Very friendly customer service. I called two days ago to have my car towed and the woman who answered the phone was very respectful and very understanding of my situation. The driver Sean was very respectful and very knowledgeable. I really appreciate this company. Much respect.

Great, prompt, friendly service. Was shocked at how fast they arrived. Great couple of guys. Unfortunately I flatted on the side of the road, put in request for roadside assistance and they were on the scene in tops 25 minutes. Had me rolling shortly after. Thanks for the help guys!

I broke down in a dangerous spot with my children and dog in the car. A kind person got us to a safe spot, then drove us home. The police called for a tow since AAA was going to take to long with where my car was stuck. The officer took my number and said she would call me when the tow truck showed up but she did not. I had to call the police dept to track down my car. When I called to make sure that Columbus was who towed my car, they were immediately and incredibly rude to me "yeah we towed it, what are you gonna do with it!?" Umm, I'm calling you to figure that out, but first I had to locate it. 0/10 customer service skills!

always on time. they may get busy but they'll be there when they tell you they will. ive used their towing service at least 5 times to tow everything from a pickup truck to a dump truck. they even hauled a 14,000lb tree skidder for me. it was so simple and easy with the big tractor sized flatbed they have. and it was affordable! excellent place to do business!

One of my trucks trailers had a blown tire on the side of I-95, usually not a big deal, call for road service and replace the tire. One of our team called Columbus Auto since it was in our vendor list and approximately 10 to 15 minutes away. We needed a 10.00 20 size tire,(we usually use retreads) but they only had virgin tires which are more expensive but we will put them on to get our truck up and running. Well a little more expensive was an understatement, they were going to charge $800.00 for the one tire. When my team member asked if this was too much I told him that it is a little excessive and we decided to call around first before giving approval. I do not have an endless supply of money and have to answer to my boss for expenditures. Of course this part of CT is a virtual wasteland for service vendors, when one of my trucks breaks down I always have problems finding anyone who wants to work and this time was no different. We could not find anyone who has that size tire or anyone to come and repair so we ended up calling Columbus Auto back.... well kinda. First they wouldn't pick up the phone, but eventually we got thru and explained to the lady who answered that we needed to have this road call done. She transferred us over to the shop but he would not answer phone. We called back and when the lady answered the phone we explained that there must be an issue with phone because no one answers. She put us on hold then came back on the line and told us that the offer for road service was off the table. What a petty little man, first he was going to charge us $800.00 for a tire and with tax and the road call charges this bill would have been over $1,100.00 I am quite sure of it. Like all things it eventually worked out and the whole road call cost me $400.00 for everything. If you are driving a commercial vehicle I would steer clear of these people, They obviously have enough work and don't want to or need to help out anybody who needs it, only who they pick and choose to. Just wish they would stop advertising to offer road service.

They gave me a discounted rate cause I was in a really bad spot when I called them I'm extremely grateful to them they also responded very quickly

Well do I have a lot to say. I called around 8am to have my wife s car towed from Firestone 2 minutes away from the tow place. They said we will tow it in an hour but come in for payment they took my money and didn t tow until 8pm at night. After fighting on the phone with them they said we forgot to tow your car . Please do not use this tow company. It was 130 to tow from new London to Groton and it wasn t even done on time. Very unprofessional people.

The greatest of all time. One of the most professional, respectful, beyond quality services establishments on the East Coast. Definitely the best in Connecticut BY FAR. I was stuck up a curb and a respectful man came and got my car out in less than 5 minutes. Even raised the car more to see if any thing was done to the car. Transaction was quick and takes cash. Helped me at a time that no other tow company would. If you want reliable, knowledgeable people , beyond exceptional service at a low cost, this towing company is the place to call every time! Thank you again for the help, was really appreciated. Give the drivers a raise immediately! It s the only way. This place has the upmost HONOR! Thanks again.

My daughter had a flat tire so we contacted Geico for roadside assistance. Ticket went in at 11:54, waited an hour and 20 minutes. I called to check the status and was cut off being told to be patient. I ask if they had any idea how much longer and was told no . After 2 1/2 hours of waiting my daughter changed the tire herself and I ask Geico to cancel the ticket. As we arrived at the tire shop we got a call saying they had arrived and couldn t find the car. This was more than 3 hours later! Unacceptable

My jeep broke down on I 95 two hours from home late on a Friday night. My insurance company hooked me up with Columbus Square towing. Oryn appeared in 30 min. He was competent, courteous, took charge, and had my car up on his trailer in under 5 minutes. His truck was spic and span, inside and out. He was knowledgeable and gave me invaluable advice and information about managing the situation (for ex, reputable local options for storage and repair). Ultimately, I decided to have it towed back to my own mechanic. They stored the car safely in their lot (no charge). Two days later, on Sunday morning (Father s day), Oryn s dad celebrated by towing it from New London to upstate New York, probably a 5 hour round trip in holiday traffic. The price was more than reasonable. He dropped it off at my guy s shop safe and sound. By Tuesday night it was repaired and in my driveway. Oryn and his family s towing operation made a commuter nightmare simple and manageable. It was a pleasure doing business with them. I can t recommend them highly enough.

I needed my boat trailer towed home because one of the wheels almost fell off when I made it down to Waterford. These guys suggested I just let them fix it, so I did. They replaced both wheel hubs and I picked it up , drive it home and didn t use it until the next season. I made about 5 short trips (2-8 miles) to launch my boat in the river in the first month of the season and another driver pointed out my wheels were about to fall off. The new hubs are completely shot. After calling them and even e-mailing a photo of my receipt I ve never heard back

3 hour wait for a lock out. I called every hour to check ETA and was told a couple mins away each time. This tow company sucks.

By chance, I met Columbus Square when I was in need of a jump start, with frozen groceries and a dog in Westerly. They beat AAA to the site, and with a diagnosis and practical advice in hand, I was literally on my way in under 10 minutes. That's Hero status in my book! Thank you, CSA - Grateful at Homegoods

My "1" Star is not for the actual pick up services, is for the way that Fred, (if that is his name,) " The supervisor" take care, a situation that I was charged for a service that was not done, because of their bad coordination and miscommunication, they never mentioned the time that my car will be picked up, so they showed up when they decided, and the keys were not there when they arrived, so I was told that call back the next day, and they will pick up the car, I DO UNDERSTAND that they drove there, but when I called back the next day , I was not only told that I was charged for the services that was not done the day before, but the main reason of why I decided to give them this review , was for the way that this person makes fun of me because of my accent,, he was very disrespectful, copying me like a child , yelling, and not trying to find a solution, hanging up the phone twice etc.. VERY POOR customer service by phone. I was already charged the day before , I'm ending pay another $50.

Have had work done at Columbus Square Auto multiple times and was so impressed with service I brought my mother s car to them when she needed tires. Can t beat the prices on tires and the quality of service is impeccable!!!!

It took Columbus Auto 2 hours to respond to an Emergency Roadside Service call issued by USAA. At 5pm, my partner was told that Columbus Auto would be there in 35 minutes. In the end, it was 2 HOURS before they arrived.
