Have been to them twice for car issues that no one else could fix. Extremely good prices, communication, and my car was always ready when they said it would be! 10/10 would recommend

I bought my first car Honda Accord and the owner is highly experienced and as they said if anything happens to the car they will do the repairing in free for a while and they are doing so far. No hassle of registering vehicle to dmv as they did everything.

I went here last Friday 6/11/21 to get my car looked at. They found the issue and it was that I needed new rear brakes and rotors. When I brought the car here, I had all four hub caps (wheel covers) on my car. After they finished the job, I came to pick the car up and my hub cap on the drivers side was missing. I started off by calmly trying to explain to them that I was sure that all four of hub caps were for sure on my car when I dropped it off. In the midst of trying to explain, the mechanics were being rude and trying to tell me that I was accusing them of stealing one hubcap instead of just admitting that when they test drove the car, it fell off. They also continued to go back and forth with me that the hubcap was not on the car when I dropped it off when in fact it was. The final solution was that they would pay half to give me new hubcaps as long as I came with the receipt. On Monday, 6/14/21, my mother went to get the money that they owed me for the hubcaps with the receipt, they gave her a very hard time assuming that I didn t buy the exact hubcaps and the last time they checked the hubcaps were $30 the point of this message is I just want to let everyone knows that comes here is to make sure your car is in the SAME condition it was in when you dropped it off. They lie and will not admit when they have made any mistakes. They also are not willing to fix any mistakes they made and will make it seem like they can make no mistakes. Just be careful everyone that deals w these guys. I would never come here again.Service: Brakes

They are okay. Been going with them for a while and am unimpressed. Asked to get my mirror painted took more than 1 week to get. Clear coat not on. As a woman, I told them symptoms of my car and they joked it off and i krpt driving it. Took it tooo another mechanic turns out my car has a blown head gasket. The crew gives off an I don't got time for you give .

My car needed the spark plugs and brake lights and signal lights. He did it in a timely manner. He keeps calling to keep you posted. He did a great job. I will be going back for an evaporative canister replacement.

Super nice people and an old school mechanic shop .. I was driving through town and I heard a rattling sound from the front left, didn't know what to do as I don't live in New Haven. Called up Lyons and they took me in right away, diagnosed the problem and gave me great advice on the fastest and best way to get it fixed. Really made my day much better and took a huge load off my mind. Thank you!!

Used to use Lyons auto when I was in college and owned an old beater. He always showed me the old parts and never inflated the price of the parts. He always did quality work and I never had to have him redo anything. Recently when I got an inflated price for parts and labor at Meineke, I knew just where to go.
