SIMPLY THE BEST!!Our daughter's car was stolen in New Haven, and was badly damaged when recovered. I contacted Columbus Auto Body Works, and Jennifer and her entire crew took great care in retrieving the car from the impound lot, expertly repairing the car, negotiating a settlement directly with our out-of-state insurance company, and overall just making this a positive and painless experience. Its difficult to manage these types of situations long distance for your kids when they are out-of-state attending college, but Jennifer and the good folks at Columbus Auto Body Works look out for you, and treat the customer like they would treat a member of their own family. Highly recommended!

I have been going to Colobus Auto Boody for years for all my truck and vans and personal cars, I have never had a problem. They are great to work with and still are. I just had my wife's car fix and they did a great job.

These guys do amazing work. My car is my hobby and I never thought it would be the same after an accident. Couple months ago they painted entire driver side and just got the car back again got trunk repainted and both jobs are phenomenal. no orange peel, dust or tape lines anywhere. Color match is awesome. It's been a few months also and the paint has held up great she was just as tough as a oem. If you really care about your car I cannot recommend them more. They went out of their way to make sure I was happy.Service: Painting

They're really good people and took care of me (along with having insurance). They got my front end fixed along with other things (parts and all) and it looks brand new. Really recommend coming to this place if you had a accident and stuff.

Brought our truck here for fender repair . The whole team is wonderful Joe took us right in for an estimate and Jennifer got us set up for an appointment very quickly and even made sure I had a ride home when I dropped the truck off . The work is impeccable! Can t even tell anything happened. Highly recommend them if you need body work

Columbus was the only place out of like 3-5 that I called that would see me the same day for an estimate on body work after getting t-boned. They were thorough and experienced especially with working with insurance companies. I appreciated the communication and getting me in as soon as possible for repairs. After the repair, everything looks as good as new. You wouldn t even know that almost the entire passenger side had been in a collision. Columbus Auto Body did an INCREDIBLE job. Not only did they make my car look significantly better than before I got in an accident, they fixed past errors made by prior body shops. They returned my car to me much cleaner than before I brought it and they did an immaculate job fixing it. Jennifer and her team were amazing. Her company pick me up and drop.me off as my work schedule is hectic. She told me my car would be in her care for 3 days and had my car back in 2 days. Columbus Auto Body Works has been a family owned and operated business for several decades. I had been a customer for many years and had always been very satisfied with the high quality of work I received. Therefore, whenever I needed some work done on my car, after moving back to New Haven a few years ago, I never considered any other auto body shop, because Columbus Auto Body Works had earned my respect and my trust. The staff takes pride in their work, and they are friendly, courteous, and very professional in every aspect of their service delivery and system of operation. I have nothing except very good things to say about Jennifer and her Mom, and all of the staff at Columbus Auto Body Works.

Wonderful customer service! They installed a spoiler on my acura ilx, and they did an amazing job at a great price. They even went the extra mile to wash my car after the job was done. Columbus Auto Body Works has done excellent repair works to replace my driver's side door and fender, etc. Despite that Columbus Auto Body is not in the network of Progressive insurance, they had handled the repairs perfectly, in effective negotiation with my insurance. I am glad that I had chosen Columbus Auto Body to take care of my repair needs. I also would like to thank Jennifer and Dominic for their considerate service.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Columbus Auto Body has helped with two care over the past 12 years! They are knowledgeable, professional and I always feel very fairly priced. They have helped me to get rental vehicles, worked with my insurance and got my vehicle back to me in a timely fashion. Their Tow Division also helped me during a terrible ice storm a few years back. I continue to work with Columbus Auto when the need arrives and I highly recommend them!

Columbus Auto Body made the experience of dealing with insurance adjusters and claims simple and quick. Everyone was helpful, kind, and the work on my car was completed on time. They coordinated a rental car for me, communicated clearly, and dealt with the out-of-state insurance company so my involvement was minimal. Our car was returned to us washed, vacuumed, and cleaned including the tires and wheels. I wouldn't go anywhere else.Update: What really makes me rave about their incredible service is Keith going out of his way to fight a rental car company on my behalf. They picked up the car three days late and want to charge for me some damage that occurred after I returned the vehicle. Keith looked over the car when I returned it and found no damage so he was more than willing to call the insurance company himself and take my side. Throughout the experience, Columbus Auto Body has shown they take customer service seriously and I won't be going anywhere else.

Honestly the worst the shop I have ever associated myself with. They told me my car would be done in 2 weeks, it s been almost a month now and they re finding new things wrong with it. They lied straight to our faces and I am overall very displeased with the communication skills and the way I was treated here. Update: now the car has to be brought to another shop because they have lost my trust and respect. Don t bring your car to Columbus auto body unless you want a hassle...BEWARE. The staff here do not respect cars period.

I have taken a few vehicles to Columbus over the past few years and each time my experience has been the same. They are friendly, quick, and do great work. I've had my car returned clean on the inside and out and have never had a problem. I would highly recommend Columbus.

Went to Columbus twice. Keith was always helpful. Prices were fair. Car work takes a little longer than I would like but they are generally busy. They also were nice enough to give a ride from the tow guy. I would go back here if I had to get other body work to me or my husband's car.

Unfortunately I've been to Columbus Auto body several times with different vehicles and family members. After an accident it's really nice to have someone to turn to who is trust worthy and friendly. They're great at everything from major accidents to small bumper scrapes and car detailing. They also handle the insurance company when needed which is really great.The staff at Columbus is friendly and always accommodating. They're family owned and operated and that is evident when you go there. After every visit they give you a nice coffee mug to remember your experience as well as a little bottle of touch up paint for your car which can really come in handy! If you find yourself in an accident, I recommend Columbus.

They repaired my car after an accident. The service was amazing. My car looks and drives beautifully. The service was top notch. They even gave me a cute mug when I picked up the car. Only inconvenience for me was their business hours are exactly the same as my work hours, with my job being inflexible and almost 25 mins away in moderate traffic.

Had a pretty devistating car accident while on vacation passing through New Haven. The driver of the tow truck was the ONLY person at the scene that was kind to us. The people at the shop were considerate and helpful. The front desk receptionist is wonderful!!

I was parked on Hamilton St. the day of street sweeping, mind you the signs they posted were on 8x10 inch pieces of paper you have to use a magnifying glass to read.. and forget it if you park at night... the guy had my car in the air I said put it down I'm right here and I have my keys. He said "well I have to charge you half..." turns out he lied and charged me full price. I called the company and they treated me like I did something wrong to them.. go figure.. and not for nothing, I am not a "customer" as they called me, I didn't want your services we didn't agree on a price.Update: They called me and refunded me half of the bill.
