck. If you are looking for a Toyota in the New London area don't wait ! Go and ask for Anderson he will take good care of you

Go see Shannon and Nick! While I m sure the other salesmen are great, my husband and I did business with these 2 gentlemen and their customer service is impeccable. Any future vehicle transactions between my husband and I will be through them - thank you both for getting me in the vehicle I ve always wanted!

I was lucky enough to have my frame recalled by Toyota and replaced on my Tacoma. Hillary the service rep was wonderful she got it scheduled in a very short period of time and kept me informed with everything that was being done and everything that the truck may have needed while things were apart and it was the best time to do it. I met with the mechanic Santos who has a lot of experience and is very knowledgeable and does terrific work I even stopped in in the middle of the process and saw what they were doing and I can't say I could be any happier. I've seen a lot of service issues lately in other places but the service at Gerard Toyota has been exceptional.

2010 Prius. I will never bring my car there. Last time I was there I was told a month ago before they even checked the issues that I had, that my rear axle is rusted badly and is a problem well I got under it and looked absolutely nothing wrong with it. Yes I am qualified to inspect welds and steel rot. I m licensed and certified welder with 45 years of experience. Was told most likely a bad head gasket. Wrong again. Simply drain the oil and check it, which they did not do. Then I did a compression check on the engine which they did not do. They said because a leaky coolant line 1 inch from the end which I caused. I simply cut 1 inch off and put it back on and inspected the entire hose which was fine. The mechanic could of easily done this. But no they wanted 500$ to change it before they would do anything else, you know the reason why I brought it in the first place. So I go home with a 300$ bill that shows me this is a bad place to go and they did nothing. Up selling seams like the only thing that they were interested in. You see this everywhere it s a shame that money is more important than honesty and customer satisfaction. BOOOOOO

The Girard Toyota service center team is consistently wonderful. They get me right in with no wait, finish when they say, and explain options when additional services are recommended or needed. The customer service and timeliness beats the dealership I used to use for service.

Service department - beware that they will have you preauthorize amounts to diagnose your car - even if you did not ask for that service. I asked for a multipoint inspection and oil change. They charged me for diagnostics. I only received technician notes after I called back after car pick up stating that I didn t get any information and on the notes it said they spent zero minutes on the things they charged me for, and the multipoint inspection sheet which is standard at a dealership - I had to request and it had the wrong date like they didn t do that either and only filled it out because I requested it. The diagnostic was wrong - another dealer said those were not problems at all. Maybe bc they never diagnosed it like the charges indicated. I was just given a bill with an itemized list of what I said was wrong. $75 added to tell me my tire pressure gauge isn t working when I had the light on and already knew that. I feel that minimal service was given with maximal charges. Lesson learned - do not preauthorize or sign anything that seems odd to do up front. I have never had this experience at any other Toyota dealership. I will not be returning and wanted to advise others of the predatory practice at Girard Toyota. This is why they have 1/5 stars on better business bureau rating.

I came in expecting to pay a thousand bucks to troubleshoot and repair my tire pressure sensor system which finally (after 10 years on my 2013 Tundra) showed an issue. Hillary was extremely helpful and walked me through the process. The technicians would troubleshoot and isolate if it was a sensor or the entire system. It turned out to be only one sensor and they checked to make sure that the other three were still healthy! So only the cost of one new sensor and gasket kit and less than an hour s labor. Very happy (as always) with the service and quality of the repair!

I cannot say enough good things about Kaitlin and Lenny in the service department. They are absolutely the best. I had a problem with my car yesterday, I called and they said come right in. Took care of it in less than half hour and I was back on the road. Thank you for a service above and beyond.

My wife took her Prius to Girard after the catalytic converter was stolen. From the police photos (see attached), it was clear that the wire to the oxygen sensor was cut (I even had an estimate from the parts dept 2 weeks earlier showing the cost to replace the catalytic converter AND oxygen sensor), BUT Girard had to "inspect" the vehicle. They then charged us $125 and $10 for shop supplies to give us an estimate (also attached) that DID NOT include the oxygen sensor. Here are some questions for Mr Lenny Galante (service dept manager):1) How did your technician (A45), service advisor (Hilliary Drexler), and you miss the cut wire to the oxygen sensor?2) What shop supplies were used when you "inspected" our vehicle? No work was done on our vehicle, so no shop supplies would have been used.3) We never gave written approval for an estimate over $50. Why do you and your service advisors operate in violation of state law?4) How long did it take your technician to take photos of the damage? Doesn't a 1-hour diagnostic fee seem excessive?5) Why did you threaten "storage fees" when you never contacted us after you inspected our vehicle?6) Why did your technician, service advisor, and you provide a materially deficient estimate which DID NOT include the replacement of the oxygen sensor?7) How often are "fuel lines damaged" when a catalytic converter is stolen? This was the excuse that your service advisor gave us as to why our vehicle needed to be inspected. Even the insurance adjuster laughed at this explanation.8) Why did you threaten to charge us "restocking fees" when we never authorized any repairs to be done?Ultimately, we paid $143 for an estimate that told us less than we already knew from the police photos of the damage. Why would we ever have you or your service department work on any of our vehicles? How can overlook such incompetence and/or willful negligence?

Girard Toyota is the best place to buy a car and have it serviced hands down! I have purchased 4 vehicles and my other family members purchased 4 as well! From beginning to end its excellent service! I definitely would recommend Girard Toyota if I could give them 10 stars I would!

Own a 2013 BRZ and I prefer to go here to get my servicing and parts over the nearby Subaru. Pete is an absolute pleasure to work with and makes taking my business here a no-brainer.

The dealership is very clean, and everyone is very friendly upon arrival. Anderson took care of us. He was very respectful, insightful, and patient as can be. He not once rushed us, and he listened to everything we said. We found the car that perfectly fit our needs and worked out a deal that we greatly appreciated.

As a first time car owner I must admit Anashatier was absolutely amazing. Not only was she knowledgeable and helped answer all my questions but her personality was so comforting I almost felt as if I ve known her for years. My purchase went through a few hiccups and at times I became hesitant but Ana refused for me to get discouraged. Thank you Ana, Mike from finance and Kerry from management your team is awesome!

First off, this 1 star review has nothing to do with the quality of Toyota product, as I have nothing but great things to say about Toyota in general. However, this dealership and how they operate is bush league at best. I bought a new Tundra here roughly a month ago and am just now finding out they still have yet to complete paperwork that was supposedly "good to go" at the time of sale. If everything was truly "good to go" after spending over 5 hours at the dealership, why am I just now finding out it in fact is not, almost a month later. If you have to deal with Mike in financial services... God speed because that man will not let you finish any question you may have before he just walks all over you. You would think if you're spending 70k for a truck, you wouldn't be dealing with a bunch of amateurs along the way. I also tried utilizing either the Military Rebate or Recent College Grad Rebate and was told by the sales team I couldn't go the Graduate route (even though I just graduated), which completely contradicts the terms of the rebate on Toyota's main page and was essentially strong armed into going the Military Rebate route (which goes back to the "good to go" part). If you plan on registering your vehicle out-of-state, buckle up and assume the marathon mentality as they do not know how to do this in an efficient or effective manner, even though they are in a military town where I am sure this not uncommon. All things considered, shout out to Eric as he was very thorough in finding me the exact truck I wanted.
