My 2010 BMW 328Xi incurred damage to both the driver and passenger side after two separate incidents. The guys at Coastal Collision--Rich and Nick--took great care of me and my car. They dealt efficiently and effectively with two insurance companies concurrently, and they arranged a rental car for me. Everything was easy and convenient. Rich Perry is a high quality guy and obviously cares a lot about cars, his business, and his customers.

I went to Coastal Collision on Colman Street in new London to have my car repaired after it was rear ended last August . I was referred to Richard Perry who just started working there. He has such an awesome and friendly face! He handled my case very professionally and efficiently. It was 92 degrees last Wednesday and I found out the Enterprise car rental place was a 5 minute walk Richard calmly picked up the phone and called Enterprise for someone to come and fetch me He really went above and beyond his duty I want his boss to know what a great employee he has !

Took my Honda civic after getting hit in an accident. Super friendly. Kept me up to date. My car looked great. They even washed it. I will definitely use them again. Great job. Thank you.

Just recently, we were involved in an accident with our Honda CRV and took Cardnal Honda Motors (we bought the car here) recommendation to have the repairs done my Car Collision Services in New London. From my initial visit to CCS, Mr Perry (shop manager) explained the compete process from the estimate, OEM Honda replacement parts to be used, painting process to final pre/ post functional testing of the vehicular supported options. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend CCS for their collision repair work, service and experience management team run by Mr. Perry .. more than satisfied customer

When a tree unexpectedly fell on the hood of my 2020 Honda Passport, I contacted Coastal Collision and set up an estimate. Upon arrival the shop was super clean, staff was incredibly friendly and they ordered my parts for me before dropping the vehicle off for repair. Olivia at the front desk communicated with me from the time they ordered parts to the time I picked my vehicle up. Her professionalism and attention to detail was incredible. The work done on my vehicle was immaculate and you wouldn't even be able to tell something had ever happened to my car! Absolutely recommend Olivia and everyone over at Coastal Collision! I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my car and the care provided to me throughout my experience with them. Will definitely use them in the future.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Excellent service and body repair to our Honda Fit. We spoke with David on the phone and just from our description he knew what the problem was and how it probably happened. We arrived on a Wednesday morning in June, no appointment, and our vehicle was ready and repaired in less than an hour. The cost of the repair was also very reasonable. Friendly and fast. I wouldn't hesitate to return there for work on my car.Service: Body & Trim

Amazing experience! Body work and service were top notch. Highly recommend. The bumpers on my 2008 BMW had been beat up from years of parking on city streets. Other body shops said that I had to replace the bumpers for $$$$. Nick said that they could repair the existing ones and fix the sensors on the front. They did a fabulous job! Looks like new! Nick and his team got the job done on budget and on time. They even called while they were working on the car to ask if I wanted the license plate holder fixed. I've used Car Service Collision twice now. Both times I've left happy and satisfied. The quality of repair work has been great. It's impossible to discern where the repairs have been performed. The repair estimates were accurate with no surprises when I've gone to pick up the car. They have been timely and have been able to take my vehicle in to start work immediately. When you go in for the estimate, David takes the time to show you exactly what work will be required to be performed, and explains the estimate to you as well. I hope that I don't have anymore "oopsie daisies", but should the need arise, Car Service Collision will be my first stop. Highly recommended!

I'm a repeat customer to coastal collision. I am thoroughly pleased with their customer service. My first visit was to replace a passenger door handle and it got fixed within 3 days because the part had to be ordered. The actual service took about 30 minutes.The second service took about two weeks to replace my entire back and front side bumpers after a collision. As I do not have rental on my insurance, coastal collision was able to provide me with a free loaner car (pending availability). This was incredibly convenient! After their fantastic service, I received my car back cleaned and vacuumed. When I went to go pick up my car there was an additional MINOR issue that they took care of immediately. My car honestly looked brand new.However, I do believe their operating hours are a little inconvenient. I'll have to forgive this as the loaner car took the worry of not having RELIABLE transportation to and from work etc. away. I hope I'll never have to go back for the obvious. But if I ever another accident, they're the only ones that can touch my car.

If you've been in an accident then this is absolutely the worst place to take your car. The manager lies and is extremely unorganized. Tells you he doesn't want to work on your car if the insurance labor rate approved isn't high enough for his liking and he is egotistical like he can do or say no wrong. Not a people person and definitely not a good person at all.

I had a great experience working with David. There was a decent size scratch and broken door handle on my RAV4. He not only helped explain the insurance situation to me, but was able to get me out of there extremely quickly with everything like new, and at a great price. It was a relief that I could trust him and take him at his word. I would definitely use their services again, highly recommended!!Service: Body & Trim

I had a dent and a paint chip about 3 inches in diameter on the driver side front fender of my car, when I heard about this place and the professionalism I immediately took my car over and got a quote on the damage. was very reasonably priced and was able to make time to fit my car right into their schedule. I was very impressed with the work that was done and would recommend this shop to anyone who asks for a professional. Would most definitely use this shop if ever needed again.Service: Body & Trim

Please do not use this place. My car was hit in their parking lot while waiting for mechanical service. I live out of state. When I called I was told work was started. I stopped in unannounced and my car was still sitting in the parking lot untouched!!! Numerous calls (and lies) later, I pulled my car and sent it to Grossmans in Old Saybrook. As someone who used to work in the insurance industry, there s a reason they rebranded to Car Service Collision their reputation is AWFUL! Dave and Nick are unprofessional and unethical. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!Update (9/17): In response to this review, Janet Morse (who works in the office) left a poor review of my business. This just solidifies how unethical this company is!

STAY FAR AWAY! I got into an accident in New London, they worked on my car, after about a year, while I'm driving the front bumper falls off of my car! They glued my front bumper! Luckily I wasnt driving on the highway! I could have died! The paint job they used was cheap too. Almost 14k they got from the insurance company. STAY AWAY! They do not care about you or your car, just profits. They also stole my original TPMS sensors and put used after market...PatheticServices: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & Trim

Where do I start? Car took 6 weeks to complete and had to be brought back twice. The managers at BMW called him a hack. Brought the car in with cosmetic issues and left with a transmission problem. Staff is rude and do not return phone calls. This guy is due for a lawsuit. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DAVE.

The actual job got done, but when I went to pick it up there were more scratches on the car. They offered to repair one of two but when we asked for the damaged part that was replaced, the owner became rude and dragged it out scraping the ground. He actually put more scratches on it because he said it was useless. With that I will cut my losses and go elsewhere. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

The horror stories are true. This is an unprofessional and unqualified automotive repair facility. The car is never correct the first time. Janet is the worst customer service representative in the history of motor vehicles. I d like to see Dave investigated for fraudulent activity. NEVER BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!
