Don't trust your car to anyone else! I found this shop thru a desperate Google search, back in Nov-Dec 2023, when all the shops my insurance company directed me to were booked well into the New Year! They had a higher rating than just about every other garage within a 25 mile search area.So I called Absolute Auto Body and they took my car the next day. I am so glad they were able to fit me in! This shop does high quality work, pays their employees a fair wage, and they use only high quality replacement parts! In addition to the cosmetic repairs, they also found some structural damage my insurance adjustor missed, and my insurance company agreed to pay for those additional repairs! My car is now safer, and it looks brand new! Since then, I've found (by remarks from local friends), that I actually chose one of the best body shops in the New London area! Owners Mike and Danielle are fair, honest, and a pleasure to do business with! They keep you updated on the status of the repair, and it was completed in a timely manner!If you need collision repair work, don't waste your time with the insurance companies' "direct repair centers!" I highly recommend you call Absolute Auto Body FIRST! You'll be glad you did! I know I certainly am!

Absolute Auto Body did the best job ever on my car! I got into a bad accident where my whole right rear quarter panel needed to be replaced along with rear bumper, rear right rim and the rear right lights. The job took less than 2 weeks and wow is it perfect. The car even came back fully detailed! The customer service is top notch and the whole crew there was welcoming and inviting. And I must say this was a way different experience than what I had at most other places where they took one look at the car and I could tell they didn t want anything to do with it because it was such a big job. Or they just told me they didn t want to do it or they just wouldn t get back to me and leave me ghosted. But not at Absolute Auto Body!! Danielle and crew over there were more than willing to help and they even dealt with all of the pain in the you know what insurance company issues. They even had the cutest dog there who was super sweet :). Again, I can not recommend this company enough. Most companies today customer service is lacking and so is the quality of work. That s why this place is so special and was really a breath of fresh air. After an accident is such a stressful time and it s just so nice to have a place where you know they actually care about you and your car and not just making money and getting you in and out as quick as possible. Probably my best auto experience to date. I brought my aluminum bodied F150 in after it was hit on the rear corner. Every detail was taken care of, including the cracked truck cap. The communication was excellent and I was never left wondering "when will this be done?". From the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcome and appreciated.I rarely write reviews but this one really stood out.They will be my first call in the future if I need their work again.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I honestly went to this place because of the reviews and the work I got was far less than expected!!!! I had a new driver door and fender put on and they didn t even paint the inside fender bolt s, so when you open up the hood you can clearly see that there was a replacement fender put on. For a body shop like this that has years of experience these little details should be taken care of not overlooked. I m only writing this review because I don t want the next person to go thru what I did.....Service: Painting

I would recommend Absolute Auto Body to anyone looking for any kind of auto repairs. ALL members of their team are perfectionists and will not return your car to you unless your car looks brand new. They treat your car as if it were their own and they are car lovers through and through. Mike and Gary pay attention to detail, have many years of experience and it sure does show. As far as helping you deal with insurance companies, Danielle will fight for you until you are rightfully compensated for whatever payment you are owed. She is definitely someone you want in your corner and never backs down!!! Hands down the BEST auto body shop in the area.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

This place is by far Best !!!! My vehicle was rear ended and had to be fixed. So glad I chose Absolute Autobody. Their work on my car was nothing less than stellar !!! Danielle is an amazing person, she did everything she could to get the insurance adjusters to fix all the damage on my car repaired !!! Absolute Autobody came highly recommended to me . My son unfortunately hit a deer and it caused extensive damage down the whole left side of his Subaru. We took it to Mike and Danielle who were very helpful and very knowledgeable! They even took care of going back and forth with my insurance company! I appreciated that! The two of them went above and beyond for us! My sons car looks awesome, like it didn t even have any damage to begin with! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs auto body work done!! Top notch work!!

We got a referral from a building contractor who used Absolute Auto Body for their truck repair and decided to use them for our car body repair work. If you are looking for a body shop that cares about getting it right, look no further. This team went the extra mile to make sure my needs were met, and I was happy with the final product. Perfect color match after repairs on parts off of my 22 year old Red Viper. This team provided excellent communication throughout the process, and I highly recommend this shop to anyone that wants a no hassle, great result.Service: Painting

My car needed an estimate for body work following an accident and the damage was beyond the scope of what my mechanic could repair so he referred me to Absolute Auto Body. Mike and his wife were extremely helpful throughout the process. They went above and beyond to work with the insurance company to prepare a quote/estimate for repairs and after Progressive declared the vehicle totaled they accommodated my schedule so I could collect my personal belongings and license plates from the car. When I couldn't get one of the plates off, they took it off for me before handing over the vehicle to Progressive and then held on to it for me to collect later. Dealing with Progressive was a nightmare but dealing with Absolute Auto Body was a pleasure. I recommend them and plan to use their services again in the future.

I love these guys. I had just recently purchased a Mercedes C300 over the summer and had the misfortune of someone backing into me in Newport RI for a friends birthday outing.These guys had to battle with the Geico insurance claims agent and fought hard to make sure my vehicle was fitted with factory manufactured parts as Geico was trying to low ball the estimate and get a replacement part. It was the drivers side headlamp unit that needed to be replaced and of course the bumper needed fixing as well. I got it back in a timely manner, good as new. These guys fought for me, which was a great help as I work 3rd shift and the insurance people were a complete nightmare to deal with.From the office lady who was kind enough to keep me updated on what the insurance agents were saying, to the timeline the repairs would take. To the craftsmanship from the mechanics who own, work and run the shop as well, any vehicle is in good hands here. I was happily surprised with how well they knew Mercedes and BMW vehicles with being an independent shop. I would take my vehicle here any time/any day for any major repair work or even the slightest ding. At the end of the day, they took a deep hit in cost that they ate instead of having to charge me out of pocket. I cannot say enough good things about this shop. As long as you don't have Geico for an insurance rep (they swore off doing business with them after the ordeal they went through with my vehicle), they do the best paint, auto body, work in general on all make/models of vehicles. Thank you guys again for all your hard work last summer!!

I can't recommend this place more! It was my very first time dealing with insurance claims and all that and the folks at absolute were very helpful and understanding. They were also very flexible and accommodated to my very busy schedule. They restored my truck and it looks brand new! Wow! The man "Mike" looked at my car quickly, he gave an honest opinion of my tree sap problem in my paint. He sanded and buffed the area. He made me so happy! The car looks so much better.
